I told her several different times that I wasn't there for acrylics. It was pretty obvious by the length of my nails that I wanted to keep my natural nails. I honestly think she did it on purpose, hoping I'd change my mind after she'd already cut them off and let her do a $60+ acrylic service instead. I can't prove it, but that was definitely the vibe I got since she just kept trying to push acrylics. I should have just been patient and gone to my nail lady in Orange County. Instead, I left with extremely short nails because she couldn't just listen. On top of that, I was told the wait for a walk-in would be 10-15 minutes. I ended up waiting 30 minutes. I don't mind waiting, but just be transparent about the wait time so customers know what to expect. Regardless of her pushing acrylics and basically ruining my natural nails, I still got the exact service I originally asked for. So no, she didn't get the $60+ acrylic service, and she didn't get a tip either. Listen to the customer instead of just doing what you want. If someone says they want to keep their natural nails, respect that. Customers are coming to you for a service they requested, not for you to decide what you think they should get. I'll never come here again.

They don't accept walk-ins because they are booked months out in advance with their regular/loyal clients. So the only way in is by referral from an existing client, and even then I still had wait a month until my appointment. I eventually got in and I had zero complaints. I was so satisfied with my nails. Trang was so pleasant, she really nails ever design I show her. The quality of my nails are exceptional, I go 3 to 4wks with no lifting and no missing stones. I love that she doesn't take hours on me and is done with in a reasonably time. Her prices are spot on to the quality of work and product she offers. Her studio is clean and intimate. It's never overwhelming or over booked. She really takes her time with each client to offer the best quality service. Her sister Nancy is amazing to and marissa pedicure are very relaxing. I requested a regular pedicure with black French tips and no gel. After the service was completed, I noticed that the black tips appeared faded and looked more gray than black. Since I was unhappy with the finished result, I politely asked if my nails could simply be painted completely black instead. At that point, a male employee who identified himself as the owner became involved and told me I would have to pay an additional charge because I should have said something before the technician finished. However, I explained that I could not have known I was unhappy with the final appearance until I was able to see the completed result. Rather than trying to resolve the situation professionally, the conversation became argumentative and uncomfortable. When I stated that I would not be returning to the salon, his response was, "Good, don't come back." I understand that businesses have policies regarding additional services or changes, and I respect that. My concern is not simply about being asked to pay an additional charge; it is about the way the situation was handled. As a customer, I believe concerns should be addressed respectfully and professionally, especially by someone representing themselves as the owner. Good customer service can make all the difference when resolving a misunderstanding or dissatisfaction with a service. Unfortunately, based on the way I was treated, I would not recommend this salon and I will not be returning. I ended up tipping the technician because it wasn't her fault.
