This show the before he started, and the location of the water lines vs what his error.
    Ryan S.

You get what you pay for, seriously. Read the full review to understand his professionalism and the reason for the steep discount over other reputable plumbers. It is true he beat everybody else's prices, but in my case all he had to do was cut a cast iron pipe and install a pvc p-trap for the shower drain and connect the water lines (I had already purchased the lines for the water and all of the fittings). It started out by him swearing I had the wrong fittings, and although the packaging clearly said "PEX-A" and the pipe that I supplied also said "PEX-A", but he wouldn't know that because he never looked at the supplied material. As the work begins he started drilling without looking at where he is drilling and went through the top of my floor joist and conveniently never told me about it before he left for a break in the middle of the job or before he said he was done. To add insult to injury every thing has now been cemented into place without the taking into account the appropriate location of the drain or even asking for measurements. Now I have to go behind him and redo everything that he did with the drain, the only benefit is the cast iron is gone, I found the cast iron drain pipe sitting outside my crawl space door. When he was finished he informed the price had changed from what we agreed because he had to "buy material" without ever letting me know ahead of time. As I am trying to figure out how to pay him, he kept taking calls although in other reviews he references how it is "rude to be on the phone in front of a customer" He asked me for a review and I mentioned he had drilled into my floor joist and he called me. During our conversation I asked about the joist and his response was "Yeah and?"I asked if he was ever going to mention it and he just insisted that my joist is not compromised and that I don't need to repair it. I never asked for anything I didn't have the opportunity to make a point prior to him getting defensive. When I noticed where the conversation was going, I gave up and let him know I looked forward to the review. Which he responded "so that's how it's going to be you p**sy a** mother f**ker and hung up on me. I can't recommend his work for anybody who expects professionalism

My kitchen double sink had a slow drain for a week or so and after spending almost $40 on drain cleaners and breaking the handle on a plunger, a small puncture hole appeared in the metal pipe underneath the sink and there was no other option but to call a plumber. I came to Yelp to to find someone. I'm so uninterested in home repairs and knew Yelp would steer me to the right plumber I received a quote in about 10 minutes with a cost I felt reasonable and since is Black History Month and black America is prompting us to support black owned business, I went with this company. It helped also that he was able to come within two hours. Of course as with any and all home repair professionals, once he actually got to my home, the price quoted increased after his initial inspection by $330. I don't feel like he upped the price unnecessarily but the end root of the issue was more complicated than a backed up sink. I also asked him to install a kitchen faucet. He quoted his price for that and I found someone on Groupon for $40 cheaper so I'd say his pricing on that meets the industry norm since I'm sure the Groupon price is heavily discounted. In the end I didn't want to spend the extra $330 so I asked him to put the sink back together and just make it usable again. He did and it is. I found him to be professional and I'd go as far to say an honest plumber. Give him a try. I got some quotes for the work he told me would ultimately need to be done and the price he quoted me was $60-110 cheaper than what the larger plumbing companies quoted.

Owner Ray said Moen products are easy to work with.

My tenant reported that the water coming out of the shower head and tub faucet was either too hot or not hot at all. She couldn't control the temperature anymore. She reported this to me on Sunday morning. I immediately used Yelp's Request a Quote service and sent out a request to several Atlanta area plumbers. If you've never used Yelp's Request a Quote service, I highly recommend it. It's free, convenient, and saves a bunch of time and hassle. Raymond (Ray) White, owner of A Plus Priority Plumbing, responded to me almost immediately. Again, this was on a Sunday morning. My tenant texted me pictures of the tub/shower hardware which I texted to Ray. Ray was always quick to respond to my texts and answer my phone calls, no matter what day or time of day, which I really appreciated. When it comes to communication, he's the most responsive person I've worked with in home services. A lot of people can learn from him there. Ray was able to come and take a look at my problem the following Tuesday with a 12-3pm time window. He gave me a 30-minute courtesy call-ahead, which I requested, and showed up on time with another person (two vans). He diagnosed the problem, trying out a cartridge piece he had on him, and charged me $35 for the visit. A lot of plumbers and bigger companies easily charge a $50-100 trip fee just for coming out, so his diagnosis fee, especially with two people, was reasonable. The second person's name was Dakota and he was polite. Ray helped me make my decision which was to replace everything. Valve, cartridge pieces, control arm, faucet, and all. The hardware was 18 years old and had been through many renters over the years, so it was time. Ray charged me $650 for the job which included demolition (he had to destroy nine tiles to replace all the parts), replacement of the parts, some custom fittings and pipework, and cleanup. It took him about three hours to do the entire job by himself (normally, he has a helper, but the day he did my job, he was alone). He had to make a trip to Home Depot to get some particular parts once he tore my wall apart and saw what he was dealing with. Ray doesn't do tile work, so I'm having someone else patch up the hole he made. At my request, Ray temporarily sealed the hole shut with a plastic covering and tape. As far as I can tell, he did a fantastic job and I've heard no complaints from my tenant. Ray replaced my Kohler parts with Moen parts. He says Moen is easiest/simplest brand to work with. Other brands, like Kohler and Delta, have more quirks to them. Ray was able to check with his parts supplier and confirm he could get the parts for my job on the same day as my diagnosis. He was available to do the job on Wednesday, but due to a conflict I had at work, I had him come Thursday morning instead. So, total turnaround time from the time my tenant reported the problem to the time the problem was solved was only four days (would have been three if I could've met Ray sooner). Pretty good! He takes card and provides itemized receipts. If I recall correctly, Ray has been in the business for about 25+ years (working for large and small businesses) and has owned A Plus Priority Plumbing for the last 10+. It's a small outfit with currently about four on staff. They work all over metro Atlanta. Ray has a great work ethic. I read a Yelp review that said he even did work on Christmas Day and saved someone's Christmas. Does he ever take time off? Ray is a straight-shooter and no-nonsense type of guy. He may come across as short, but he's just being upfront and honest. I recommend you watch his video on Yelp. His responsiveness, the Yelp video, and Yelp reviews are what made me decide to choose A Plus Priority Plumbing over all the other vendors. Thank you, Ray!

