This place has gone down in the last year or so. They aren't even using sterile instruments for pedicures, it's dirtier, outdated, and has an over turn constantly with the workers. My pedicure wasn't good, they just don't care like they used to. I won't be back. read more

I have been coming here for years. It is my regular nail salon. The owners are so kind. Tim does a great pedicure. They don't always accept walk ins depending on how busy they are so I always call ahead to make sure they can take me or to make a same day appointment. I made an appointment with Julie a couple of times. The first time I was 10 minutes late for the appointment and when I arrived Julie was working on another client. I was told loudly by the lady at the front counter that Julie started on someone else because I was LATE. I was embarrassed but let it go because she was right. I was late. I apologized and I made sure to be on time for my next 2 appointments. On my 3rd and LAST appointment I will ever make at this salon, I got there exactly on time. When I got there Julie was again working on another client. Nobody greeted me or gave me any kind of explanation. I sat and waited for 30 minutes past my appointment and left. I have no issue whatsoever paying for a QUALITY pedicure. That being said, I paid $77 only to have half the gel/polish FALL OFF one toe under 24 hours later. ALL the employees are above and beyond with their customer service and professionalism when it comes to do your nails. I NEVER write reviews.. but this place was absolutely HORRIBLE!!!!!! I will give credit when it's do it was clean, wait time was little to none which is great; but the customer service and quality of the nails is literally ABSURD. I was sat down and when I was I explained exactly what I wanted to the T and specifically said multiple times I don't want ANYTHING on my toe nail that is barely growing back because it's still so raw. She insisted I get a tip and acrylic and I kept saying no please. No filing, no gel, no nothing please. She got an attitude and still CONTINUED to file the rest of the toe nail I had down and put gel on it until I spoke loudly at her. "I said please nothing on it PLEASE, it's too short and raw". She rolled her eyes and mumbled something under her breath. I showed her my nails and asked for the color I had and she pulled out something similar to it but lighter but I just let it be. I told her I wanted thick French tip, she again, copped an attitude and made them thin so I just let it go and let it go until I asked her nicely again "can I please have thick French tip" my fiance was on the phone when this occurred and heard me, on top of that she also heard the lady yell at me and say "It is!" I finally just let it go and let whatever be done done.. I always tip especially considering I am also in customer service and I LIVE off of my tips, this time I did not because not only was this lady so rude and it was bad customer service but she rushed through the whole process and my toes came out so bad and it really made me sad. They weren't cured right and we're still wet they had no proper shaping and the French tips looked all so different; she didn't even care to clean anything up. I asked for a receipt and was told I couldn't have one. I will NEVER come back here and I recommend you don't either. I'm usually a push over and very kind and quiet but this crap was RIDICULOUS. I hate to give a bad review but I guess I owe it to consumers to be honest. I went to Angel Spa 6 months ago for my first ever pedicure and the guy was precise and gentle and fixed my toes with no problem. Last week I had a foot doctor appointment coming up so I went back to this place to get my toes in good shape for the doc. It was a different guy doing the pedicure this time and he was not gentle or precise and sliced into the meat of my big toe next to nail. It hurt like heck but I thought maybe that's just something that happens sometimes during pedicure. But then it wouldn't stop bleeding and then poured acetone on it, and 3 employees came to look at it and discussed but I don't know what they said. Finally they bandaged it up with a big ball of cotton and it stopped bleeding. The pedicure was supposed to cost $40 and I have no idea if that's a reasonable price. I gave the guy a $15 tip, and again I have no idea if that's the right amount. I gave him a tip because I thought maybe it was just a mistake and I didn't realize this was going to turn into a big thing. Also I tip out of guilt for some reason and I have to stop doing that. The tech said sorry and he said it was a good thing he cleared the dead skin. But if I'm being honest, I think something more than clearing dead skin happened that day. Anyway, the employees talked in a language I couldn't understand, and when I went to pay the cashier she charged me $25. So, I think basically they discounted the cost by the amount of the tip. I'm curious whether the technician kept the $15 of if he had to give it back to the store owner. Anyway... after a few hours it wasn't very painful anymore but it was all scabbed up. So I went to the foot doctor two days later and underneath the toenail the skin was dark blue. The nurse warned me I need to soak in Epsom salt 3 times and day and pour iodine on it, otherwise it will turn into a big mess. Well, I did that, but now it's a week later and the nurse was right... I have a big mess. My big toe won't bend because it's all swollen up and presumably infected and it hurts like heck. The first appointment available at Kaiser is 2 months from now. But Kaiser does have an option where you can see a nurse practitioner in a local Target store. That would've worked except the first appointment available at Target is 3 weeks from now. I guess I'm headed off to hang out with a room full of sick people for 4 hours at Kaiser urgent care clinic. I like to support small/local business and I feel bad giving a 1-star review, but this really is alot more time and trouble than it's worth. I kind of like the idea of going to a pro and getting things done right, but it turns out I will have to manage my own toes from now on because I don't have confidence in the professionals. read more

