Lordy Lordy a close comparison to pizza in Rome. My only wish is that the basil were whole leaf and spread over the pizza top to get the full flavor of garlic, tomato and basil. And of course raw after the pizza is cooked. THAT would have made the pizza a 10 star in my opinion. Watching them hand toss the dough reminded me of being back in Italy or back home in Boston. Perfecto! We also tried the Antipasto salad which was very good indeed. Maybe some herbs/spices in the oil & vinegar? My husband loved his sausage parm dinner and salad and my daughter thoroughly enjoyed Aly's grilled chicken grinder (teriyaki sauce and American cheese) and has enough for lunch tomorrow. Homemade potato chips with bonfire sauce = OMG delish! I could sit and eat baskets & baskets!! The people were very attentive, checked on us and the restaurant was very clean and orderly. I couldn't have asked for it to be any more clean. Highchairs are in the hallway for wee ones to have a seat during visits. And restrooms were easily available. We will def be returning and trying new items.

I checked out the kitchen and they have several of the very best pizza ovens used by the majority of pizza restos that make Italian style pies, always a good sign. I look forward to ordering a Parfumi pie in the near future, something tells me I won't be disappointed

When I'm on the road, I always try to skip the chains and find a local pizza shop. On our way back…read moreto Indiana, a buddy and I gave this place a shot--and I'm glad we did. We started with the mozzarella sticks, and added house-made marinara (8 oz) The mozzarella sticks themselves were pretty standard, but the marinara elevated the appetizer. It had a fresh, homemade flavor and would pair just as well with a plate of penne. For the main event, we ordered the 16-inch Combo pizza (their medium), topped with pepperoni, hamburger, mushrooms, peppers, and added jalapeños. First impression: Wow. The pizza was generously topped without feeling overloaded. The cheese-to-sauce ratio was well balanced, and even though I usually order extra cheese and an extra bake, neither was necessary here. The crust had a great texture with a nice chew and solid structure. If you're someone who prefers a crispier finish, asking for an extra bake would be a good option. With mozzarella sticks, 8oz marinara, the combo pizza, a Powerade, and a Coke Zero, our total came to just $36--an outstanding value for the quality and portion size. If this restaurant were closer to home, it would absolutely be in my regular rotation. For anyone searching for a quality local pizza shop instead of another chain, this one is definitely worth the stop. Our server/host was Elektra. Thank you hope to be back again.

You can't redo the whole place, build a nice bar, put beer and wine signs everywhere, and then charge $7 for a Bud Light, $12 for a Jess, and $21 yes, $21 for a Tito's and soda. This is a neighborhood with working class families that would love to splurge and support your business - please consider that bar prices aren't listed and when they come on a tab and are double standard pricing it feels predatory. I ordered caprese with chicken sandwich. It was on an old soggy roll. It definitely wasn't chiabatta as it was supposed to be. There was literally the thinnest slice of chicken in there with an insulting amount of mozzarella, tomato and basil. The fries were so greasy and brown-probably from old oil. Had about 4 bites of my entire meal and couldn't eat another bite. My wife got a fish sandwich. She had half. Didn't care for it, especially because, again, the old soggy bread-not chiabatta. Didn't like the greasy fries either. Our son had a personal pizza. He had half the pizza before he said he was all set. Waitress didn't bother to ask why we had barely touched our meals and grabbed our practically full plates and brought the check. She was nice, but oblivious to the fact that none of us liked our meals. Since pasta is in the name of the restaurant, that must be their specialty, not anything we got.

My steak was overcooked and the Brussels sprouts were hard and undercooked. At first, we told our waitress everything was okay, but after more discussion toward the end of the meal, we decided the expensive steak was truly overdone and mentioned it. Our waitress was incredibly apologetic and immediately offered to have a new steak made and to take it off the bill. The manager was also so helpful and amazing in making things right. Even though the meal itself wasn't up to their usual standard, the way the situation was handled proves exactly why we keep coming back. Truly impeccable service and still one of our favorite spots.