I am no plumber, but these folks are, and they were gracious with their time, and explained it all, and provide options, pros vs cons, best practices, and did not once pressure me to make a decision. Mark, Eddy, and Mike did a superb job. They had no bias, and gave me all the facts and options to make my own decision. At the end of the day, I feel like I can trust them. Real pros. Arrived when they said they would, did what they promise and even more. Fantastic experience. If you want a plumber you can trust.. look no further.

I requested TE to come out and diagnose why an existing circuit was not getting power. Instead of…read morejust fixing the circuit, I agreed to a new panel for my house since it was 60 years old. The price I was quoted was over 12k. I felt the electrician on my job, Jason S. was very high pressure in his tactics and told me I needed to decide that day, or lose potential discounts. I had also been without a kitchen for over 30 days, so I agreed to the work. The next day Jason and an apprentice come out to start the job. They take one whole day to remove and replace the new panel, no problem. Here is where it goes downhill. On the second day of work, Jason and another apprentice came out and instead of prioritizing the circuit I hired him for, they start installing the hardwired smoke detectors Dekalb county allegedly requires. This took all day! By about 4 pm, I asked if he was going to get the outlet done so I could use my dishwasher and he replied "I guess if I stay here all night". I said I guess thats what you got to do then, and they were here til nearly 8 pm. Then he made several other unprofessional comments about staying late. Jason never came back to my job. A new Electrician came out on Monday, Jason said he had an emergency job. The part where they earned this rating comes when I found out my pool motor circuit was not working on the new GFCI circuit. I explained to them it originally was on a two pole circuit and now they had it on two single poles. It was drawing 240v and they had the model number and should have researched the wiring on their own as professionals. Rather than listen to me, I had to wait all day for the new electrician (with Jason on the phone) come up with a new quote to fix which included trenching up and re-wiring my entire pool, ANOTHER 5 THOUSAND DOLLARS! I was livid. I started looking into this and it turns out I was right, it just needed a 2 pole GFCI. I talked to the second electrician the next day and told him I want to talk to a supervisor or manager. I got a call later in the day from Jeffrey who was going to look into it and get back to me the same day. He did not. He did call me the next morning and agreed to send one of his best guys out to install a 2 pole and see if that solves the problem. Well guess what, it did! And, I didn't have to pay another 5K. I expected to hear back from Jeffrey again to ensure the job was to my satisfaction as you should on a service recovery. I did not. I feel lied to, and that I was robbed and almost taken needlessly for thousands more, had I not done my research which should not be necessary as a layperson. I understand from TE employees the Electricians control the cost, and they get a commission from it. Unfortunately, I paid for an electricians summer vacation because I trusted him. Luis L and Nathan the electricians at TE, thank you! Micah, Gavin, Phillip the apprentices, thank you too! Jeffrey I thank you for doing the minimum by ensuring what I paid for was completed. Jason, no thank you at all. You've sowed distrust in professionals and your industry with your practices.

