First time was great. Second time....not so much. I only received ONE COAT of color polish. You're paying $15 for one coat is insane. And she did not put any cuticle oil when it was done nor did she put my flip flops on for me which is the least she could have done. This was my go to store but now I will not be returning.
The staff was great. We came because our usual spot was busy, and we didn't want to wait for another day. This place accommodated us last minute. Everyone was busy trying to clean up to close shop, but they didn't make us feel rushed. They didn't speed the process of doing our pedicures, and our toes look great. We will come back whenever our usual spot is not available. We are creatures of habit, and well, I do like my nail spot.
I was recommended to come to this shop by my aunt because I live down the hill here in West Covina, and she lives up there in hesperia and my gosh the drive was worth it. I called a day before to schedule an appointment for a manicure and pedicure. Pedicure: GEL + Service of Hot Stones (+$5) HOLLY was absolutely amazing. My gosh her hands and technique were amazing. I work and stand on my feet all day and the MASSAGES she does on your feet and calves etc I couldn't believe it. It's been a VERY LONG TIME since someone massages good and TAKES OUT EVERY INGROWN TOENAIL WITHOUT CUTTING ME! Absolutely amazing! Manicure: GEL TRUNG I believe mostly focuses on hands. He has rough hands but is VERY GENTLE when doing service. He literally cleaned ALL my cuticles and dead skin ( Mine was very bad since I'm always touching water for work) but he was also very fast. He cleaned my cuticles, he cleaned under my nails, shaped them and did an amazing ARM AND HAND MASSAGE! He literally did 5 mins each arm like deep tissue. The main person in charge usually who answers the phone too is helpful, great customer service to everyone inside the salon in general. I have not had a great experience like this in a very long time!! I definitely will be back and I definitely believe the drive up the hill will be worth it for this. I forgot the pricing but I paid 100 for my services. Mind you I got GEL, and I got a nail color that comes with a design $5 or $15 I don't remember. The halo graphics ON THE NAIL are HAND DONE with a metal thing, and I had the additional Hot Stones to my Pedicure. Thank you to the team at Royal Nails. I went Friday 10/13 @ 9:45am. By the time afternoon hit like around 11 phones were going crazy, last minute appointments, and walk ins. So best bet is to BOOK EARLY OR IN ADVANCE!!!
Mom and I walked into the salon and we were the only clients at this time. We both asked for mani-pedi. My manicure was powder and my moms was gel. The man doing my pedicure was very rude. Didn't really pay attention to detail. I had to fix my toes at home because there were painted so bad. The lady who did my manicure didn't even clean my cuticles. Like what? Moms mani and pedi came out looking great. Total was close to $200. What a rip. Won't be coming back. Oh yea Not even a week later my powder manicure was coming off.
Rushed through my service.. all of my nails were filed down into uneven squares, even though I told him to leave them long and as ovals. My french tip was blotchy on some nails and also uneven in thickness and shape. They're fine if you stare at them from far away but up close they're giving early 2000's, and definitely not what I wanted. lol don't try new places I guess.
Super happy with my first visit. Sonny was upfront about pricing, made sure I was happy every step of the manicure, and made helpful suggestions for maintaining nail health. I found the facility very clean, comfortable, and enhanced COVID protocols in place. Thank you for an excellent experience, Sonny!

Did a walk in with my mom and the place wasn't super packed. They started working on us immediately (it was my first time but my mom has come before). The service was great! I got a gel mani and regular pedi by Holly and she did a very meticulous job on both my hands and feet. Sonny did my nail design and it looks better than the picture that I showed him for the inspo. Overall a great place to go if you want to get your nails done for a quality experience. Thank you! read more

Once again, I have had nothing but great service and care at Royal Nails - Just had to give a shout out to Holly and Tina and the whole gang. It's so nice to be appreciated, too, and they always make me feel welcome. For the Christmas season, every regular (and even some irregular) customers received a lovely silk-screened scarf. It's not often a customer receives such a delightful thank-you - I try to reward my service-providers monetarily during Christmas and I know it's appreciated (they are in an industry that thrives on tips, after all!) - but to actually be given something so simple but meaningful was just, well, a lovely gesture that touched my heart. Walk-ins are always welcome but if you don't call in advance you may have to wait - but it's never long and every single person there is well-qualified to provide outstanding nail services from mani-pedis to acrylics and gels. Make sure you are calling the right number, too - (760) 949-0977 - and check the hours - they close at 7 pm most nights and even though I have pushed it by coming in at 6-ish ... they still get me in and out with gorgeous, rejuvenating pedis without making me feel rushed - when that happens I get the basic spa pedicure - but most frequently I choose the $35 spa pedi that is simply amazing - citrus rubs, hot stones, wax, lotions that smell divine and hot towel wraps - sooooo fantastic and relaxing. Worth the upgrade and the cost is less than most "basic" services at other salons. Can't wait to see the whole crew soon! read more

