They wanted 265.00 to replace a flush value in one toilet. The part only cost around $20 labor time would probably be 30 minutes so you use this company if you like I would not recommend prices out of line read more

I asked the Plumber for an Inspection that I already had printed out. He instead said he will use his? I only needed 9 to 10 areas of interest checked. Instead he sends an email with minor issues and like drops of water by the sump pump area and mentioned water there " unknown" source? Well I pay you to find the source? Basically all I needed was an Inspection for signs of " active" leaks, water damage, or corrosion. I already knew about the homes fixtures that needed stem replacements as they were shut off from the valves. Slow draining sinks and showers, according to him - not requested? This house is almost 20 years old and in great condition but Old water stains with no active wet pipelines or appliances no need to mention. Lastly, the report is not detailed ? Each finding should be noted as what is the current or potential problem if not repaired? Will it cause a future leak or water damage? I don't recommend this company for a Home Inspection . They need to listen to what the customer is specifically paying them for and give a more detailed report on their findings as it relates to present and future Water damage. For what I needed and asked for. This report is useless. Waste of $175. read more

Very fast and responsive. Did a great job installing a toilet and a gas line. Very reasonably priced.

My gas control valve went out on my water heater. I was able to get a D & S plumber to come out on the same day. I was not able to get the problem resolved due to a part that had to be ordered from the manufacturer. Once I received the part, D & S was able to squeeze me in. I wasn't expecting a repair tech to come out until 6 - 8 pm, but the tech was able to make it to me 5 hrs earlier than scheduled! Great company, this is my second time using D & S and each time was a professional experience. read more

The worst. Made commitments of getting the job completed by a certain date to allow for our scheduled inspections to open the business and failed to meet the timeline. Provided a quote and completed half the job. Then when I asked about finishing, they said that was another not included in the original quote. Ended up paying double the original price. When they finished, they left a huge mess we had to clean up. I will never use this company again and suggest you steer far away from them, read more

Upon purchasing our contact, I contact D&S. They came out, gave a thorough inspection. Made recommendations as to problems and potential issues to look for. I cannot say enough about how much I would recommend D&S. We got quotes from 2 other plumbers and they beat their estimates by about 2/3rds! Not only that, when Daniel came out to quote the job, he was professional but so down to earth, we knew they would be our plumbers for all our future projects! Stephen came out to do the work and just like Daniel was absolutely perfect with his professionalism, knowledge of the job and work ethic! I will never hesitate to recommend them and they will always be the only ones we will call from now on! read more

D and S plumbing came to my home to repair a plumbing problem on the outside of my home. The plumber that did the job failed to cap the pipe and my home was flooded. Rather than accept responsibility and file to the insurance company that D and S has for liability , I was forced to have Allstate pay all repairs and sue for damages . Allstate did hire an attorney and settled with D and S for the costly repair. I think it goes without saying integrity in a company is everything. read more

Our guest bathroom sink had been stopping up for a few weeks and we tried at home remedies to fix it before calling plumbing. I went on Ola Talks via Facebook to search reputable companies and D&S was the best! Seth was very knowledgeable with information, future do's and don'ts and pricing. He got the job done in 5 minutes for half the price quoted because it was thankfully a simple fix. I'll def call this company in the future if we need them. Thank y'all!! read more

As a property management company using professional, dependable companies is a critical part of our operation at TuggleHouse Properties. D&S answered the phone on a weekend! They promptly set the appointment for Monday (it was not an emergency). I received confirmation by text and email, my tenant was available earlier than scheduled so D&S took care of them. Great company to work with. read more

Absolutely the best Plumbers I've ever dealt with. Honest, dependable, reasonably priced. I had them come out due to a bad smell like sewer and leaking from under house. This house was built in the 40s and the pipes were not up to code, plus had started leaking. D&S gave a thorough inspection and the house needed to have all new piping to fix it correctly and up to today's code. I also asked for quotes to replace the toilet and tub w/ back drop with something better. Also to fix my leaking kitchen sink and put in a new vanity in the bathroom. They were reasonably priced, worked quickly and efficiently, and had it all done in 3 days. That was a lot of work, putting in all new pipes under the house, pulling out the old, updating the piping inside the house for kitchen, bathroom, washroom, etc. Everyone I spoke to from D&S and worked with on this project were wonderful! So glad I found them. Very very happy with the results and best of all that terrible odor is gone that was causing me health issues. read more

