Great food, great beer, great atmosphere and great service. Absolutely one of my favorite restaurants in Canton/Massillon.

Well it's been almost a year that I attended the grand opening of Royal Docks last September and I must say that after that first night along with thousands of other people . I knew this brewery was headed in the right direction for great things to come. Since the grand opening I've come to know John, Adriana, Dave and many of the staff (which I now call friends). It's a great place to have a fresh brewed beer, small plate, or a mixed drink. It's a great place to meet people and make new friends. This place has something for everyone, from the sporting events on the large projection screen, the Sunday morning yoga, the Tap Into Painting once a month, the Porsche Club, to the best music in town on Fridays and Saturdays. John and Adriana are some of the nicest people you will ever meet and it's passed along to their staff. From the regulars to the first timers that walk in, everyone is greeted with a smile and made to feel at home.. Brewmaster Dave Sutula has created and continues to create some of the best beers in town and has even won several awards for their beers. Just to name a few of my favorites (though I like all of them) 67 Alaska, The Tanglefoot IPA, One Sweet Dream, Daemonium, DLR to the award winning Vlad the Impaler, plus several other beers that I haven't mentioned. Talking with Dave. I feel that other then his family, he lives, eats and breathes beer. If you would ask him he would tell you it's in his blood. I'm looking forward to seeing what Royal Docks has in store for their upcoming sophomore year. From what I've read there will be a new taproom and canning facility in Green. Great European flair right in Stark county! It reminds me a lot of places I have dined in Europe. The beers are of such variety it makes it so nice to walk in and know anyone you have with you should be able to find one they like. There is always a new beer to look forward too. I get bored of beers quickly so to have flights are so perfect for me and they always have something new to try, such a good variety! Downstream Jam is sooo good! It is so easy to drink! The flatbreads have all been awesome! Very consistent food here. The Parmesan tots are so yummy and my whole family loved the chicken and waffles (with salted Carmel!) yum best around for sure!! The staff is extremely bubbly and fun to be around! Awesome management! They all have such a great passion for the brewery. We are extremely fortunate to have this business in our backyard! Now go to take your pup and sit out by the fire soon as we are allowed back out on the town! They do great carry out too during Covid! read more

Beers are very tasty and thats coming from someone who usually doesn't like craft beers, I met one of the owners and she is very friendly and great to talk to, the servers are all quick to help and also easy to talk to which does give the brewery that homey neighborhood pub feeling that the owners are trying to develop and if you need help deciding on a beers to drink try the sampler or better yet speak to Ian who is very knowledgable about all things in brewery especially their beers and is a great help in helping you pick your next favorite beer. We were very pleased with our visit. Maja, the manager, met us immediately at the door and as a new customer showed us "the ropes" and was very accommodating . I would highly recommend the "Yuletide " which rivals Christmas Ale . I had a Margarita flatbread which was delivered quickly and was delicious! This has to be the best thing that happened to the Canton area in a long time, especially if you are a beer enthusiast! :) I visit my parents in Canton pretty much every bigger holiday weekend, and while at the Nobles Pond Oktoberfest this Labor Day weekend we stopped by this brewery! First let me say that after we waited in line for 10 min, we got to enjoy some of the best beer I've ever had! Second, the English pub set-up was something unique and elegant, something I've niece experienced before, and the bartenders were very knowledgable in all the beers, even tho they have just recently opened! I now have an extra incentive to go visit my parents more often! read more

My family went here for dinner and to me this was very mediocre. Beer wasn't that impressive, and food was even worse. The only thing I did like about the restaurant was the environment and good music. An establishment like this wouldn't last in a bigger city. Take the 40 minute drive and go to a real brewery like Great Lakes in Cleveland. read more

Tonight we stopped in and we're visiting for one night. We enjoy great beers and good food and found this place on yelp. Fouad was our bartender and was fantastic. We had a southwestern flatbread, salad, and sliders(nightly special) which were also very good. We tried multiple home beers and were not disappointed. The service was very engaging and we could not speak about one negative point when we were leaving. Would highly recommend this establishment to anyone who likes good beer, friendly service, and tremendous food. Also, the sour ale is amazing!! read more

Had the pleasure of visiting this brewery while in town. Spot on as to what a brewery should be. Enjoyed the beers, great food menu and atmosphere. Nice to see different as they've done a great job! Went in looking for a good beer at the recommendation of a bartender from a place close by and walked away with a new favorite spot. The beers were fantastic; a great variety with solid flavors. I loved the open atmosphere. It was easy to see everything going on and made it easy to socialize. My friends were playing on a Saturday night. Drove an hour each way but its an easy drive. Beers were OK. Some of the fruit beers (IPA of course) were covering up some funk. Didn't see any lagers. Place was packed but we were lucky to get a seat. The whole order at the bar is annoying. Not because I'm lazy and want people to wait on me, its because everything I needed I had to get up and re-wait in line again. Most places would have damn bottle of hot sauce laying around. Not here, wait in line for 5 minutes and they reappear with a fancy cup of Franks. Napkins? Wait in line again. Its obnoxious. The meatballs seemed like the one that come in Spaghetti O's. I liked them, but weird texture. Also, place is modeled after British style places. Kitschy, but England has done some crazy stuff over the past few millennia. Went here for the first time recently. The 67 Alaska was delicious! My party also ordered food. I tried the Tutti Frutti flatbread, one friend ordered the fish and chips, and another friend ordered the BLT sliders. We ordered at the bar at the same time, but the food came out at completely different times. The fish and chips came out first. He was almost done with his dish, which he liked, when the BLT sliders arrived. My friend had to send them back because the buns were so stale and the bacon was freezing. My flatbread came out last, even after the BLT sliders were brought out for the second time. The taste was good and unique, but I didn't like having to watch everyone else eat while I waited twenty minutes for my flatbread. I also had to ask multiple servers to be able to get napkins because my flatbread was falling apart. Overall my experience was mediocre at best. I might give it another try though. read more