I called same day, and within the hour of my call I had an appointment scheduled to attend. Upon arrival I was greeted by many friendly people. The nail technician, Howie, was ready and waiting at the booth that I would be serviced at. He was friendly, quick and precise. Within 40 minutes my nails were ready :) The salon appeared clean, I loved how fresh it felt throughout the salon. I will definitely be returning back to this salon. read more

First time here, greeted by Sonny immediately got sat and had my pedi done by Holly and nails by Natalie. They're great!! I'm from San Diego, and they definitely give salons down there a good run for their money!!! I had the deluxe pedicure. Omg. It was amazing. They used fresh orange and lime slices along with scrubs!! My legs are silly smooth. It was phenomenal- all the places down south have deluxe pedis but none I've had like this. I was definitely impressed. My gel mani came with a cuticle cut down and a massage. They have an excellent selection of colors both gel and regular. I'm hooked. I know where I'll be coming back again for sure!! The other clients that I observed while here enjoyed their experiences as well- the staff is very friendly and they laugh a lot!! If you want excellent work done - be sure to check this place out!!! Went to different nail salon and explain how I wanted my nails, they gave me a hard time. I left them and came here instead. I have been here before and had a good experience. I explained how I want my nails and had a great time & customer service. Thank you for listening to want I wanted. Granted this is a week old job but it's the correct color which changed at different angles of light from purples blues and greens. read more

First time in. Sonny was super nice and did a great job. I wanted sort coffin with ombre. He did a mock up and all the pink and white powder he had. I picked 15b pink and super white. He made sure I liked them. He was a perfectionist. I finally found a great nail shop near me. read more

After reading the reviews I had to give this place a try! They were packed when we walked in but quick to finish the customers they had. I had gel nails done which cost $25 . I had Tina who was the sweetest little women. She made me laugh and recommend colors she thought would look good together. I will be going back to have my nails done from here from now on. read more

I recently moved to the HD. I was worried I wouldn't find a decent nail salon but after coming here, my mind is at ease. I have been here about 5 times now and have gotten full gel sets, pedicures and eyelash extensions. They do very good quality work and have really good customer service. Paul and Sonny always manage to squeeze me in their busiest days. I highly recommend this establishment. read more

My cousin recommended this place and I was a little sceptical because it was so cheap and in not the best of areas but I thought I'd give it a try. So glad I did! My full set was only 18.99 and they are awesome. The place it's clean. The people are professional,fast and nice great customer service. I would recommend making an appointment. I've been searching for a nail salon in the hd for the longest time and I never found anywhere that did my nails with the same amount of detail and precision that this place does. I always go to Tina and she always does a beautiful job! I've never had any complaints or concerns; my nails always come out looking better than the last time! I'm so in love with this shop it's the first shop in Victorville I haven't walked out of with an attitude because my nails were all messed up.. Sunny is a perfectionist and I love tht because I am too when it comes to my nails & toes.. I just recently moved out to Victorville after working here for a year and knew my way around a little bit, but I had yet to find a great nail place. So glad I found this one! Made an appointment for Saturday came in and got a fill with gel polish and a pedicure. Seriously best pedicure I have ever had love this place not expensive but does amazing work this is my go to nail salon I'm so happy I went here they really are such friendly people. I absolutely love a Royal Nails on Main Street. Howie, Paul, Sonny and Natalie always know exactly what I want. My nails are smooth, have the exact shape I ask for and they are super thin for that natural look. Their service is always A+++. The staff at Royal Nails always make me feel so comfortable and appreciated. In all honesty they are the best nail place in the High Desert! I went to this salon about 6 times I noticed on my last 2 visits that they were using the same files and drills on multiple people. I left there I had 2 nails break within a day, so I found a new nail salon. They took off my nails because she said it looked like I had a fungus growing under my nail and I did. I don't recommend this place, I filed a complaint with the Barber and salon commission. read more

I am very particular about my nails, I've always been pretty good at doing my own so if I'm gonna pay someone else to do them then they need to be good. This place is amazing. I just went for my 2nd pedicure in a month and haven't had a bad moment yet. Between my mom and I we've had Natalie, Tina, and Howie, all amazing at what they do. They're very professional, and so nice! Great prices too! This is our new place to go for all our spa needs. read more