We have been so happy with D&S Plumbing. Chad has now been out several times for repairs on our older home that had been a rental for many years. He really goes above and beyond to get the job done right and the price has always been very reasonable. The company itself is very reliable and it's been very simple to get on their calendar. I highly recommend this company for value, honesty and great work ethics. read more

I was having new flooring installed in my home and the installers said there was leak at the toilet supply line. He was unable to completely shut the water off. I needed to have a plumber come out either today or tomorrow to fix it-yikes! I found D & S online and chose them based on their location and previous reviews. They were able to send someone today and he arrived 2 hrs earlier than they quoted me. Mike was great, he quickly identified the problem and fixed the leak coming from the toilet supply lines. The final price for the work ended up being $90 less than he originally quoted me-hooray! Thanks D & S you saved the day. read more

It was 4:30 pm and D&S plumbing came within the hour to our house which was flooded for an unknown reason. They couldn't find the leak and recommended someone who could and they came very soon after. No charge for the visit. Thank you! read more

I called on 8-17 and spoke to Shawn, advised of my issue (a foul odor coming from my kitchen sink that does not have a garbage disposal) that fills the entire house. He submitted a request for a plumber to come out. Trey called after while and advised there's nothing he'd be able to do but come, look at the sink, smell the odor, charge me a diagnostic fee and tell me to put bleach down the drain; all of which I've done numerous times and more, to no avail, so I figured something was wrong which is why I called a plumber to identify why the odor persists and to try and resolve it. I can appreciate honesty but there has to be some type of resolution instead of my just dealing with it so who am I supposed to call if not the plumber? Possible sewage gas odor (which is dangerous an toxic) throughout the entire house but there's nothing that can be done? I called back to speak with Daniel and identify why I wasn't advised that nothing can be done initially before anticipating someone to come out. I spoke to Shawn again who advised the reason he requested someone out was because he wasn't a plumber. I asked again to speak to Daniel and was informed he is in N.C. I asked why I wouldn't be able to contact him just because he's in N.C. and I was informed he's doing a job out there. So I inquired my not being able to speak to him and if I'd have to wait until he returned and I was advised that he would reach out. Missed a call a while after from who I presume was Daniel but he didn't leave a message nor answer when I called back. The only reason I presume it's him is due to my researching the # that called. Highly unprofessional. Update on 8-22, had another plumbing company come out and they confirmed the smell was sewerage gas which is highly toxic and extremely dangerous to inhale in, meanwhile, I was ignorantly staying in a sewerage smelling house of which Trey with D&S Plumbing told me he could do nothing about but smell it, tell me to pour bleach down the drain, and charge me. read more

I came home to water coming through my ceiling and noticed it was right beliw our master bathroom toilet. I called a couple places and received no answer. I called D&S and they answered right away. I called about 11am and they said they could be here between 3-5. They arrived right at 3. It turned out the bolts on the back of the tank slowly loosened and that was the cause. They were quick, efficient and did a great job. They also were very reasonably priced. Will definitely call them again if I have an issue. read more

Amazing! After calling around to get some advice on re-running a gas pipe in the Kitchen that was blocking my stove from aligning flush up against the wall, I was told that the job could not be done due to the placement of the pipe in the sub floor. I called D & S at the last minute and from the moment I spoke to someone on the phone they knew what the issue was and scheduled me for the exact day that I needed at 8:00am. Well, at 7:58am Mike called and said he would be there in two minutes! Exactly at 8:00am. Mike was very professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and fun! He explained to me that the job could be done and what he was going to do step by step! Mike had a great attitude and got the job done in exactly 30 mins. Not only would I recommend D&S but ask for Mike! He was awesome! Thank you very much! Job well done! read more

My water bill was extremely high. The water authority said there was a leak and suggested we check all toilets by placing dye in water tanks to determine if there was a leak, no leak indicated. We checked every possible water source. I was very upset about the leak as I had paid to have a break in the line repaired just a year earlier. I called several companies who said entire line needed to be replaced The price for repair by these companies was much more than I could afford. I saw an add for D&S Plumbing and called them. The price they gave was reasonable. The technician was friendly and helpful. After installing the line, he discovered the meter was still running too fast. The tech checked and found another leak under the sink. This was repaired at a reasonable price. I'm glad I called D&S Plumbing. Problem finally solved! read more

D&S Plumbing to the rescue!!!! I had a busted water pipe this week from the street to the house, I called a few places but D&S was the only company that I got to respond at 8 at night and from the office team to Mike who came out to appraise and do the work they were all very professional and friendly!
