Last time to ever come. It's been 5 days and one nail completely popped off. When the lady was doing my nails I specifically told her that it would fall , it felt loose and she said no that she knew what she was doing. Here I am 5 days later and when coming to get it fixed, the owner completely rude said I'm super busy your going to have to wait I don't know how long. Hoping to get it fixed and never come back. This place is terrible, my wife came in hopping for quality nails and they did a horrible paint job and the nails were uneven, and then when she told them they didn't look good they gaslighted her and said "they look good" and when we finally convinced them to give us a refund they insisted that they needed to remove the nails for a refund, honestly I've seen 5 year olds paint nails better. read more

I've been coming here for over 15 years with zero problems. If there was something I didn't like (maybe a crooked nail), I held my tongue because I enjoyed the location and it usually wasn't too important. Today I got the courage to speak up about my nails being too short (before any powder was applied) so that they could be fixed without issue. The nail tech sighed and acted like she was being inconvenienced, told me that would take extra time and was going to charge me extra. I was actually taken aback, expressed my frustration respectfully, and told her never mind. She continued to grind my tips of my fingers with her nail file because my nails were THAT short. I was still charged $55 for barely there nails. I reported the incident to the owner with tears in my eyes and she only apologized and sent me on my way. I am tired of being nickeled and dimed at this location and will be taking my hard earned money somewhere I'm appreciated as a customer. read more

The woman doing my nails didn't understand what I wanted done so she called over her mother who sat there tugging on my fingers aggressively and rolling her eyes at me when I spoke. They charge you for things like polish without telling you, and the two woman I had my nails done were rude and rough with my fingers. I've been getting my nails done by Hanna & Jacky for over 5 years now. They never disappoint me. They are super clean, have a wide variety of polish (gel & regular to match which I love!). My entire, literally entire family goes to Hot Nails. I love the patience they have when taking care of my mom as well. My daughter is extremely pleased that they allowed her to get the bow on her gel nails. We usually go to another nail salon and They will not let her get the bows added. They never explain why, they just say no. The blue nail polish with the white polka dots is absolutely awesome. read more

If you go here don't let this woman (Hannah, better known as the owner) pick at your toe nails (on the side particularly) during a pedicure because she kept going at the big toe on the left side with a knife/clipper trying to dig out a piece of the nail directly under my toe nail and saying, "oh look" as she picked out pieces of my toe nail. Well I had normal looking nails prior and 2 months after wards my nail starting growing out with fungus, a year later the upper 1/2 of my toe nail grows out with fungus. It's gross!! She also coincidentally tried to sell me her brand of fungus cream during these pedicures (I went 10 times total and left a huge tip each time for me a two other people going at the same time), referring to my toe nails having fungus, but my nails were clear and nice. Don't go there ,I took my wife there to get a pedicure the chemicals they use gave her a third degree burn my wife kept telling her that it's burning and the lady was saying it's okay it'll go away so my wife just sucked it up but then when she came home she couldn't even walk we went back the next day to see if there was anything we could do to neutralize the burn and the owner very rude and condescending insinuated that my wife is a baby and that it's normal for it to hurt even though she has had many would never not have a pain like this , I'll just take it to the emergency room i said and she said go ahead send me the bill I don't care very rude especially since we went in there and good faith with no attitude and to be treated like that is very disrespectful, so we went to the doctor and the doctor said that the chemicals that they used on her are too strong and they should have been removed in a matter of seconds she left them on there for minutes anyways we didn't bother taking the bill we don't ever want to see her again don't let it happen to you stay away because if something happens to you she's just going to be rude to you too. read more

Did I go to the wrong Hot Nails?! Called and made an appt. for a mani/pedi and was quoted $27, which I thought was great considering the time and attention the other reviewers said they received. It has been a while and I'm super pregnant so I really couldn't wait to treat myself. I'm not sure I've ever been more disappointed with a manicure and pedicure, though. The whole thing was so lackluster. The massage (I don't even want to call it that) was literally just one-minutes-worth of the tech unenthusiastically rubbing lotion on my legs and the buffing of my heels, etc. did absolutely nothing as my feet are still summertime-rough. It's sad when the best part of the experience is the massage chair and the crappy tv shows. For the manicure and pedicure I was out of there in one hour flat. Not very luxurious. On top of that my bill at the end was $37. $5 extra for my toenail "design" (polka dots is nail design?) and another $5 for asking for my natural fingernails to be buffed instead of polished. Seriously? I was expecting a couple bucks maybe for the nail art, but $5 plus $5 for buffing instead of polish? Kind of ridiculous, I think. Also, it would have been nice if they would have informed me of the costs when I asked for those services. Say something nice? Hmm... well, my toenails ended up being painted how I wanted so that's something, I guess. I will never go back here. It didn't seem especially clean and the polish selection had seen better days -- at least I hope. I'll keep going to Star Nails until I find a decent place closer to my house. read more
