Finally! We made it to the Royce to try their famous burger and yes, it was wonderful. You order at the bar, take a number and wait. It's small inside so we sat out on the patio. It was a gorgeous day so it worked out. That's not my favorite set up for a meal, I prefer table service but I understand. It took a while to get our food, maybe 30min. It was packed, every table full and standing room only. Great beer selection. Looking forward to going back and trying the whole menu.

Royce is becoming one my families favorite lunch spots. We can bring our dog and enjoy the outdoor patio and the food is delicious. My kids love the burgers and fries, it's nice they offer a kids menu as well. I'm always tempted to get some of the other burgers, but the Royce burger is so good I usually just go back to the basics. We ordered cheese curds and they were really good as well. I apreciate they offer several different dipping sauces. Highly recommend upgrading from Chips to Fries. Until our next visit Royce!

We came in at 4:30 on a Saturday night before a basketball game. As we walked up to the counter, the wait time for food changed from 45 min to 1 hour. I understand restaurants can be busy but an hour is a long time to wait for a burger. Our food runner delivered our wings for our appetizer and didn't ask us if we were okay and needed anything else. At Royce, you order at the bar and don't get assigned a server at your table. Therefore, I feel that it's very important the food runners check in with you because they'll be your only point of contact throughout the night. And unfortunately, I ran into a problem. The Japanese wings were burnt and overcooked. I had to get up, find a food runner, and figure out if they could make me a new set of wings. They did and the second set turned out way better than the first. Our burgers did show up approximately 1 hour after we ordered and they were delicious. Everything just "came together" and tasted wonderful. The ambiance is a very friendly, dark, casual, and gives off a cozy neighborhood bar vibe. Overall I would come back because the burgers were very good.

I have passed by Royce plenty of times and finally got to go in and around and OMG I love it! On a busy Friday night for my friend's birthday, we hoped inside to an older building with classic decorations, waiting in line we got to figure out our food orders and I noticed all the songs playing on their speakers was punk and rock! From Turnstile to Lambrini Girls, which immediately grabbed my attention and love. I ordered drinks while my boyfriend ordered burgers and we met our friends outside. Royce does a great job at pumping out food on a busy Friday night, I enjoyed the friendliness of the bartenders and the varied seating around the area. Love love loved! I WILL be back.

Everything seems to go well in this establishment. Great times, great vibes, lead to some of the best food. The beer choice is consistent. Each cocktail being shaken looks delicious. The burgers, kitchen, and service staff are always friendly and on point. The place has the best vibe with multiple TVs to watch stuff, but most off all this place inspires conversation. The bar staff and bar is always inviting if you can find a seat. If the wait is an hour or longer, have a deeper conversation, try a new brew, or find a new menu item to try. Sometimes the apps come out quick. The kitchen gets food out as fast as possible and each item is worth the wait. Keep enjoying Royce!

If you want a classic and delicious burger this is the place. We went on a gorgeous sunny day and we were able to sit outside with our dogs and enjoy a lovely lunch and outdoor vibe. It was easy to order from the bar and they brought the food right out to us when it was ready.

I love Royce, They by far have one of the best burgers in town. The atmosphere is tight yet homey. The staff is always friendly and familiar and the food is always fantastic. I use to always get the Japanese chicken wings or the royce burger but on my most recent visit i got the Frenchified and it is now my go-to. Whatever you decide to go with is going to be a phenomenal choice. Royce Rulez!

Royce never disappoints! Easily the best burgers in Reno--juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly every time. The cocktails are just as impressive, and the fun, friendly staff make the whole experience even better. Great food, great drinks, great vibe--always a win!

Royce is my go-to spot for a burger in Reno! I so wish they were open for lunch during the week - as someone who works downtown, I would go more frequently if that was the case. That said, I don't go to Royce nearly enough! Their burgers are my favorite In Reno, and I recommend them to announce who will listen, with an important tip: Visit early! They tend to get very busy (especially on Fridays + Saturdays - they no longer offer takeout on these days), which will extend your wait to order and receive your food. Arriving during peak will also make it more difficult to find a spot to sit, especially when it's too cold or windy to sit outside. I've visited with different groups throughout the year and it's always a pleasure: dinner with a friend, happy hour with coworkers, a burger and a World Series game, you can't beat it! The inside is moody with sports on every tv and the outside is a real treat when the weather is nice. Finally, the food! All the burgers come with double smash patties. I've tried the bbq and frenchified burger and both are delightful. The frenchified is my go-to and has really bold flavor. I always get fries on the side with a ranch. The fries are really great - thin and seasoned really well. I recently tried the cheese curds and they are to die for! The pork belly and shishito peppers were also a hit with the group. Give Royce a try! It really is a Reno gem and hits the spot when a burger craving strikes!

