Two different phone numbers. We had some plumbing issues and one issue was with a sink that they said the only way to fix it is to completely replace the sink for a slow drain. We also had issues with some back up. I hired another company and they were able to fix it through snaking. I did not hire another company until I was told that I may be better off just working with someone else. They told me that after I made one little complaint that I did not receive a text back from them after 24 hours. They already worked on our place and over 24 hours passed and I was just trying to get a resolution on our sink. They told us we needed to replace the sink to fix the problem, but it turns out when we hired a new company, It was snaking that worked - and I only hired a new company because this company told me we might be better off just choosing a different company because I made one little complaint about them not responding to me after 24 hours. They did not resolve my issues. Do not pay by Zelle because then you can't get your money back. Be very careful with this company. If they can't fix it, they tell you to find another company And then don't resolve the issue. If I am such a horrible customer, just because I was expecting to hear from them I had already paid them and wanted the issue resolved. One more thing when I asked if I could turn the sink back on, they said yes and the kitchen got flooded and they didn't respond to me. Still trying to get some reimbursement. I guess I'll just keep posting reviews everywhere.

They sent two plumbers and one called himself a senior...they both looked at the leak and said that it was completely dry and they couldn't find a leak...becoz the upstairs bathroom sits right above where the leak was he said it could have been due to water running down the shower to the floor and since no one was using the upstairs shower anymore the problem must have fixed itself...and i need to caulk the sides of the tub to ensure there was no leak in the future... He never cut open the ceiling where the leak was and pls note it was not a small one and was still looking wet when they came and went but it was so high up that I couldn't just touch it and see....the company charged me 200 USD for the visit and the problem apparently didn't exist.,...in all this my mistake was that I didn't climb up the ladder to investigate while they were still there. Later in the week I asked my husband to climb up the ladder and look/feel the leak one more time before i called someone to patch up the ceiling ( there was a small whole the size of a baby's palm from all the prodding) and Lo and behold, it was still wet...there was no way a seasoned plumber could have missed that....I was so frustrated. The senior plumber, while he was there, all the while kept discussing his parallel business as a contractor and why I should hire him to renovate the bathroom. After a couple of days I called another plumber to fix a gas line and also showed him the leak he immediately diagnosed the problem as a pin hole leak( it was extremely extremely small ) and charged me 275 to fix it. I logged a complaint with Laura of United Installers plumbing that their Technician's very not professional( for trying to upsell me bathroom reno) and lousy at what they did....she promised I will get my money back but she never sent me the check after repeated follow ups. Every time there was some excuse or the other.. I would request all future customers to be vary of the quality of technicians they send. Pls don't waste your money on these good for nothing plumbers. I have already let me neighbors and friends know not hire them and I'll be sure to log a complaint with BBB as well. Thanks Katy

I was priced not on the job but for the appearance and size of my house. Should not be charged for smoke breaks during service - being charged $665 to cut, replace a metal pipe is ridiculous. They also had to empty the water heater but didn't have a water hose and had to use mine along with my buckets Wasted time making the correct decision and possibly took advice from owner who has no experience with plumbing - Suggest to everyone to get a second opinion and not use this company for small jobs

I turn on the shower and realized it was not warming up. Went downstairs to check the circuit breaker and what do you know, the breaker was tripped. Cutting it on solved my problem right? Ehhhhh nah. I called Roto-Rooter first (see my review for them) and they kept pushing my time out till the point that it was nighttime. I didn't feel comfortable with that so I canceled with them and called Ridgeway the next morning. The technician was very timely (he actually got to my house before I did and he didn't mind one bit), very friendly and professional. He explained to me that one of my elements in my water heater had corroded and suggested that if he replaced one he might as well replace the other one. That was a good move because both of them looked like someone spilled battery acid on them. He also explained to me that my water heater was manufactured in 2004. I moved in my brand new house in 2007 and I wondered why I had an issue with that water heater in 2008. Horrible (Georgia construction laws are horrible). So needless to say my water heater is already 8 years old. SMH Anyway it took him less than a hour to complete the work and he informed me that if the water heater started acting up again I could call him back and he would replace the heater minus part of the cost of the elements so I wouldn't be out so much money. I thought this was really nice. My lesson learned here is to go with smaller, non-chain companies. You get a better experience overall. I'm sure I would have been PISSED by time Roto-Rooter got finished (and my pockets way lighter) I will continue to use them in the future!

I decided to go ahead and have them do the work on 7/21/15, and they did a great job. We ended up needing to replace a hunk of old cast iron pipe and add a cleanout in case of future issues and we were good to go. They kept me in the loop of what was going on and cleaned up everything after themselves. Hopefully I don't need them again, but if I do need a plumber they will be my first call next time.
