Unless you know exactly what your plumbing issue is in advance, don't call these guys. I had an issue with a disposer and a washer not draining. I had no idea what the exact issue was. They quoted me $1500 to resolve the issue. I accepted not knowing anything about plumbing. They came and one person removed the disposer and replaced it with pipe and snaked the line. It took all of 90 minutes (I had to resolve the washer issue myself). 90 minutes at $1500 is $1000 an hour. I asked for a partial refund, they basically called me a sucker. But they have a high score so you'll likely never know this behavior until it's too late. Shameful what's become of our country! read more

They came out super fast and quickly diagnosed the problem which turned out to be minor and fixable on the spot. I was convinced the issue was a crack in an old polybutylene connection, but they figured it out immediately and fixed the actual issue. I also learned a lot about our plumbing which previous companies had been wrong about, like where our main enters the house and how old our pressure regulator is, etc. We're considering a filtration system and I'd be confident to use Plumb Medic for this. Oh my goodness, Plumb Medic saved our buns and our house! Thank you Cameron and Corey!! Right before we moved into our new home, our basement flooded twice. The first time we thought it was the water heater so they drove two hours in traffic to pick up a new water heater for us. It turned out to be a complete main sewer blockage due to previous owner neglect. They stayed with us until 11 o'clock at night to clear the obstruction, just enough for us to use sinks and bathrooms for a couple of days. They did warn us it was a temporary fix and we might have a larger problem. Three days later, we were having the house cleaned on a Friday to move in on Saturday, and it flooded much much worse. Cameron & Corey came back out with a GPS and found where the line was blocked. They told us we would have to dig up the concrete in the back and replace a section of pipe underneath our patio. Long story short, Cameron was 100% correct and he came back to do the work a few days later. The entire time he works his phone blows up with people needing his help. I had Cain and Eric out at my home for a few days working hard to fix the issues I had. It was a lot of work but they did an amazing job. Their communication was efficient (texting system confirming appointment and letting me know when Nick was on the way). Nick was prompt, courteous, and efficient. We recently purchased an older (70s) home in the Marietta area knowing we would have to do a full replacement of all of the supply lines. We shopped around for quotes and had 3 other companies come to take a look. Cameron and his team came in the lowest and also seemed the most competent so we hired them for the job. The previous homeowner did a lot of terrible DIY work that needed to be replaced and they not only identified major problems but worked out economical solutions. I have nothing but great things to say about this company. We've had minor issues with our sump pump over the years and it recently started making such a loud grinding noise that it was shaking the entire house. These guys were very easy to communicate with, timely, and obviously know their stuff. There were many issues identified by them with how the whole thing was set up. No one ever wants to have to call a plumber. Unless you already know a great plumber, it is a little nerve wracking to look for a plumber all the while hoping that you find one that is reputable, professional, has great customer service, and be able to trust what they tell you. Thankfully I found Plumb Medic!!! From placing the service ticket on their website all the way through the fix, both Cameron and Kane were great! Kane was great from the moment that he arrived. He patiently walked me through and showed me what needed to be done as he was diagnosing the issue. He provided some great advice around some things that I know need to be addressed. He quadrupled checked that everything was working correctly before he left and he really just took his time to make sure things were correct. We had used them before and were very happy and gave a good review. This time, however, we were given an appointment time of 12 - 4 on 12/30/22 to check on a problem with our water heater. When no one showed up by 5:30 pm, my husband called and talked with someone in the office. He told my husband that there had been an emergency but it looked like Cameron was on the way. No one ever showed or even called to tell us they were not coming. My husband called the next morning (12/31/22) and was given the run around and bascially was told the plumbers were "on vacation today." DUDE ANSWERED THE PHONE! When it comes to business, the biggest hurdle can sometimes be just getting someone, (not the recorder) to simply answer the phone. A couple of days ago, we discovered a leak in our water tank. No problem. I know that it is going to be a couple of days before I contact anyone because I first need to conduct my own research. How can you make an informed decision without getting as much information as possible? I finally narrowed my search to two options, one is not available until tomorrow and the other is a recording requesting a "call back" number. In the meantime, I have just moved on and I'm checking out random Yelp reviews when I see an ad for a plumbing service that SPECIALIZES in water tanks. What?? They have an excellent rating and they offer 24 hour service, What?? Although I think "this is too good to be true", I have nothing to lose so I give them a call. Cameron answers the phone within two rings, we have a brief conversation and he says that he is on his way to my home, What?? No, I was not hearing voices, he actually arrived within the hour. I like Cameron, he is a good talker without making you feel like he is just blowing smoke. He is very knowledgeable about his field, (recent changes in the industry as they affect our current set-up, codes and advances). His conversation was not sales oriented but focused more on educating the consumer. I also liked the fact that he spoke to US because sometimes when my husband is present the contractor will speak to him as if the subject matter is a bit too technical for the "little lady". That's a HUGE mistake because I am the sole point of contact and the one who does the hiring. As a general rule, my husband is not allowed to talk to my contractors outside of my presence. No, I am not being mean, I don't want my contractor to be confused on get conflicting information. Also, my husband will just drag the conversation in another direction because he has a different agenda. This time, it was a sink in the garage. Cameron patiently indulged him and agreed to establish hot and cold water lines for a new sink. Back to the matter at hand, we decided to have Cameron install our new water heater because he gave a great presentation (cool and casual, nothing formal), and covered all of the key points. For the amount of work to be done, the price quoted was more than reasonable. But He actually returned later in the day with his partner Jessie. They completed the install and additional work as requested, gave a report of what was done and BOOM! we had hot water. Here is what you need to know: A blind quote means nothing. You actually need someone to come to your home and conduct a thorough assessment of the situation in order to give you an accurate quote. Don't be cheap and try to cut corners. This is a very important purchase and quality matters more than anything. When it comes to home services, you don't want the slick sales guy in the polo shirt and dress pants. You want the straight shooter with the big work truck, wearing his work clothes. I'm down to business and I don't have time for "window dressing". ***Take time to read their story because it is quite interesting and gives a detailed account of their start and experience. You can trust them! I will never call another plumber. They are great, down to earth guys with a lot of experience that opened their own company. We had another issue and after fixing that, another company told us that we needed to replace our 'valve'. And, because they couldn't find it would need to tear up our yard to place another one. Guess what, ours was in plain site and nothing is wrong with it. They could very easily have given us a lower estimate to 'fix it' but, that's not how they run their business. Had a massive water leak under my slab. Plumb Medic came out after locate found the leak. Cain and Erik were on the job until it was completed. They had to drill through an 11" slab to get access to the pipes. Unfortunately, once the first leak was fixed a second one was discovered. Some more jack hammering and they were able to get it fixed. Again my situation was on the tougher side but these guys manged it like the pros they are.