I feel like this place is overpriced and it's WAY too dark inside. The service was good so that was nice. The food was just okay. The burgers literally just tasted like in n out. I will say the pork belly bites were absolutely delicious. The fact that they up charge for you to get fries with the burger instead of chips is crazy but I do like that they have a gluten free bun option. Not sure I would come back here but it was cool to try.

All of my out of town guests were craving burgers, and I found this place on yelp. It is a bar and lounge and has some booths, some bench tables for large parties, bar, seating, and some couches. It's exactly all of the things you would want in a dive bar. You have to find your own place to sit. Then you order food and drinks at the bar. Bartender gives you a number. What we ordered: Long Island iced tea Amaretto sour Crown apple whiskey Vodka seven Vodka soda 3 x Royce burger Portabella burger Barbecue burger Bbq Pork belly 2x fries All of the drinks were perfect. Best amaretto sour. Long Island iced tea was strong and good. Just as a bar, I would enjoy this place. The food made it even better. The Royce burger and fries were awesome. This will definitely be my go to lounge for a burger and fries. The fries are shoe-string potatoes with perfect taste and texture. The mushroom burger, however, was horrible. Pretty sure it was a microwaved mushroom. Also, my son ordered an extra patty on the mushroom burger, and it was like shoe leather. It may have been microwaved with the mushroom. My son was eating his burger, and I asked to taste it. He didn't realize what was wrong with it until I let him taste the Royce. He immediately took his plate to the manager. It was that horrible. Unfortunately, the had closed the kitchen. The manager apologize gave my son a free drink in compensation. Normally I would have requested to have the Burger removed from the bill, however, my son did actually eat 3/4 of the burger not realizing it was crap. Also, the pork belly was just meh... I'm pretty sure the kitchen was closing and they just rushed a couple of our items. Here are a few other things that kept this from being five star. First: We found a booth in the back, but it had Not been cleaned. There was a guy at the top of the stairs. I asked him if he worked there. He said he did. I asked him if he could help clean the table off. He said a waiter would be by shortly and just stood there and did nothing. The bar was absolutely packed, and he was just standing there. Eventually, the waiter came by, I would say more a food runner/Buser. He cleaned the table and I asked if he had a menu. He said that we had to order the food at the bar, and I said I definitely understood that but did he have a menu. He said I had to go to the bar and get my own menu. He also went to the expediting window and stood there. That's a bit strange that they're not so customer service oriented. I would say solid 3 1/2 star however bumped up to four star just because the atmosphere and the music were great. I really like the vibe here.

We've been to Royce once or twice many moons ago when we would have a drink. Haven't been back since they served burgers but I see everywhere how good the burgers are. We were greeted warmly and offered menus. Once ordered we sat outside as it was a beautiful summer afternoon before the thunderstorms. The patio was decently busy. It took about 25 minutes for our food to be delivered, and only one burger was. The guy explained mine had been made on a regular bun not gluten free so they were remaking it. Mine came out about 10 minutes later and he was very apologetic, which I appreciate and I also appreciate the attention to detail even though it was missed the first go around. My burger was pretty good. The bun itself was a 10/10 which is difficult for gluten free! However they made it was very good maybe a little toasted or something. Fries were yummy and I would recommend them over the chips which looked to be basic potato chips. Hubs didn't love his burger, felt like they might not have been fresh patties but he can talk about that if he wants. Dogs on the patio which I love to see. I would recommend to check out.

We had been wanting to try Royce for a while and finally made it out to try. I definitely lives up to all the hype and high reviews. The place has a nice vibe with indoor and outdoor seating. I was pumped to see the Rainer bottles on the menu! The bartenders were all cool and very helpful with it being our first time in. We ordered pork belly, buffalo wings and a bbq burger. Every thing was incredible. The pork belly had a nice sauce on it and was very tender. The wings were crispy, saucy and delicious. The star was the bbq burger with their homemade bbq sauce. I enjoyed the vinegary tang from the bbq sauce and flavorful patties. Overall Royce is a must try when in Reno! We will definitely be back.

