I came in for a gel manicure and regular pedicure Tuesday afternoon. By Tuesday night I noticed the gel polish was on thick side of application to the point where they look bubbly. I called the nail salon early the next morning notifying them of the issue and if they can call me back or if I can come in Thursday. No call back was received and by end of day Thursday my gel polish began lifting. It is now day 3 and about half of my nails polish has chipped or lifted. I would have just gotten a regular manicure if I knew the gel polish wouldn't last even till the weekend for my event. I was trying this place out for the first time so this is unfortunate. I think the pictures say it all. I got acrylic on my big toes I wanted them square, they aren't even the same shape. She cut me on my big toe. I noticed she was trying to shape my toe nails but couldn't and it was because that file was so dam old :( now I feel like I'm going to get an infection in my toe. I've been here before and I never noticed them not being sanitary but this time I KNOW nothing was sanitized. From the implements to the file she used. I should've just left that's my fault for not doing so. The older lady was nice and she tried her best to fix them but this is the result of her fixing them they looked worse. I was a walk in and was sat right away, cool. She got right to it and glued on the tips. Not once after cutting did she make sure my tips were even. The file was rough and hurt my nail beds. Also she reused a file and just polished it with another file. I asked for a nude pink which I got but only one coat of before she put the clear coat. Felt very rushed and was charged 50! That's absolutely disgusting to have poor service AND tacky nails. Literally sticky because it wasn't cured. Absolutely not worth coming here anymore. I went in for a pedicure i paid $65 for my toes i did not notice how thick they were went she put on the lil flip flops they give u i get home see them and call the owner says u should have said something explained i did not notice the thickness i went in to get it fixed today i go in and get a short wait 10 min im trying to explain to husband what i want fixed and for him to look at it so he can explain because their is obviously a language barrier he says tell her she understands with attitude i say i told her yesterday 3x and she did not fix it i ask him to look at the work she did and he did not bother to look and instead says oh i dont do powder i dont do acrylic .... Point is this all goes to bad management and them not caring if you know ur employees have a language barrier plz help management (owners) sucks! I typically really like this place. The owners are always really nice and I can almost always walk in. But the last two times I've gone I've had issues. Most recently after I've gone my big toe was in so much pain that it hurt to walk for days. The girl really dug into my toe. It was throbbing, red, swollen, and there was even puss. I walked in on a Friday around 6pm without an appointment and I thought they would turn me away, but they were able to fit me in and I didn't even have to wait. First, I want to say this place was great. It was busy, but I got seated and helped right away. Everyone was SO nice and very helpful. I'm not sure who it was that helped me, but she was great! I went in to get a fill, because I needed one quick, and I had black powder on my nails (which made it harder for light colors to cover it) so she helped me find a good dark color that would cover the black good without looking bad. She did my fill good, had good conversation, and was very sweet. The only downfall I will have to say is they are pretty pricey. I paid $36 for a gel Fill! Ok I love the staff well only two Steve and Tiffany soo nice and seem to have a good relationship with their customers.. (they didn't do my nails) I don't know the name of the lady who did my nails or the man who did the shape of my toe nails.. Steven did my pedicure but he didn't do the shape as I wanted acrylic on my toe because the corner of my toe nail had broke off and I wanted it to be SQUARED! Well the guy who came to do the acrylic over lay cut my toe nail short and only coated the nail with acrylic and as you can see my toe nail is not square at all! And it looks soo ugly! As for the lady who did my nails.. OMG!! Middle finger on one hand is soo crooked and the pinky on the other hand is too!! I hate it.. and I hate more how she pretended she didn't see how crooked it is. Anyway she was also really messy left residue all over my fingers and under my finger nail! So far after 10 minutes of waiting finally got acknowledged. Upside of that I got seen two minutes after that!! They don't have a front receptionist so it feels a bit disorganized. So first off is like to say the customer service was amazing. I took my little cousins in for a pedi and they adored it. On my pedi the other hand. Not the best. Especially for being charged the maximum without even asking which pedicure I'd like. My total for a pedi with gel, acrylic on two large toes, two princess pedis was $86. How? I'm not sure but I paid with no problem. I should have asked which pedi I received since I was never asked which I wanted. The woman who filed my toes cut in pretty deep but unfortunately the woman who applied my gel did a little too much. My gel is over my nails and on my skin. Now only a few hours after it's already peeled from my toes. I had a great experience but for a $52 pedi I'd hope it last at least 24 hours UPDATE:: If you get acrylic on your toes, be sure to get tips, AND THAT YOU ARE HEARD. I asked for tips and acrylic on my big toes as usual. Not sure if the older woman chose not to hear, couldn't, or if they were not in stock. But only acrylic was used on my toes and was incredibly thick and square. I asked for them to be filed down and first pic was end result. Fast forward to my next pedi and I'm told the acrylic is much too thick for removal. So I wait. No luck on my 2nd pedi either. Now I'm at my usual salon on my 3rd attempt due to incredible pain whenever I wear shoes. And I find bruises an infected toe, and still not able to remove the complete acrylic.
