I had a dripping hose bib and couldn't unscrew the valve. I found Plumbing Express on Yelp and decided to give them a call. A plumber was available that afternoon, so I was happy to take the appointment. The technician (Mark C.) arrived promptly and assessed the situation. He also concluded the valve needed replaced. He offered a couple options ("better" and "best") and I made my choice. He did the work professionally, and took care to tack up some plastic to protect my walls near the service area. A short time later with the work completed, he reviewed it with me to make sure I was satisfied - I was. This wasn't the most complicated repair, but access to the plumbing was tight and I needed an experienced technician to just solve it. Marc from Plumbing Express did just that. read more

TLDR: I would not hire this company. Not only am I very disappointed with the diagnosis process and the repair that did not address the issue that I called them for but also with the failure of their management to address my concerns. I called Plumbing Express to investigate and resolve a water leak in my kitchen ceiling. The leak was directly below my master bathroom toilet, which my sister and I had already narrowed down by tapping on the kitchen ceiling downstairs while listening upstairs, where the sound was clearly strongest near the master bathroom toilet. The technician briefly inspected both bathrooms but focused on my sister's bathroom on the opposite side of the house after noticing a damp sponge under the toilet tank. My sister explained the sponge was there because she sprays and cleans the toilet regularly, not because of a leak. The plumber then cut open the kitchen ceiling drywall, stated the leak was coming from the water supply line from my sister's toilet, and performed a complete toilet tank rebuild for $450. After the repair, he gave me a card for a company that performs restorations and recommended I call them to inspect for subfloor damage. When that restoration company arrived, they immediately stated there was no way the ceiling leak could have originated from the secondary bathroom because of the location and no evidence of water stains. They recommended another plumber and a leak detection company come out to find the leak before they performed any work. I contacted a second plumber, who agreed the leak was much more likely connected to the master bathroom toilet directly above the leak area. Finally, I hired a leak detection company, and they also confirmed the leak aligned with the master bathroom location, not the secondary bathroom Plumbing Express repaired. At this point, three separate professionals have stated the leak could not have originated from the bathroom Plumbing Express serviced. I paid $450 for a repair that did not address the actual problem I originally called about. In Response to Ty G: Your response is totally incorrect. I would not have called the second plumber and the leak detection company if your recommended restoration company had not told me that the leak was not identified. The pictures taken are of the secondary bathroom not the master as we discussed in our phone call. It is totally "disingenuous" for you to now state that the master toilet was the issue. This validates everything I thought about your company. Others beware! read more

I reached out for tankless hot water heater repair - and they were able to send out a tech right away. Josh came out, worked with the manufacturer and assessed the issue. My HW Heater was still under warranty, so the part arrived a few days later and they were able to come back out and repair it quickly. Josh was a great tech - Very patient and he made sure I knew how to reset temporarily and maintain hot water until my unit was fully operational again. A great experience and excellent customer service. read more

Our pipes burst and after we got the immediate issues sorted out (a quick patch by another plumber), we set about looking for someone to re-pipe our townhome. Plumbing Express were the lowest bid, but that's not why we went with them. We went with them because they have a proper re-piping crew. So they do full re-pipes regularly. They also have a drywall guy who comes back the next day to patch all the holes, and there's a ton of holes. We had all paints we'd used in the house. So by 3 days after they'd started, our townhome looked liked they'd never been here. Just insanely good work, no futzing around wasting time. Just two straight days of honest work and for substantially less than the other bidders. read more

my toilet is still clogged. I am very disapointed, it was expensive, and the quality was bad.

Do yourself a favor and NEVER use this company. The tankless water heater descaling service is a SCAM! My water heater kept giving error code of blockage, and I had to reset it every other day. The tech Anthony recommended descaling. I was charged close to $900 for diagnosing the water heater and descaling it. It only took him 5 min to set up the descaling, the rest of the time was just waiting for the heater to flush itself. My water heater gave the same error code the same night. I called Plumbing Express again. Another tech came, he said he couldn't find anything wrong, he said maybe due to strong wind. He just hit the reset button, which I knew to do it myself. I called Plumbing Express again. This time they didn't come, and gave me $2,000 quote to repair the piping and all that. I debated for a long time between repairing and replacing the whole system (my system was only 5 years old). I decided to call another plumbing company for second opinion. They came and found the inlet water filter being extremely dirty and blocked. They cleaned it, and now my water heater is working like new again, and the new plumbing company charged me less than $100. Cleaning the filter was supposed to be part of the annual maintenance descaling that I paid Plumbing Express to do, which they obviously didn't do and I paid $900 for. They even mis-diagnosed and wanted me to fix the whole plumbing system for $2-3k. It is insane! Another issue was during the first appointment of fixing my water heater, I also asked Anthony to look at my shower faucet because it didn't control temperature very well. It was working fine besides the temperature part. He unassembled it to look inside. He said the cartridge needs to be replaced. He had to look for it and would call me back. Anthony put the shower faucet back. The same day when I used the shower, I turned the faucet and it fell off. It was very obvious that Anthony assembled it incorrectly. He came back and couldn't put it back because the parts inside broke already. He said he would call me back about replacement quote. Never called me back. I had to call office multiple times. After that, they said the faucet is too old, there is no replacement part, I would have to replace my entire master shower system. Not only Plumbing Express didn't fix my shower faucet, they completely broke it. They turned a simple problem into something they would cost me tens of thousands of dollars to fix. Now I'm still living with my faucet broken off and still trying to figure out a way to fix it without breaking my bank. read more

Josh did an excellent job replacing a pressure reducing valve. Would definitely hire them again.

