The staff was timely for all appointments. The demolition of our existing bathroom was expedient, and all of the materials were taken away leaving no mess. The craftsmen working on our job - from plumbing, drywall, tiling, to painting - were very professional, and friendly, and it was clear they took pride in their work. We are very pleased with the look of our new bathroom, and we thought the price for the work was fair and competitive. The management team was flexible and worked with us through the holiday season. We highly recommend 5 Star Renovation and Design.

Our condo flooded and we needed our entire condo painted (one room needed some serious work as it had wall paper), an entire new kitchen cabinets set, new kitchen counters, new water line to fridge, new kitchen sink, new kitchen faucet, new garbage disposal, bathroom floor tiling, bathroom wall tiling, new bathroom vanity with faucet and other various little things. The process took a little over 2 weeks (which is exactly what they said it would take). The main point of contact for us was Mattie. He and his brother were excellent communicators with me and my wife. Not only did he keep us informed every step of the way, but he did it in a way we could understand (Yes he done the job for us lol). They were so nice and accommodating when we added to the job with no complaints at all. They also had an excellent design team when they came and looked at our kitchen. Above all else, their prices were very reasonable. We would HIGHLY recommend 5 Star Renovation and Design.

While awaiting closing on our new house we worked with Melissa and the team at SR to determine that…read morethe changes we wanted to make (close up an open living room with French doors to create a study and take down a pony wall separating the kitchen and family rooms) were possible and they could meet us at the house right after closing to give us a proper estimate. They committed to starting the project right away so that the work would be done before we moved in several days later. As promised, once closing day came an estimator for SR was at the house within an hour of me receiving the keys and was able to take specific measurements and pictures. A couple of hours later we had a detailed quote and agreed to move forward. They said they would be there 7am the next morning. Little did I know they would show up with a small Army to make good on their promise to have the work done before we moved in. The team moved quickly and efficiently. I exchanged numbers with the foreman so that they could easily text any questions. The team was very professional - worked diligently and most importantly they took the time to explain what they were doing and gave me options and recommendations for solutions to challenges that arose. The team consisted of many specialized skills that were brought in when needed. They did an excellent job coordinating who was needed when and made sure no time was wasted. Trim specialists were brought in to tie into the existing trim in the former living room and a hardwood flooring specialist was brought in to tie into the existing floors for where the pony wall once stood. It seemed like everyone on the team enjoyed working there and with each other and they all had direct access to the owner Sam to keep him up to speed and make sure I was happy with the work. I appreciated being able to check in with Sam a couple of times and he went out of his way to make sure I was happy with the solutions his team came up with. At the end of the day the team worked long days to create a much more usable house for us and meet their promise of finishing their work by the time we moved in. Their work has transformed the house for us and had made it so much more usable. As we settle in (and save up some more $$) we can't wait to have Sam and his team at SR transform other parts of the house for us!!

We have hired SR to do many things in our house - flooring, bathroom remodeling, garage dry wall…read morerepairs, etc . Their initial quote is always competitive, however, as the work makes progress, you will find many things that were not included in the original estimate. Therefore, if you're not knowledgeable enough, your final quote might end up being much higher than the initial estimate. For example: we paid almost 10K+ to remodel one room and they left one wall unfinished because they said it was not included (we thought it was). So make sure you have all the nitty gritty details written down in your estimate to avoid confusion later. Also, their work hasn't stood the test of time. We noticed many things have started to fall apart not too long after the work was completed - example : our LVP is peeling off in low traffic areas, leakage under the shower door and under sink, multiple door hinges have already broken, the floor has uneven spots despite paying extra to flatten it, etc. The work looks nice in the beginning but after a while you'll start noticing where they made compromises to make it "affordable". In terms of communication, they are pretty responsive. We haven't had major issues with Alexa, Sam, Camilo, Dan other than occasional misalignment between everyone.

Mario reviewed the work and offered a very competitive bid that also met our timeline. Mario and his crew completely renovated our kitchen, 3 bathrooms, and basement, while also refinishing the floors, replacing doors, and painting throughout the house. Every deadline was met and the crew worked around our needs as we moved into the house. The work was done very professionally, and Mario helped us find designers and suppliers to complete the work. Unfortunately there isnt much more work we need done! But we will definitely use Mardeck's in the future, and highly recommend Mario

Christian and Mario diligently braved the coldest weather of the year and went the extra mile to ensure our unique requests were met. Mardeck's was the most reasonable of the four estimates we got. Random strangers have knocked on our door to ask who did the work. Mardeck's clearly has the customer's interests at heart; it's refreshing to work with honest professionals who are great at communication with an eye for detail.

Work included relocation of walls, replacing plumbing pipes and fixtures, replacing ceiling light fixtures, adding electrical outlets, replacing a bathroom and kitchen, new wood floors, trim casework, replacing interior doors, and renovating a fireplace. The renovation project was complex because this is a second home, and I was not on site while any work was underway. Communications and commitments during the renovation were consistent and reliable. All the design work and selection of appliances, fixtures, cabinets, tiles, floor stains, paint colors, and cabinets were completed while working remotely with the BHS design team, who provided well-thought-out options. BHS completed the condominium renovation with minimal rework while efficiently managing change orders. While working with BHS, you will be transitioning from a pre-project team, design team, project team, and on-site project leads. Tracking the details and over-communicating will be required to define on the front end what you want and, throughout the project, to ensure that you get the expected results and quality.
