The new owners are super duper nice. They were quick to take my order (over the phone), and quick for me to pay and get my food. The food was ready in the time promised. I ordered the general Tso's chicken combination plate, which comes with an egg roll and chicken fried rice. The fried rice served here is of the fragrant yellow variation, with carrots and peas and white/ light chicken pieces. My chicken came out crispy and saucy, with the sauce having a great flavor to it. It was a big portion for what I paid, which is always a bonus. There is some small seating (a table of four), plus chairs to wait for your order in case you choose to hang out. The young man taking my order was very kind and engaging. read more

I was searching through yelp looking for food that's actually worth my money. The photos were appealing, so decided to ordered over the phone. Very polite staff upon entering, the environment was clean and well put together. My food was being prepared when I arrived, which I appreciate. I paid $14, requested egg fried rice w/ out veggies instead of the chicken fried rice. It came with a vegetable eggroll, which was pretty generic. The orange chicken had robust flavoring, the rice was seasoned and properly cooked supposed to those spots that produce mush. If I could give this place zero stars I would. The worst Chinese food I have ever eaten. Oh, in fact, I didn't eat much, most went into the trash. The food was too greasy, and tasted old and stale. It doesn't matter if they cook it in front of you, if it's old musty leftovers, it will still taste like old musty leftovers. This was the place my wife and I would never argue if the question was asked, "Where are we going to eat?" This was her favorite place to get takeout every Friday night...and we did. Her go to every time was General Tso's Chicken. I would aways get full sweet and sour shrimp. The person behind the register looked young. They (both young man and woman) would have a big smile. I maybe appreciated it more because I noticed the books and other study materials. To do both and wait on customers expeditiously, with focus and charisma. I will never go anywhere else on Fridays. Nice family, never any real problems......However, ordered my normal combination platter of general's chicken and lo mein and a small order of wonton soup and the bill was $23! i've never paid that before, that's astronomical, tried to have a civil conversation, but was yelled at, so I just walked out and decided never to go back. The restaurant is under new ownership, a young family from New York City, and while the kids working the front are very sweet, the food is no way near as good as under the previous owners. I wish them success and hope that the new owners find their stride and the food improves. I am going to give them another try. read more

Once again doesn't look like much but I was looking for Chinese and since Covid the is little in Grand Blanc. This place was pretty good. Food was hot. EggDrop soup hit the spot for my wife and I grabbed Bread Lo-mien. We enjoyed the food. I wouldn't call it or go to yet but I will keep trying them. This appears to be carry out only. Moved to the area a few years ago. This is a hidden gem in Grand Blanc. Food is great and portions are very generous. While I did order ahead, some portions of my order were being made after I arrived, I didn't mind the short wait as I could watch how wonderful they were at preparing the meals. read more

This is a new place for us. Our other Chinese restaurant is no longer. Their Pandemic Take Away set-up was great! and the staff was kind. We ordered Chicken w Broccoli, Mongolian Chicken, and the Chef's Special Hunan Chicken and Shrimp. The food was delicious and well cooked. The seasonings were very good. We were really pleased. Food is average, not great, but not bad. I ordered twice this past week and realize you have to ask for condiments and fortune cookies. China jade does not have a website and apparently yelp provides photos of the menu. China Jade has a new menu, same items but higher prices. Our take-out order under the old menu would've been $34, under the new menu it was $52. I'm also not a fan of passing the food through a port hole in the door. Chinese food is subpar here. Refrain from ordering beef dish as it has a gooey texture and the taste isn't all their. The shrimp dish with snow peapod is ok but don't get the full veggies that come with it as it all doesn't blend well together. Not impressed with the food and especially the overall experience of getting my food. I felt as if I was getting food from a very unsafe area instead of Grand Blanc. Its 2022 why are we giving people their food through a small window outside of a thick Plexiglass door. I could barely use my credit card to pay. The sign on the Plexiglass recommended wearing a mask ..... Why I was forced to wait outside in the cold (this was January) for my food and we had 3 inches of a barrier between us. Not to mention the person on the other side was NOT wearing one. The food was OK nothing great or special. There is better Chinese food in Grand Blanc in which I don't feel like a criminal when I get my food. read more

The owners are our next-door neighbors and really good, honest, hard-working folks. We occasionally order out for our evening family meal and it's always a treat. I think this is one of the hidden gems in Grand Blanc. I say "hidden" because they are in the strip mall plaza in the middle of downtown Grand Blanc next to Sophia's Kitchen. From Saginaw St. China Jade was always behind the former gas station Citgo, but now that that building has been torn down you can see China Jade from the main road. We've talked to them and business has picked up since the Citgo building has been torn down and my hope is that people will realize that there is a quality Chinese takeout restaurant in Grand Blanc: China Jade. read more

We just moved into our house in Grand Blanc today and my husband had been craving Chinese food for a couple days now. He looked up a place and we ordered. I tried to get delivery, but we didn't have cash on hand and the lady said cash only for delivery, but we could use our credit card if did pick up. The price went down $1 for pick up. Here is what we ordered and how it was: * Won ton soup Thick won tons, very tasty broth. This one really hit the spot. * Mongolian beef This was a bit bland with a tiny bit of chili in it. Definitely not what I was hoping for with this dish. I won't order it again. * Sesame chicken Awesome and not spicy at all. Even our 2 year old daughter liked it. We are always extremely happy when our daughter likes the food enough to eat a lot of it. * Vegetable chow fun The consistently of the noodles was perfect. The flavor/seasoning could have used more flavor. Definitely a little bland, but I would give another one of their noodle dishes a try with maybe a meat instead of vegetables. Overall I would go back because everything was good even though a little bland and my daughter and husband both enjoyed the meal. We forgot to ask for chopsticks or silverware to eat with. We didn't have anything since our house is still empty. Luckily I found some plastic spoons and forks in the car. When I couldn't understand what the waitress was saying while placing my order, she got a major attitude, failed to tell me how long until my order was ready, or the price of the food and then proceeded to hang up on me without saying 'bye.' At this point I was already contemplating not picking up my order, but lucky for her, it was a Friday evening and I really wanted Chinese food. When I finally arrived 15 mins later, I walked up to the counter with my debit card out, to which (I presume was the same woman on the phone) the waitress walked away and started clearing pots and pans. (Not even close to closing time.) Finally, fed up, I asked if anyone was working here. She responded by rolling her eyes and saying "You have carry out? General pso?" At this point, I picked up my credit card and said "Nevermind, you can cancel my order." I refuse give money to an establishment that treats its patrons like that. I'll go down the street. Didn't know this place existed until I Googled "Grand Blanc Chinese." They let me switch out fried rice for white rice, and my egg roll for egg drop soup. I got the sesame chicken combo.. Much better than what I was expecting. This was some of the best Chinese take-out I've had. This place should advertise more! The egg drop soup was delicious... The only complaint I have is the fried noodles for the soup. I like the thin flaky ones, theirs were thick and bland.. But other than that; AMAZING :) :) read more

Good fried rice and egg rolls, but awful shrimp lo mein. I threw it out. This is a carry out restaurant. They have only one or two tables. Order at the counter and get the food to go. I was disappointed to learn it was not a bigger restaurant. It's fine for carry out, but nothing more. The inside cleanliness was also disappointing. Orders are completed fast, within 15 minutes or less, usually much less. It's not far from my home, so I do carry out here now and then, but it could be better if I'm being honest. read more
