This is an updated review of this place since COVID. Since I am back in the high desert, this is my to go spot for nails. They are open for business, but by appointment only. Give the nail shop a phone call to schedule an appointment. It takes about 2 to 3 days in advance. I got mine done on the same day because i was lucky enough to take a spot of a cancelled appointment. I would usually get my nails done by Kim. She always does a great job on my nails and she is super sweet. Remember to support your local businesses! read more

The first time I went in for pedicure and a fill. The owner did a great job. They are nice people. Yesterday I was the first appointment of the day. He did my pedicure and scrubbed the skin off of my big toe, it started bleeding. He put alcohol on and blotted it. I had to ask for a bandaid. Needless to say I won't be going back. I'm going to my doctor today to get it checked out. read more

First time at this salon and i wouldn't go back .So I went to this place they are rude they talk their language among each other they don't know how to paint nails correctly my nails have all these air bubble and they would paint them until I paid ! The lady swore like just cause I'm Hispanic I was going to run or something . They got upset cause I wouldn't leave until my nails were to my expectations! Ummm hello if I'm going to pay someone to do a job I expect it to be done correctly the first time . Felt like I was treated this way cause I'm one of their normal clients smh . I gave this place 2 stars because the employees are very nice however they are very unsanitary. I got a manicure, pedicure, and eyebrow wax. The owner had her nephew do my feet they did not use liner in the bowl to soak my feet and they used a file and pumice stone that were both already used by previous customers. When he finish scrubbing my feet he rinsed the pumice stone in my dirty feet water and put the stone back in his tool drawer. He did a fine job on my pedicure besides the hygiene issues. He also started my hands however because he is clearly not licensed or professionally trained he cut my nails all he way down to the nub and did not get all the cuticle off. The owner Kim had to step in and had him stand over her shoulder and watch how she did the rest of my manicure. She only did 2 coats of polish which left the polish still slightly opaque and streaky but they turned out fine overall. Kim then did my eyebrow wax. I had witnessed her give another eyebrow wax to another guy before me and she used the same stick the whole time and stuck it back into the wax several times throughout his appointment and she did the same with me. Also, i noticed the lotion, acetone, and cuticle gel bottles were all covered in dust when they used them. Overall, the employees where very kind and talkative which was nice however they seriously lacked in the hygiene department and would benefit from refreshing their schooling and actually putting it to use in their salon and making sure all of their employees are properly trained. UPDATE: I originally gave this 2 stars however i am changing it to 1 star because my sister came with me to this appointment and also got a pedicure and ended up with athletes foot. The place was clean and big, the lady who did my nails was quiet and quick, but she still did a nice job. I got a French tip with glitter powder and it was 25$. I'm only bringing the rating down so much because when they were rude at the time to pay. The lady wasn't even finished with my nails when she asked for the money. I told her once my nails were dry I would give it to her. She said ok. A couple mins later the guy approaches me and demands money. He takes the credit card from my wallet and swipes it. So much distrust in their customers. I found it very rude and It left me with a sour experience. Very unlikely to be coming back. read more

I have been coming here for over 10 years off and on, they are a simply nail shop. Today I went in to get a fill from another shop and like always Hurley fixed and filled my nails, he did a great job even though hadn't done coffin/ballerina nails before. He dosnt rush you and always asks if I'm satisfied with his work. They don't really do all the trends when it comes to nail art and nail work, but if you ask they will try to accommodate you. And hurley's wife can wax eye brows like nobody's business, if you know what shape you want she can hook you up. read more

I'm the picky girl who goes to a specific nail shop and request a specific nail tech. However, I was away from home and decided to check the photos and reviews of local shops. I took a chance on this once and now I'm considering traveling an hour and a half every two weeks to get my nails done here. The employees were nice. Usually when you arrive half an hour before closing you're being rushed, but the male tech to his time filling and polishing my nails. He also made polite conversation as well. This place is a definite go to. Must I add that I know how to do acrylic nails myself being a licensed cosmetologist so I'm certain what I'm looking for. read more
