Food was good. Help needed help but they where new to open. I would recommend giving it a try. Right off the expressway, across from the McDonald's. Up the road you have Finger Lakes Casino!

Very slow service. Wait staff was great at avoiding eye contact. The food is good but don't stop here if you are in a hurry.

Best food I've had since moving here in three years! Eric had the Salmon eggs benedict and I had the Korean chicken and waffle. The coffee is ground by the cup and local coffee company in Canandaigua. Mmmmm... It was an hour drive but worth every mile! The owner was fantastic! Great energy and very friendly. Super quick service! The charming historic school house is charming in every way! Limited seating so best to come on a weekday. They have outdoor seating in the spring through fall. They had a different setup for the festival so I ordered at their order window and took the pastry to go. I got the grape poptart, which was delicious. They had music out front and a large open space where some people were hanging out. The entire town was very busy for the festival, but we were able to find parking near the cafe. This was a cool experience, but I'd love to visit again when the Naples grape festival isn't happening.

Once inside, the restaurant has a nice little cozy feel. The place was PACKED, but we must have just walked in at the right time, being seated instantly. Our waitress was over within a minute or two, and took our drink orders. And a couple minutes after that, we were able to put in our food orders. I ordered a hot delight omelette, with their homemade white toast, and a side of corned beef hash. The omelette was good not great, with a nice hint of spice from the jalapeños. The homemade toast was the star of the show with a nice crisp to it, and a nice buttery flavor. The corned beef hash was not my cup of tea. I am a corned beef hash lover, but I was not a fan of the taste and texture of it here at Patty's. The flavor was really potato forward with not much of a meat flavor to it. My wife ordered the sausage gravy and biscuits, which was the start of the show! The gravy had a nice blend of sausage and pepper flavor, while not being too forward with a cream tasting. The biscuits were so warm and fluffy. Overall we had a good time and the staff were very friendly. With my wife and I being local we definitely will be back, probably to try some different foods.

We were immediately greeted by staff who were incredibly friendly. The menu has a lot of breakfast selections. I ordered the biscuits and gravy with a side of scrambled eggs. Our food came out quickly and was hot. I was impressed with how delicious and flavorful the sausage gravy was. The eggs were also fluffy and hot, full of flavor which I am normally quite picky about. My husband ordered the hot delight omelette, homemade toast and corned beef hash. His meal was good overall, but there was a flavor in the hash that was off putting. Since my husband and I are locals, we will definitely be returning here!

Recently went back to NY to visit my mom and family…read more First morning back, friend from high school and I went to Hill Top Diner. Ok so growing up in this area, we went to the place it was back in the day, Akropolis (I think is how the spelled it back then) Back in the day it was pricey. Fast forward to present day and it's STILL pricey...and pricey for a diner. It is NY after all, but I mean, plenty of diners around that are cheaper. Does that mean I had a bad experience? Nah. Was just shocked at the prices. My plain waffle with butter was like $9. That's just insane to me. Waitress was super nice. She didn't check on us for refills and whatnot tho. So that was unfortunate. Still a nice person. Suuuuper quick in wanting us to order tho and by the time we got there the breakfast rush was definitely over. So It's ok to slow down some, sis lol. It's a good place to check out. Will I rush back there? Nah, probably not. We went bc my friend had to go to Canandaigua for her boyfriend and my mom lives not far from Canandaigua. So my friend picked me up...hence why we chose this place. Definitely worth checking out. People like this place from the reviews I've seen. Again, it's not a bad place at all. Food was definitely good. Just pricier than I expected is all...and again...for a diner. People love diners bc the food is almost always better than "regular" restaurants and the prices are USUALLY cheaper. This place is about or close to the same as a reg restaurant. Thanks for reading, YelpHillyToppers! Cheers!

So my party of two didn't get to eat here. But strange to turn people away when online, it states the business closes at 2pm. EDIT: If you post a sign on the door with specific hours but don't update your hours on Google, it can create confusion for customers. Additionally, there seems to be a discrepancy between the chalkboard outside, which lists a closing time of 2 PM, and the sign allegedly on the door which stated 11:30 AM close. We didn't even see the 11:30 sign. The hostess also mentioned a noon closing time. It might be helpful to ensure that all sources of information are aligned to avoid misunderstandings. For those seeking consistency, another option nearby, such as Simply Crepes, might be a better choice. If the owner is responding to Yelp reviews, I'm sure he's tech savvy enough to update hours on Google. Also, if last call is 11:30 and we walked in before 11:15, not sure why we weren't able to be seated.
