Great service, great food, a great time! My mom had Sushi for the first time today and she learned chopsticks today, everyone was so kind and the food was great!

This is some of the best hibachi I've had in Michigan. The food was fresh and high quality, and the presentation was excellent. The customer service was outstanding, and the staff was exceptionally friendly. I was personally greeted by the chef, which made the experience feel welcoming and genuine. The atmosphere was peaceful, and the service was fast and efficient. I highly recommend this restaurant if you're in the Flint, Michigan area. Some of the best things on the menu that I've tried so far is the kabuki fried rice(for people who like spicy food) and the samurai hibachi(shrimp, chicken, and steak) if you're looking for first time recommendations.

Shrimp Bento Box

I ordered the shrimp bento box and my son ordered hibachi chicken (didn't have time for a pic, he was eating fast. lol) . I ordered mine to get a variety. Everything was tasty. My son was very pleased with his portion size and flavor. We also ordered crab ragoon. That was good as well. My 4 stars is only because the floor was sticky and the bathroom could've been cleaner. Regardless of those two things, we will definitely stop in again for another meal! And not to forget, our waitress was great!

Food is good. We had California rolls & shared a bento box. Price was good for two people. With a soda it was under $35.

It is the condensation that's on the glass. The soup was very good. The lady gave me the right container. Yes, the temperature was excellent. I do not like Styrofoam. And I never will Nope! when condensation drips onto my arms from a glass shield I don't like it. I was able to see. It appears very dark. But I was able to see. Driving in the back of the parking lot. That's when I discovered that maybe my vehicle needed more maintenance. That's how bumpy the parking lot is. The food was excellent. The service was excellent. The ambience it was pretty good. I agree. The wonton soup is very good. I will never use Styrofoam again. Thank you. Water on glass and styrofoam Two star. You wanted me to be honest! I always tip. Always. Yes. I didn't want to cook.

The KBBQ ribs/ steak is new and so on par with what I was craving the other day. There's tons and tons of seating, and they can accommodate parties. They've got a sushi bar, a hibachi preparation area, soups, and desserts. They've got Chinese-American staples like General Tso's, black pepper chicken, and fried noodles and rice. The lighting is dim, but I don't find that to be a bad thing. You will eat lots and eat good here. The waitstaff are prompt to seat you, refill your drinks, and get you your bill as soon as you ask.

I finally had the opportunity to go this version of the Flint Farmers' Market and I was pleasantly…read moresurprised. It is centrally located downtown and shares a decent sized free parking lot with a few other businesses. Inside there are a plethora of small businesses including restaurants, bakeries, a gallery, stores and the Flint Children's Museum and Store. In the back there are plenty of tables and seats to enjoy your meal or snack while there. I was just there to browse and see what they have to offer but unfortunately, I wasn't able to return to try any of the establishments. I do hope to try something on the next go around. On the day that I visited, it was clean, organized and easy to navigate; for the most part it goes around in a circle with only a few businesses e.g. pizza, ice cream place, etc. tucked in a corner. It definitely was worth stopping in to see what it was all about.

It's the layout. A better structure would make all the difference. Let's be real, some of these places can be high end, so I would love a cleaner, more polished feel to the place overall. That can start with the central dining area. It's not nice. It could be rustic and a place people would want to sit and have coffee. Unless it's Steady Eddy's, I'm taking my food to go. The place severely needs a makeover. It's right by the college. Capitalize on that. Make it an environment that is friendly and they will come and patronize regularly. I should know- I used to be one of those students. Let's talk about parking. Yep- I'm going to move every last of those orange cones every single time to create more parking. You're welcome people of Flint. Whoever is doing that has no common sense. And now the good- clean bathrooms. Yay! Air conditioned shopping is a plus. There are an excellent variety of vendors. Now do them proud. Tile the floor with interesting art. Bring in different woods to give a homey feel. Get rid of that flea market vibe and make it alt art chic. You're a step away from greatness. You can do this. Reinvest in your structure.

Hands down - 100% the BEST sushi I've ever had in Michigan!…read more I was skeptical. I'm a sushi snob. Here's the real deal. The yellowtail can go toe-to-toe with any Vegas yellowtail. Same for the eel sashimi. That was excellent. I loved the salmon nigiri (they just call it salmon sushi). The superstar was the teriyaki tofu, which tasted a whole lot like agedashi tofu. I had two servings. There was a really good selection and nothing tasted old or fishy. More importantly the fish was actually raw! Every bit of sushi I've had up until now in Michigan has been lox (weird), imitation crab, or cooked. Now, don't get me wrong. There was still weird, but it was manageable weird, so let's talk about it. Eel roll was mostly strips of cucumber- a large, large portion of cucumber. So much cucumber. I did taste a bit of eel, but let's be honest. That was a cucumber roll. The spicy tuna was pale. That was different. I'm not used to that, and I got a little scared. It was... Ok. It had crunchies in it. The sashimi was aggressive. You get a chunk of fish. There you go. Enjoy your chunk. This is how we do it in Michigan. This restaurant is in the spot where the Old Country Buffet was. The decor has completely changed and it's not really bougie or elegant, but it is pretty. It's also very clean. It is also HUGE. That means you need to come here and take a seat. This really is exceptional food, and we want them to stay open. So go there. Right now. The dinner price is lunch price in Las Vegas. This is definitely a deal. Enjoy!
