Drew was the guy who helped me from start to finish with my water heater…read more *Drew was a referral from a realtor that lives in/sells several units in my condo complex. He, I think, has worked with at least 15-20 units, so his name at my complex is well known. My office people at my complex also had high regards for him when it came down to his water heater knowledge. Not sure if the # on Yelp and his cell are same, but Drew is text friendly. I'm on the phone often at my job so when I had a question to ask, I'd text him and he'd text back quickly with an answer. The job took around 3 or so hours. Drew brings the new water heater and gets rid of your old one (1 year labor warranty, 6 years warranty on water heater). Before he does anything, he shuts off water and etc. During the 3 or so hours, he does everything -- cutting/adding pipes/installing any extra new water heater gadgets you need. I have NO water heater knowledge, but when he was done, my water heater and pipes looked so beautiful. No lie, my old water heater pipes looked so randomly placed. Drew also got everything up to code and added water turn off/on pipes for unit. Apparently, most units don't have that and it makes life so much easier when you need to shut off the water in your unit versus the entire building. Oh and Drew is a total southern gentleman. My BF was home with me when Drew came, but I would have felt fine if it was just me in my unit. Make sure he has space to work... I totally forgot this tip and he had to move my furniture around haha.