Absolute life saver...after seeing so many glowing reviews (whenever you see 4.9…read morestars and over 50 reviews you know someone is doing something right) I immediately reached out to Rohan after our HVAC heat stopped working on the coldest day of the year (so far!). It was after 5pm, and within a short time Rohan called me back that night and set up something that next day. I so appreciated that because not everyone returns calls after hours, and we (well I) was panicked. It's an old system and thus had multiple problems that Rohan diagnosed, one by one. Each time he did he called me downstairs so I could see what was going on. Not only did it build trust (which he didn't need to do - I could feel from the get go his trustworthiness) but it helped me to understand and learn. All of this troubleshooting required multiple trips and additional parts needed (some where he didn't leave until 9:45pm, one on a Sunday - his off day where he insisted on coming). It also required work arounds for an old system, and finding parts (who knew a Trane doesn't use universal parts?!). But all along he kept a really good attitude, and always went the extra mile. We got a new thermostat and he opened it up to make sure the wires were all put on correctly (when he didn't have to) as just one example. He cleaned everything out - coils, etc. as well. He just deeply cares about his work and clients. He even checked in later that night once things were all finally fixed to make sure all was still good. When you have a problem that you know nothing about you have to rely on others. You hope they know what they're doing, are really good at it, and are truly looking out for you. Welp, we sure did find that. I am so grateful to Rohan and yelp. Thanks Yelpers for writing up about his stellar work - you are not wrong!!! Thank you Rohan!!!!!! You are our one and only now!!

Home warranty was an option but you know you always get scheduled with the worst of the worst, and they couldn't schedule me in for a few days.. I checked up some reviews on Yelp and HVAC Guys showed up as the only 5 star reviewed provider. Curious I checked other platforms and all had glowing reviews, so I messaged the business on Yelp, and got a response almost immediately. It took me a bit to respond to him, given the chaotic household on a Saturday evening but I was made aware that there is an emergency service fee and the repair charges to fix! Rohan was on his way around 7pm! Rohan has a good demeanor and very personable. He got to work immediately and diagnosed the problem (capacitor). Within 20 mins I had my HVAC working again. He gave him quite a few pieces of relevant information about my HVAC and even cleaned the coils outside to make sure everything was tip top! The total charge was reasonable - please don't compare these with DIY costs as HVACs need some level of knowledge and expertise. They accept all forms of payment but Venmo/Zelle make it super easy to pay for the services. Highly recommended. They also offer maintenance, which is top on my list prior to me turning my heat on.

I had them come out to pump my 1,000 gallon tank and was quoted 485 over the phone. The reason I…read morecalled them was because my bathroom had smelled a bit like sewer the last two days and then the morning I called them, the shower wasn't draining as quickly as it had. The last time we had the tank pump was 5 years ago so I figured that's what it needed. They have this bait and switch scam where they tell you it's going to be $485 to pump it but then they show up and they tell you there's an over full fee of $200 and if you happen to have any Kleenex or wipes in your septic system they charge you another $150 trash fee. So by the time you get your septic tank cleaned out it could cost you almost $1,000! They advertise $485 to get you in the door but then they jack up the price with extras. You're better off just to pay a competitor $600 and not get up charged at all. They will do everything for $600 and not add on charges. Ridiculous things. There are a lot of septic tank companies in the Atlanta and Douglasville area. Before hiring this company, please get a few estimates and don't fall for there their price. Gimmick to get them on your property. EDIT TO RESPOND TO OWNER'S COMMENT: Has there ever been a routine? $485 pumping? I can almost guarantee the answer to that question is no. You use the $485 to get people to let you come on to their property. Once you're on their property you have a $285 cancellation fee if they reject your up charges and high pricing. You've got this scam really well figured out and I hope future customers understand what you're doing. It's very obvious. In the future I will just go with the middle priced septic guy and if they try to up charge me with trash fees or digging fees or over full fees I will tell them no thank you and call the next person. I think it's very shady what you're doing with this bait and switch pricing tactic. The only reason you gave me a $50 discount is because I told you that I would have to get some more price quotes from other companies before I committed to the high price with the upcharges. Only then did you quickly offer me a $50 discount. I knew if I didn't accept the offer and turned him away, I would end up paying your $285 cancellation fee. So yeah you guys are cheesy as heck and it's really sad. You should be reported to the better Business bureau and probably criminally as well.

These guys are thieves. They came to my house and couldn't find the septic tank. I had to call the…read moreprevious owner to locate it for them. After that, they still claimed they couldn't find the tank and wanted to charge $475 to use a camera to probe it. Then they asked for $1,000 more to move dirt out of the way, saying they had to hand-dig because there was a cable underneath. Their prices are outrageous and completely overcharged. They showed no real knowledge and kept adding extra charges for small things. They charge me $285.00 for cancelation.