Is there an option to order a single patty burger?

I'm sure you could order just one patty, they are super accommodating! However the burger patties are VERY thin ( I LOOOVE THAT! ) So basically two patties are like one normal burger patty size, combined. Hope that helps :)

When we showed up, we asked if we could sit at a table outside, the guy was a little overwhelmed, he said "I can sit you in 10 mins". I said "can we have this table". OK, but....just know I'll be with you as soon as I get caught up, I'm totally fine with that I said. . He bought us a couple menus to look over. Then a table on the railing with shade opened up, I didn't care about the table was dirty with dishes, so we decided to move. I love to look at the river and watch the people go by. The server said, I'll be over soon! He was never so happy when Sierra showed up to help him out. He came over to our table I said "I hope you don't mind, I moved to be in the shade, I know I'm one of those pain in the ass customers". Then he started joking with me and it was the perfect ice breaker. My server and part owner's name is Casey! He is an awesome guy and such a hard worker to ensure his customers are taken care of. I love that. We had a couple beers, he has quite the selection of beers on tap, he supports the community breweries such as Lead Dog and Revisions. What an amazing place!…read more Went here for a mother's day brunch. We had a reservation and were seated quickly. I ordered Guinness and the pour was perfect. Also no bitter aftertaste, so they know how to maintain their lines The Billionaire Burger was amazing. Harris Ranch beef, local fried egg, perfect acids from the kimchee and pickles and superb bacon rounded out this organic burger But the fries really made the meal to the point where i ordrred a second order to go with my second pint! Service was top notch, too This restaurant is worthy of a Michelin Star!

After eight years, I think it is time for an update…read more Our most recent visit was overall good. We made a reservation, but on a Thursday evening, it was not full. We were given a choice where we wanted to sit. Water and menus were brought right away. Kenyon our server, took drink orders and on returning took our meal orders. Overall service was good and our satisfaction was checked. I had the Tiger Prawns and Grits. My best beloved had Buttermilk Fried Chicken. Both were very generous portions. The prawns were very good. The grits were a bit runny (I prefer dryer grits) but tasty. My husband said the chicken tasted good, but was a bit overcooked. We shared a Tiramisu for dessert. We felt the food was good, but nothing swoon worthy considering the price. The atmosphere is cozy, but did not feel closterphobic. Is it worth a return visit? Yes.

Martin Busser kept things running smoothly, and you could tell he really cares about the experience. Greg, the bartender, was on point with great service and a friendly vibe. Tried Sierra St Kitchen & Cocktails for dinner and drinks before going to a movie for a date night…read moreand had a good time. We started by ordering some drinks and bruschetta. The drinks were great and tasty, but the bruschetta honestly fell a little flat - the portion felt tiny with four small raw white bread medallions and just some diced tomatoes tossed on top with a drizzle of balsamic that I overall didn't have much taste and felt lacking as an attempt at bruschetta but it was no big deal and we moved on. We also ordered the filet tips with gnocchi that took a little longer and came out with the main entrees and it was delicious. The filet tips were savory and flavorful, the gnocchi was excellent and the sauce was rich and creamy. My wife ordered the chef's pasta which turned out to be a shrimp pasta that she really enjoyed, and I ordered a spicy sausage rigatoni pasta that looked amazing but unfortunately fell short - it had a little bit of spice and everything was cooked perfectly but the noodles and meat tasted plain and the sauce was quite bland and watery and lacked any sort of seasoning. We asked for some salt which made it a little better and I finished it but would probably not order it again. Lastly, we topped the night off with the banana foster which couldn't miss. It was extremely delicious and was the perfect end to the meal. The service was exceptional and extremely pleasant which honestly boosted the experience. There was a large loud party happening and drinks and food were taking quite a bit to come out, but our server was amazing, charming, and attentive. They apologized and comped our drinks without even having to say anything and made us feel welcome and comfortable. I would come back for the service alone. Overall had a great night with delicious drinks and fantastic service with food that can be a little hit or miss and requires finding your favorites.