Josh was professional, honest and personable. He diagnosed the problem and even after I had signed a more expensive estimate, when he found the problem could be solved for less he let me know. Fast, efficient, and extremely knowledgeable. Highly recommended. read more

Dylan was our technician came to fix or RINNAI THANKLESS water heater. He was thorough answered my questions and appear to be very knowledgeable about the functionality of the unit. Prices were affordable. I would definitely recommend using this company again. Just to know I've had other plumbers came out and claim they could service the water heater, but you shouldn't let anyone without a certification and a special training with RINNAI, work on your water heater. Excellent service. Very efficient and affordable. Dylan explained everything and looks like the repair is working well!

They are a capable, licensed service that will fix your plumbing problems correctly if you are in a pinch. However, due to the scheduling delays and higher-than average pricing, the overall experience was just okay. read more

Daniel was great. Our sewer line in the back yard dimpled due to the previous owns building a patio on top of it. Daniel came in, gave us an estimate for rerouting the line instead of ripping up the patio, and got the work done. The price was very competitive, Daniel and his team were knowledgeable and professional, and the job got done when they said it would be. 10/10 experience during what was a very crappy time for me and my family. read more

Dylan came out to troubleshoot an issue we've been having intermittently with getting lukewarm water from our hot water faucet. He examined our setup and explained his thought process behind his diagnosis. He quickly put in a fix and left his information in case what he put in didn't fix things for us long term (as what we've been experiencing has been on and off). We've been using Plumbing Express for all our plumbing needs for three years now and couldn't be happier with their service. Their technicians are courteous, knowledgeable, and provide quality work. read more

Good work but too expensive. Could have gotten it down for $300 but it cost $500. Had to bite the billet since I was in a hurry. The problem was just a broken flange on the toilet. 15 min total work. Got charged as if I am paying fie repair and replacing the toilet. That sucked. read more

This morning I Found water gushing from a pressure escape valve on the water heater. Turned off the main water valve and looked for a plumber. The first one I called said it would be tomorrow afternoon before someone could get here. Then I called Plumbing Express. They scheduled a service call for between 2:00 & 4:00 today. They called a bit later and said they could come earlier! Daniel diagnosed the problem ( a stuck relief valve) repaired it quickly. Very fast and polite! We paid only for the service call. They did a good job fixing my bathroom sink faucet where I could not get the old unit out. They were able to remove it and install the new one quickly. Installed our new AC quickly and professionally. Friendly, efficient, and great pricing -- definitely 5 stars!

I asked them to come out because I was having trouble relighting my pilot light. I admit I heard gas the 2nd try and was a little nervous. I asked how much they charged to come out it was 65.00 and if something was wrong it would go towards parts. They came out it lit immediately. Didn't even discuss or look at why it might have shut off. He went to truck got credit card charger left my home in under 10 minutes. Charged 187.00 dollars. They were nice right? They didn't say I needed a new water heater? I phoned for explantion and that was the price. I noticed most the people with recommendations purchased new water heaters. According to ChatGPT and internet that is too much to pay for this service in Atlanta? read more

Excellent work, came on time and did 10/10 job! Will use for all future plumbing work.

I have found my forever plumber. I had Plumbing Express repipe my home a few years ago. I recently reached out; because, I thought I had a plumbing issue developing. Fortunately, I did not. The service technician Dylan was outstanding. He calmed my and my husband concerns and provided a plethora of information. I no longer have to worry about finding a good plumber. Dylan provided excellent service from start to finish. He explained every part of the process and answered all my questions.

My water heater went out about 5 days ago. Right after my air conditioner. So between a super hot house and cold showers, I was not a happy camper. I research a lot of places for quality, affordable water heaters including the big box stores. Dylan from Plumbing Express came out, gave me an estimate which at the time I thought was high (about $1200), until doing my research. In the end I hired them to do it. It turns out that their water heaters are professional grade and are of superior quality to the best available in the box stores. Dylan was super professional and installed my heater in no time, made sure there were no leaks and in a hard to get to space, as I have a 1940s bungalow. Afterwards he even called a service to dry out my waterlogged floor and they came out immediately. I recommend them to everyone! Update: New issue... cast iron drain pipe corroded and water poured out every time I used a sink. Called Plumbing Express. Anthony came the next day and replaced the cast iron pretty quickly. The price was well under $1000. He was very professional and answered all my questions. After 2 great experiences, they are now my go to plumbing company. read more
