Unprofessional (swore multiple times, ignored me and my concerns) and will leave you hanging. It may have taken several months, but I must say, that the way they handled it in the end was very professional and I am blown away by the effort they put in the end to make sure I was satisfied. They we're very humble and apologetic, didn't mention the negative review at all (and when I brought it up they said they totally understood if I wanted to leave it up), sent me a check for the cost of the repair, a nice letter apologizing for the situation, and a large discount on my next move if I were to use them again. Some might say they obviously did all this for me to change the review below, despite them insisting otherwise. But even if that's the case, who cares!? They did right by me in the end. I will now gladly use them again, and the story I tell of Rockline will be one of redemption and not deception.

The cost was $65 per hour for 2 movers. They would meet at the address and follow me to my next location. The invoice states $2 hour minimum. On 09/29/20 the movers show to my apartment at 3pm, and load into a Ford Transit van. We bubble wrapped and plastic furniture wrapped the Tv's, mattress, and mirrored console in front of the movers. The movers were the eyewitness to no physical damage. One piece was a mirrored desk that was bubble wrapped and secured in front of them. When the mover, Bali, unloaded it from the truck at 4:05pm he did not pick it up, but dragged it off the truck and cracked the mirror down the front leg of the furniture. I called the phone number at 8 pm and Bali answered. I explained the damage done to my desk and he said I could not prove it. I sent him 2 videos showing where he cracked the furniture. He asked how much it cost, and I texted him $150 at Home Goods. He offered me $30 to cash app via text. Bali explained that he had to consider depreciation, then later said to call and speak to Nicki the next morning. When I called 9/30/20 at 8am, I was put in call block. It went to unknown voicemail of a Google Subscriber. I sent out an email to altmovehelpers@gmail.com and no response. I called over 6 times from my office phone number before Nicki answered and was very hostile. She blamed all the damage on me, said I was wrong for not renting a UHAUL truck, and said she was stressed out from her kids online schooling. She said I had no proof and when I offered to send the video footage, she refused to look at it. She also blamed that I was looked for a "free move" and trying to scam her business. Nicki did not specify the type of vehicle needed or any requirements for the move. I explained there were 5 other all glass pieces on the truck and that was the ONLY one damaged. It was broken because of how it was handled. Hypothetically, If the drive were to damage the furniture all pieces would have been damaged. (We did not drive over any pit holes or speed bumps). I explained I tipped the movers $45 in cash and that I would never try and scam a BLACK moving company. She said she did not want to argue with me and offered 60% of the $150 furniture. I agreed and she said Bali would have to Cash App the money to me in the afternoon. I still have not received the money from Bali and they have placed my phone number in call block. They took my cash, broke my furniture, and RAN! Truly a nightmare! I would have rather moved everything myself even if it took me a month! Beware of companies that steal your cash and run. Please avoid this business and if you must pay a mover, find one that is licensed, bonded, and insured. Always pay with a credit card. The two men did a great job handling our items and making sure that they got to their destinations. They were very professional, patient, and helpful. We paid about $600 for the service & we were very pleased with the price because movers are usually more than that. The items were placed in their correct areas and everything came in their condition it was before the move (so far, that I've seen). The movers were very friendly and had great communication. My husband did help with some items because he's particular about things but he didn't mind. I'd also like to note for everyone to remember that movers are still people and not machines. They deserve respect and care as well. I asked them if they wanted food (primarily my husband) and he offered to them as well and they took a break (off the clock) and then they were done shortly after that. In my opinion, this company is dishonest and unprofessional, which made my moving experience profoundly frustrating. Tony presented himself as a hardworking family man, accompanied by his young sons, which made me believe that I was supporting a respectable, small family business. However, the trust I placed in him was misplaced. Despite moving just three blocks, from 8th and Juniper to 5th and Juniper, the experience was a nightmare. The team Tony brought was inexperienced and careless, which resulted in the breakage and damage of belongings worth thousands of dollars. It was not just the monetary loss, but also the sentimental value of these items that added to the distress. Moreover, the team was inefficient and took significantly longer than promised, showing a lack of motivation and professionalism. This inefficiency was frustrating and resulted in additional stress and inconvenience. Adding to the dishonesty, Tony claimed to own two trucks, including one large enough for my entire apartment. However, he showed up with a rented U-Haul truck, which was completely unprepared for the task at hand. In conclusion, I regret choosing CCE Express for my move, and I urge anyone considering this company to rethink their choice. In my opinion, CCE Express, under Tony's management, lacks integrity, professionalism, and basic competence. Tony promised to fix/replace all of the broken/damaged items. The move was August 31st. It is now November 14th and not a single item has been fixed or replaced.
