$2,715.90 This nice man was referred by a friend. He never provided me an estimate as I'd requested prior to showing up and I, foolishly, didn't push it. (Other estimates were between $1280-1600.) He and a helper showed up on time to do the work. Which included replacing a valve stem in a shower handle, removing a 30 gallon water heater from my attic, replacing it with a 30 gallon water heater and adding a disconnect. they also replaced the expansion tank without consulting me instead of using the expansion tank. thathad been put on a couple years ago. He arrived at 9:30 in the morning. At 11 AM they had not gotten the water heater out of the attic and informed me that the water heater they bought was too wide to access the opening into the attic and they would need to return it and get a different type of water heater. They left my house around 3:30pm (taking between 11:30 and 1:40 to return their first selected water heater and have lunch.) He charged me $603.90 for materials $2112 for labor. They did very good work me replacing bathroom faucets for me. However, be sure to get a quote before the work is done because my invoice was very expensive. read more

After contacting large plumbing companies in my area over the last 10 years, I decided to try a small business when my water heater stopped working. One call to White's Plumbing, and they were able to work me in on a Friday afternoon...after 5:00! And better yet, they were able to install my new water heater first thing Saturday morning, even though they were in the middle of a large job that week! They were super nice, clean, and fast... even sweet to my animals! Their concern for me being without hot water all weekend was reassuring, as I was used to having to wait until the following week for service from the "big" companies. The best part was that they didn't overcharge!!!! I would recommend them to anyone with a plumbing issue!!!
