Be very careful with this company.... I let them take advantage of our family. TLDR: I believe they overcharged us. $409 for 5 seconds of diagnostics and 25 min of labor including 3 trips to the truck (one was to retrieve a replacement pin for one that had been dropped in to the wall), and a $60 part that they itemized as $340 on my bill. I called multiple times to speak with the field manager and was not able to connect with him. We had a leak in our shower that the technician with five seconds of looking at it determined he was 99% confident on what the issue was. He started repairs at 1:46 PM and finished at 2:11 PM with everything working. Our work starting window being (11-2pm) My issue comes with the fact that I think they overcharged us for the job that they did. After writing the check and thinking over the entire interaction, I began to feel very uneasy with how everything played out. I was not given a breakdown prior to the service beginning. Only a line on a phone to sign that I agreed to the price. I was not offered the opportunity to read what I was signing (nor did I ask, which is my fault.) no shoe covers were worn in our home which now has subsequent consequences for my time of needing to get out of the spot cleaner. Only after the project had been complete was I given an explanation of what labor went on (again my fault for not asking prior to). When I initially made the appointment, I was given the price for the service call, but I neglected to ask what their minimum job cost is (still not sure of what that is). Afterwards, I called the office trying to get a better idea of why the cost was so high. My frame of reference being that we had had a kitchen faucet and a disposal replaced within the last year with Fitzgerald and neither of these items including parts cost more than $400. The lady in the office was very kind and offered to put me in touch with the field manager. He did give me a call back after a few days however I was not in a place to chat with my Twins screaming in the backseat. I did call two other times to try and get in touch with him and have not received a call back to date. Overall, I learned a lot from this experience, and I believe it's important to share so that others understand how to advocate for themselves in an area in which they might not be technically skilled. Ultimately, they are well within their right to cash my check because I did agree to the price. I however will be asking a lot more questions next time, and probably be seeking a different company. I took their marketing for face value and feel like stewardship was mishandled. Our technician rusty was great! Very respectful that we had three children napping when he came to do repairs. After the repair, he explained to me what he did. Was very courteous to me. My only qualm was that he did not wear shoe covers and our home and had to walk through our master bedroom that has beige carpet and I will need to get out our spot cleaner to clean this up. read more

They listened to my concerns and after investigating they learned what my problem was,they were able to fix it without any extra parts and they were able to tell me all about why I was having the issue. I have used HIS before and was satisfied with both service and cost. Not so this time. When making the appointment I was very explicit that I had a backup, and I needed a snake run to clean out. I explained I have had to do this occasionally and that was all I need. The issue is caused by the distance of the tank from the house and the trap catches paper. The people I use regularly were backed up and it would be a few days till they could come out. I requested a quote, they refused. I ask them what their minimum was for the job, they refused. I assumed that it would at least be close to what my normal service was, so I said OK. They told me that there would be a charge of $250 even if they did nothing but would apply to bill. I figured that was ok cause it usually was $300 to do the job. WHAT a shock when the tech quoted me almost triple what I normally pay. I asked why so high. He said that was minimum for a backup because they were required to not only snake, but to use a camera and some other not requested things, to ensure no other problems were evident. I had him repeat what he said about it being the normal minimum, he replied yes. I informed him that I was not paying the outrages quote and how the office had told me there was no normal minimum. He replied, it must have been a communication problem, He called office and after a while came back and said it would be handled by office. I assumed all was good. I had to wait for my normal plumber to come out at $350. A week later I got a bill for $237.50 (they gave me a return customer discount). I called and explained what happened and was told not their fault and what the tech said was wrong. I told them it was nice of them to give me a PHONE TRANSCRIPT of my requesting more than once for a quote and being refused, no good, still wanted MONEY, So I figured no good was going to come of continuing conversation and politely stated communication was over. I have now received a Demand for Payment Final Notice up for Collection notice................. To quote another 1-star review "I resent companies portraying themselves as Christian and then doing this." I have seen other reviews of their high cost; I agree with them, I DO NOT RECOMMEND. read more

I had issues with my toilet running randomly for 5-10 seconds. It costs me $345 for him to put in a new valve however, he didn't switch out the cylinder, which was the cause of the issue. This caused the bowl to have almost no water. I called them back and explained there's no water in the bowl and they sent the same guy back. He stated this is a "low flow" toilet and that 1/2 cup is sufficient water. 1/2 cup is not sufficient and before he came, my toilet bowl filled up without issue. He finally admitted that he didn't know how to fix it as I kept stating "before you, I had water. After you, I do not. It's not that it's a low flow as the bowl filled before you got here". I also had him swap out a toilet in my spare room (big mistake as that was another $800 and instead of changing out the lid with the new toilet, he used my old lid that slammed down almost breaking the toilet. Who knows what he did with the lid that should've been added to my new toilet. I had to call another plumbing company to fix the mistakes of this one and to top it off, they were literally half the price! I would never use this company again and consistantly tell others never to use it. read more

