This place is absolutely amazing. The food is prepared when you order it. The ingredients are fresh. We haven't ordered anything that wasn't wonderful. Many and Mr. T really have something special here. Their wonton soup is the best I've ever had. My personal favorite dish is the Yaki Soba with beef. Gyoza is a great appetizer. You choose how spicy you want you food. We are an hour away from this place and it is worth the drive. read more

I happened to be staying in hotel next door and was thrilled to see all of the great reviews for this place on Yelp, so decided to get takeout. It was a bit early on a Thursday evening, but the place was surprisingly empty. Ordered the pad thai and the green curry, both a bit spicy. The pad Thai was okay but not spicy at all. I've had this dish several times and have had better. The green curry smelled a bit like soap to me, but tasted more flowery and herby. Honestly, though, the smell was a bit off-putting. I've had this dish before elsewhere and it was much better than here. At least it was spicy. Overall, the food was a bit disappointing. I would not eat here again. read more

I agree about the new ownership-food was served much faster, even though the cook ("Mom") was making specialty gluten-free dishes for us. They said they were going to get some gluten-free soy sauce in the restaurant, and also that people can bring their own if there is a special soy sauce they like and they can cook it up. Our three kids (4, 6, and 9) also had a great experience, and servers/owners were very personable and like family, really. We ate every.single.bite. The portion sizes were good though--I agree that the last owners gave very stingy portions. We had modified pad see-EW (with a garlic sauce instead of soy since they did. It yet have any GF soy sauce, red curry with chicken, and a delicious chicken and coconut milk soup that we ladled over our 4-year-old's side of rice noodles. read more

Outstanding dinners! And, great service. My wife and I dined here and requested spring rolls that are not deep fried, and they made them on the spot. The entrees, a special tilapia dish and a chicken dish with a range of vegetables and noodles, were delicious. Thai cuisine is one of my favorites, and have eaten in Thai places all over, and this is one of the very best. Whenever I am in the area again, I will be coming here. read more

I remember when the restaurant opened in 07. Definitely not the same quality. Went there last night, as we were in the area, and I wanted to share the food with my fiance. We got a seat quickly because they weren't that busy. I ordered some soup and was asked how hot I wanted it. This surprised me as I have never been asked this at other Thai restaurants. The server joked about me crying if it was too hot (didn't appreciate the attempted humor). The flavor of the soup was ok but the intense spiciness took away from enjoying it. I also ordered the red curry with chicken. The curry sauce was watery, the chicken was not moist but the vegetables were crisp and fresh. Not the same as I had experienced in the past. And to top off the evening, they allowed a 5 year old, at another table, sing karaoke. Glad we were finished and leaving. Restaurants evolve with time but this one seemed to have devolved. read more

This place is truly a hole in the wall gem. There is not many places in Heath to eat that isn't a chain and this family run business is a rarity! It is run by a super friendly and accommodating Thai family who are just the sweetest. The food is very authentic and whatever I get I have never been disappointed! I recommended the red curry, massaman(?) curry, and the salads! They are all delicious. I recommend this place to all my friends and I will definitely be a long term customer :) read more

I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant, it is truly the best Thai food I have ever eaten. Every meal is made with the freshest ingredients and with such attention to detail. The chef is skilled and clearly loves what he does. My husband and I live in Columbus and will drive for an hour just to eat here. The waitress used to be much nicer, but the past few times I've been here, she's been rude and unhelpful. It took 5 minutes to receive drinks and we never received a refill after they were empty. My food was made wrong and rather than remaking it correctly, she insisted that it wasn't her fault and that the cooks made it wrong and wouldn't remake it. It was not taken off of our check either. On 1/2/16 my daughter and I went to Royal Thai for dinner. Our family had been there several x's before. I ordered the Chicken Yakisoba like countless other times. When asked what spice level (1-10) I ordered a level 1. My daughter also ordered a level 1 for her meal. I took one bite of the chicken and it was extremely spicy. My daughter's meal was fine. I told the waitress that it was way too spicy and I could not eat it. The waitress insisted that I got what I ordered. She also insinuated that Chicken Yakisoba is a spicy dish. I told her that I have had that dish there several other times and that it had never been that spicy before. She did not budge. Did not offer to do anything to rectify the issue. So, I asked for a carryout container, paid the check and did NOT leave a tip. I vowed to myself that I would never return again. UNFORTUNATELY, I had to return. My statement from the credit card company showed that Royal Thai had submitted a charge that was EXACTLY 15% more than what I had authorized!! I went back to the restaurant and confronted the same person. Told her I did not authorize the additional charge and wanted the overcharged amount back. She apologized and said it was an honest mistake. She did refund the additional money that was applied to my credit card. Again, I spoke to her about the issue of the meal being way too spicy and was not pleased that she did not try to rectify the issue. She said that it was not her fault or her cook's fault. She advised that they do not take the food back and do not give money back for the food. When advised that we would not return again, she said it was ok for us to not return.
