He never pressured me to replace them, but I decided since the old ones were 36 years old and we had substantial tree growth into the fields, I would just start fresh again. Steven called me Monday to advise me he was wrapping up a previously scheduled appointment and would text me an ETA for arrival. Upon his arrival he assessed the issue, and we discussed repair options. The job was fully completed next business day. Through the entire process, Steven was so kind to text me as I was explained with working from home I would be on calls and in virtual meetings. Steven thoroughly explained the work he was performing throughout. We give them a 0+++++ RATING. PLEASE DO NOT USE A COMPANY NAMED/CALLED "DRAINWORKS SEPTIC SOLUTION" for your Septic needs. Please note, this is not a roast; instead on story...... We guarantee if you do, you will be out of more money messing with this company and still must find a "REAL" certified company to bring your septic system up to code - they simply, are scammers without a doubt with only mendacity in mind. Sad to say, they did not do one (1) thing to code while working on our property. We are considering looking into legal action as well. What they performed was all incorrect and other Septic Professionals didn't even want to correct their work (mistakes), this caused us even more money, ridiculous. We didn't want to believe the reviews about Josh and wife (supposably) Jennifer, even though we felt the comments was true, just trying to make ends meet, low on funds - we were hoping for the best; but instead, a nightmare begin and we are still trying to wake up. Cashapp declined to send the money as potential scam "should have known then" I share this info then they want me to send it through Zelle to some other person's name/account. Like a dummy sent 1000.00 to them. The guys sent dig up the tank, drop the lid into the tank then fail to get it flowing. Tell me they will pay to replace the lid. Monday rolls around and no word as they claimed they would be back early in the morning. i try calling and get told to text. I texted and ghosted the entire day! I called another company, and they came out only to inform us the problem is much bigger than informed. Had to pay 4k for a full dig up, pipe and baffle replacement along with new lids since they were dropped and broken. Tuesday i texted and got told they would call me in an hour. Then ghosted again. Then nothing until his sub-contractors shows up and we tell them the work is done and that their boss had ghosted us so we had no choice but to call another company. He calls and starts claiming he was out of town on vacation. Can't text back?? Blames the sub-contractor for all the miscommunication????? Sub-contractor shows and i tell them to call the owner and tell him to call us we want a partial refund "willing to eat 500 for them digging it up. Calls and says "check is in the mail" no discussion on price of refund or anything oh and it should arrive tomorrow! We just told his sub-contractor the day before. I tell him at this point based on the reviews we found that i did not believe him. that was Thursday Jan 30. Here we are now on 2/16/2025 and no check, no call. And oh, according to the guys working for him, HE LIVES IN NEW MEXICO! His sub-contractors said they felt that was total BS he blames them. I have since filed a police report and provided the text and call logs to the individual along with the many complaints here and other sites about their business practices and scamming . There is at least one complaint stating their insurance and license are fake. Oh, and don't try to go to the address listed there is no company there "it's a body shop" check the pictures for information on their profile, call the number listed on the truck and it is dead. The reason I…read morecalled them was because my bathroom had smelled a bit like sewer the last two days and then the morning I called them, the shower wasn't draining as quickly as it had. The last time we had the tank pump was 5 years ago so I figured that's what it needed. They have this bait and switch scam where they tell you it's going to be $485 to pump it but then they show up and they tell you there's an over full fee of $200 and if you happen to have any Kleenex or wipes in your septic system they charge you another $150 trash fee. So by the time you get your septic tank cleaned out it could cost you almost $1,000! They advertise $485 to get you in the door but then they jack up the price with extras. You're better off just to pay a competitor $600 and not get up charged at all. They will do everything for $600 and not add on charges. Ridiculous things. There are a lot of septic tank companies in the Atlanta and Douglasville area. Before hiring this company, please get a few estimates and don't fall for there their price. Gimmick to get them on your property. EDIT TO RESPOND TO OWNER'S COMMENT: Has there ever been a routine? $485 pumping? I can almost guarantee the answer to that question is no. You use the $485 to get people to let you come on to their property. Once you're on their property you have a $285 cancellation fee if they reject your up charges and high pricing. You've got this scam really well figured out and I hope future customers understand what you're doing. It's very obvious. In the future I will just go with the middle priced septic guy and if they try to up charge me with trash fees or digging fees or over full fees I will tell them no thank you and call the next person. I think it's very shady what you're doing with this bait and switch pricing tactic. The only reason you gave me a $50 discount is because I told you that I would have to get some more price quotes from other companies before I committed to the ​high price with the upcharges. Only then did you quickly offer me a $50 discount. I knew if I didn't accept the offer and turned him away, I would end up paying your $285 cancellation fee. So yeah you guys are cheesy as heck and it's really sad. You should be reported to the better Business bureau and probably criminally as well.

The 2nd time I've had a septic tank pumped so I went into this somewhat naively. Guys showed up 3…read morehours early; will admit that they were courteous. Full disclosure: I haven't had the septic tank pumped in 10+ years so I knew there might be issues. They quoted me $495 but upon arrival I could see a possible bait & switch building up. 1st, no riser so that would cost me extra (doubling the price). By the time they lifted the cover off the tank it had become a major catastrophe -- they told me it needed all sorts of extra work lest I need to have a new drain field put in, etc. etc. So to make things right they said $2,950 (6x the quote) to complete the pumping, back pump field lines and add a rear T baffle. I probably have more $ than brains so I told them to get it done. If you plan to use them I would suggest to ask them all of the possible upcharges that may be tacked on once they are on-site.