Went in today for some birthday pampering, they charged me $94 for a gel mani and basic gel pedi. Super overpriced! I get the same thing done at a different salon for $80. When I got home I noticed that they only did one coat of polish on my toes so the color is splotchy and uneven. I asked for a little glitter on my big toe at the cuticle and featherd up towards the tip and instead he just clumped the glitter at the base and left it. Accidentally booked the wrong nail salon but the reviews were good so I thought I'd give it a go. I went an hour before closing (had an appointment) and it was pretty booked. Definitely not 6 feet of distance between people but I had my N95 so I wasn't too worried. Environment was nice & I didn't have to wait long. However, the guy who did my pedicure did not do a good job at shaping my nails. When I got to my car and looked at my foot I was shocked. Additionally, there was some trash in the cup holder of my chair, meaning that it definitely wasn't wiped down after the last person was there. So yeah, I won't be back. It was near closing time but this is still unacceptable. Sad. read more

Was not worth the $50. My 11 year old daughter does a better job than the guy that did my pedicure. The massage chair was good though. That was the best part. Thank god the water was cold because it was a sauna in there! Mage and appointment and had to wait a while not to long but just something worth mentioning. I have a place I go to regularly, but was on this side of town and wanted to try Angel Spa and Nails. I did like that the place was clean and she did good on my overlay gel manicure, but they started getting busy and at the end of my service, she tapped my hands and said, "okay, have a good day." I gave 3 stars because, it was $45 which is $10 more ($35 anywhere else I've gone) and I didn't even get the wipe down of my hands and arms with the warm towel or the lotion and massage at the end. I left with my hands feeling grainy and super dry. Hopefully, if I come back, it'll be better and not rushed towards the end. read more

I searched for week before I decided to come to Angel Spa and Nail. I had an appointment to get an acrylic full set fill with gel and a pedicure. I was so disappointed when I showed both the lady in the front desk and the pedicurist the color I wanted and they both dismissed me saying they had nothing like that color. I finally settled for a color that I was not sure about, I asked her to try it first instead she proceeded to paint my nails so quickly I had no tine to stop her! When she got to the 4th toe nail, I told her i wasn't super happy with the color she then continued to paint the rest and dismissed me. I honestly did not want to have her redo them so I let it go. Then when it came to my manicurist, the real nightmare began. She let me know one of my acrylic nails was broken so she would have to change it, I agreed. Then all of a sudden she starts pulling off a second nail which was completely stuck to my real nail causing her to rip off almost my entire real nail off!! I yelped telling her she was hurting me yet she continued until my whole finger was bleeding. No apology was made. It was so painful. Then when she shaped them, I had a few crooked and lopsided ones, when I told her if she could please fix them her answer was "they are fine". It continues... When it came to my color she was persistent about using the same color as my toes. I kindly told her I wanted nude, she kept trying to do pink, I told her about 3 times before she got up huffing and puffing and found a nude. The polish itself was not itself horrible, but it was not done carefully nor all the way. First off, I just moved here recently and I wanted to do my nails so I was looking online and I found this salon, I'm giving this a one star because to begin with the (lady with glasses) she was doing fine from the start until I told her that my nail is crooked, kindly, I know the shape of my nails and I know how they're built, but she kept insisting that it's my "nail" and other salons I've been to have never made them crooked, secondly she asked if the shortness is okay and I told her it's fine but started cutting the nails rushingly and ended up making it shorter from what I asked. Not only did she rush , she didn't measure each of them to see if they're all shaped equally,I know it doesn't have to be perfect but cmon. I know mistakes happen I understand but she was careless, she ended up messing up on one of my thumbs, one nail was shorter, she noticed and started yanking off the gel x from my finger!! while it was already glued on!!! Thirdly, she didn't bother asking what color base I wanted for the nail and just started polishing, as well as only did one layer of nail polish, she didn't bother blending the base of the nail or add more layers. normally, I'm not a person who makes complaints but the service was ridiculous, personally I wouldn't recommend. When I walked in I didn't feel too comfortable, but seeing that I just moved up here I really don't have much choice but to start trying out new places. My pedicure was fine nothing negative really about it. When I went to do my nails the young girl that did my nails was really nice and she did do a good job but I don't know what she used on my nails??? I could not get them off!!! I soaked them in acetone for over 25 minutes and all it did was hardened the acrylic, my nail lady down the hill ended up having to remove the rest of the nails and to this day I still don't know what was used on my fingernails. read more

Ok so this salon is the best one I've been to in the Hesperia/ apple valley area. I moved up here in 2020 and struggled to find a place I really liked. Since the first time I tried them, I have not been let down. Amy is superb at what she does. She always comes through and does a magnificent job.
