Alaskan Roll in back. Samurai roll in front.

This was the best sushi I've ever had at a restaurant! The presentation was beautiful! The place was clean and the service was great! The bathroom was odd and missing a toilet seat in one stall. Despite that small detail, I will absolutely be a return customer!

I love this place! Small plates but all you can eat. There's a menu, you order from it and you can order something different every time and they make it to order. It's not buffet style so it's always fresh. The sushi was fresh and delicious with lots of choices. Katsu was really crunchy. The chicken fried rice was amazing it had tons of flavor and small diced up vegetables that still had crunch. The shumai, spiced kimchi, takoyaki all delicious. I really went overboard on the pea pods from the salad bar. They were nice and salty. The waitress is super friendly and came back often. Everything came out hot. The prices were fair was about $20 a person and we left completely stuffed. There is a ridiculous amount of seating the building is an Old country buffet building from back in the day so there's lots of seating. It was really clean and there's several places for good photo opportunities if you're still inclined. The mall is right next door even though it's nearly empty it's a good place to walk afterwards and be inside away from the elements. It is located within a mall so there's plenty of parking. And there's a decent sized well stocked Goodwill nearly next door. Home depot, a Ross for less, Big lots store, several other dining options, and a Walmart all within 1 mile. I-69 is also right around the corner. I definitely plan to be back.

really 4.5 stars but rounding up thought the sushi was really good and the price was spot on. Service was good and never was annoyed by our constant orders.

It was outstanding service and food. Everything except the soups and salad are made to order. The spring rolls were right out of the fryer, and not. Just a wonderful experience. I'll be back.

Love the fact that you can choose which sashimi to taste and then order as much of it as you want for the next round

Everyone is so friendly in there. It's such a great deal. The sushi and the apps are all made to order so it's not sitting around all day. The sashimi is fresh and tasty. Best of all, it's all included in one price. You can choose your entree or entrees and pair it with whatever side or sides you want. Plenty of choices. Be aware though that sashimi is only available at dinner. It's all you can eat sushi and apps for lunch.

Fresh, made to order and so tasty! The best kind of buffet. Our server forgot about us and I'd still go back! The food was that good.

The burger patty itself was good I had crispy edges like you expect from an old school diner. But they were very small and very thin like a smashburger. The fries were completely dead they had absolutely no flavor. There's plenty of seating but the place hasn't been updated in 100 years the seats are taped together everything looks dingy. My waitress smelled like cigarettes. Just not impressed. I used to go there when I was young and drunk in the middle of the night maybe I romanticized how good Starlite is. Or maybe it's just changed over time. They do have a big parking lot and the right next to a gas station so if you need some odds and ends and they have a drive-thru which are all nice. For three hamburgers three drinks some mozzarella sticks our bill was $60 which is expensive for a diner. If I'm in the area maybe I'll stop in but I definitely won't be making a special trip.

The waitress was super friendly as was the lady who cashed us out. They have daily specials written on the sign when you first walk in there's plenty of seating mostly Booth style like an old school diner with really cool old photos up on all of the walls and an old legit style jukebox behind the counter. The menu is really good it's full it offers lots of different choices for people of all ages. I got the bacon cheeseburger with french fries and a shake. The shake was absolutely delicious I could go back for just that. It was super thick not overly sweet. It came in a cool metal cup with an actual metal spoon I mean who even gives metal spoon these days. The bacon cheeseburger had crispy edges crispy bacon a fresh tomato and a soft pillowy bun. French fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I also had some fried pickles with ranch dressing. The fried pickles were nice because the batter was really thin often times the batter's so thick you can't even taste the pickle this was not the case. I was absolutely thrilled with all of my food it was tasty, it was fresh and hot, the place was clean, and the service was friendly I would go back any day and I would recommend them to anyone.

If you're craving real, old-school comfort food, Grandma's Recipes absolutely delivers…read more We both ordered the fried chicken, which takes about 25-30 minutes because it's made fresh and it shows. The batter is thin, crispy, and not overly heavy, and the flavor feels like something straight out of a home kitchen. This isn't fast-food fried chicken... this is Sunday dinner at grandma's. The meal itself is a lot of food for around $17: four pieces of chicken, real mashed potatoes with homemade gravy, a vegetable, a potato, plus a salad and a cup of homemade chicken noodle soup with those old-school egg noodles. Everything tasted fresh and well-seasoned, not processed or rushed. We also tried the fried mushrooms everyone talks about, and they lived up to the hype. They use large portobello mushrooms, which makes a huge difference. No watery, soggy bite like you get at a lot of places, just a clean, meaty texture with a crispy coating. The atmosphere is calm and cozy. Lighting is dim enough to feel relaxed, and with only about 20 tables, it's not loud or chaotic. No kids running wild or constant traffic in and out, just a laid-back, "take your time" kind of vibe. The space has a log cabin feel with exposed wood, vintage décor, and black-and-white photos. The tables and chairs aren't fancy, but they're clean and fit the nostalgic charm. Service was great during our visit. Our waitress was attentive, checked on us regularly, took our order quickly, and everything came out hot. I've seen mixed reviews about inconsistent service, but our experience (first visit) was very positive. There's also plenty of parking, which is always a win. Between the generous portions, fair pricing, and genuinely homemade feel, this is the kind of place you come back to. They also offer daily specials and make many of their own desserts. I'll definitely be back to try the coconut cream pie. Overall: Comfort food done right, with a cozy, no-frills atmosphere and excellent value.