Had a leak in my pressure regulator valve. Called to have them come out and they were on their way within 20 minutes! Branden was very friendly and knows what he is doing. Didn't just replace the leaking piece, he upgraded both it and the nearby shutoff valve and anchored everything in place. They may not be the lowest price, but I doubt they are the highest either. Price is quoted before work begins and there were no changes after the job was done. And they are quick to respond and leave the area in better condition than before the trouble started. We will definitely be using them again and recommending them to friends. read more

Fantastic and trustworthy.. had a sewage line leak, came out the same day. Although they were unable to clear the clog (more on that later) they advised us to contact the city as it might be their responsibility. Turns out, they were correct. The sewage line had actually collapsed and the city has agreed to replace the pipe. They saved us a few thousand dollars by being honest and trustworthy. I will definitely use them again is for all of our plumbing needs. read more

Our Hot water heater was needing to be upgraded so I called David of His Plumber. Knowing it was going to be a tight fit, I called and conveyed the space issue with Hannah in the office. She had David call me directly. I sent him photos, we discussed the time involved, and he sent me an accurate quote. Caleb came out just a couple days later and installed the new hot water heater. He also went above and beyond by updating the supports with new two by fours to ensure everything was perfectly level and supported. Quality and customer service have always been top notch. Very bad service from them today. Water heater they installed in March of 2020 quit working Christmas Eve (2 days ago). I waited and called this morning Dec 26th for a service and was told by their answering service that someone would get back to me soon with an update after confirming I would pay their $300 after hours charges. Well 7 hours and after multiple calls to them still crickets. They obviously are choosing not to work on the Holiday weekend but should have enough respect to say so or not have their answering service even answer. Very disappointed at their lack of care or concern for other peoples time. Finally, they are higher priced than most of their competitors and after the way I got treated today. In a time when so many things are happening and people are losing their lives, livelihood, and are just scared we have to trust people to do what they promise they will do. I am an educator and my husband is an educator. If you come to us with questions pertaining to education then we can help you. I am not a plumber. I therefore have to trust that when I hire someone to come and fix a plumbing issue and they charge me upwards of $500, they must know what they are doing. What I will not and do not accept in any form is when this same company comes out, does not fix the issue, and changes the invoice to try and hide the fact that when they say they fixed the issue what they meant to say is they did not. After all--I have the original invoice. Is this how we glorify HIS name? Fraudulent practices? We will settle this amicably or in magistrate court but it will be settled. Buyer Beware! They did satisfactory work but in my opinion over charge for their services provided. 1 hour 10 minutes work, $439.00, and very little supplies was used. They do not charge by the hour like most Plumbers, but charge by the project. You will most likely get a better value from one that charges by the hour. Lesson learned. :( read more

While I was away from the house on Sunday 11/20/16, one of my neighbors saw water running over the sidewalk and into the street, near where my water meter is located. The utility was summoned and found and marked where a small leak was occurring on the main supply line to my house, just about 2 feet from the meter. They turned off the water and left me a notice and marked the leak with a little flag. I chose this plumber owing to the fact that they were local and that the one existing reviewer on Yelp gave them high praise. I was not disappointed. I left a message on Sunday and spoke to someone named Adam on Monday. Adam apologetically informed me that, because of prior commitments, the soonest they could dispatch a plumber would be Tuesday between 11 AM and 2 PM. When the plumber (David) arrived on time on Tuesday he set to work immediately. I stepped away for a few moments to assist a neighbor whose house alarm was going off. When I came back, David had dug out around the leaking pipe and explained to me why it was leaking. It was mainly because of a the kind of cement used on the PVC tubing combined with the fact that the original plumber built a series of bends around a piece of wooden stake left in the ground instead of removing the debris and building more of a straight run. Over the years, because of settling and shifting the pipe was pressed against the stake and caused two of the pipe joints to work free and leak. David replaced the whole rube goldberg section of pipe fittings and short lengths with one continuous piece of flexible tubing and also replaced the piece that couples the brass pipe from the meter to the PVC that runs to the house. It took him just about an hour, including backfilling the hole and replacing the divots of sod. I am pleased with the level of service provided by this company. I believe that their rate was reasonable and fair and the plumber was very personable and professional. I would wholeheartedly recommend this business. read more
