I did a women's cut with Bob and he was absolutely amazing!!! I've always had very long hair but we did a good chop and it came out beautifully. Definitely just found my new stylist for my yearly haircut lol read more

I have had the absolute worst experiences at this hair salon... I've been going there for years on and off... I live like five minutes down the street, so it's very convenient for me, but not convenient when I have to go back a second time every single time lately in order for the stylist to get the look right. I work in the medical field, so obviously, I know nothing about hair! They ended up charging me $510 the past four weeks to get my 14 year old daughter's hair done correctly when they should've charged me 250 or $300 to get it right the first time! She sat in that chair for three something hours and then had to come back and sit in the chair for another three something hours, which was a total and complete pain in the ass for both her and I! I also had a horrible experience with that place recently... My stylist is the sweetest person ever, but she doesn't have a clue what she's doing! My hair looks like fucking shit, I had to bust my way through two managers only to be told to leave because "I was never going to be happy". . My hair looks like shit right now, so now I need to go somewhere else and pay another $3-$500 to get it fixed. I will never be taking my business to Roway Hair ever again! One time when I left that place about three years ago, I left there looking like Tony the Tiger!! Literally had strips of white hair, strips of black hair and orange hair! The stylist completely fucked my hair up, so the manager ended up having to correct it for free a week or two later. Done with this place! Does the pictures look like I just paid $180 (because I didn't get a haircut or even make her dry my hair all the way for me??)? read more

I love this salon! It's nice without being stuffy. They have davines product, which is very high quality and lovely. My stylist is amazing, she nails my color every time and I love seeing her. I don't see myself going anywhere else. read more

Rowdy Hair is the main character of salons! From the second you walk in, it's spotless, stylish, and smells amazing (none of that heavy chemical cloud--just good vibes). And then there's Charisma--their very own "First Lady"--welcoming you like you're part of the glam fam. You instantly know you're in the right place. Now let's talk about Jadyn... she's a total hair whisperer! She just gets me every time--no hesitation, no judgment, just pure creative magic. I can throw the wildest hair ideas her way and she's like, "Let's do it!" She's even managed to win over my teenage son (if you know, you know--that's a miracle). I could write a novel about how obsessed I am with Rowdy Hair, but I'll let everyone else gush too. Let's get ROWDY, baby!!! ‍ read more

Great haircut today from Maddie! Every time I come here the staff is always so friendly and my haircut is on point. It's never too busy either and the place is clean. Will be coming back! read more

Loren is the absolute BEST!! Got a color and cut and it was exactly what I wanted. I left feeling cared for and beautiful. Thank you!!

I went to Sophia at Rowdy a few months ago and I loved my experience! It was a great vibe and she did such a great job on my hair. I got a full highlight and I told her to make me bright blonde and that exactly what she did!! Already looking forward to going back! read more

Jillian is professional and listens to her customers. Location is great although afternoons can be tough for parking.

I've been to Madisyn a few times now, she kills it every time! Always so attentive and thorough. She's so fun to chat with too, will absolutely be seeing her again!! read more

Stumbled onto this place last min on Yelp and a bit nervous as I was at a getaway quick trip. Acacia was my stylist and she was extremely thoughtful looking at different swatches for the best colors to highlight on me as I am limited with dark hair. Not only was she so sweet and professional, she nailed the color! Within 2 hours, I walked out looking different! She did a dark tone with pretty red/ brown highlights. She literally made me feel like a hair model when she was done. It turned out so pretty and I am so impressed. Will be back! She is a gem! read more

Rowdy salon has a wonderful staff that are always so friendly. It is such a treat when I visit for my hair needs and as a busy mom I am thankful that they have such wonderful availability with so many talented stylists, since I usually only know availability on short notice. I have been coming here for maybe five years now and I am grateful to them! I highly recommend this salon. read more

Super happy with my hair! Jentry did an amazing job with taking my vision and turning it into exactly what I wanted. There's not been many times I've walked out of salons confident and I 100% will be coming back. On top of that everyone is super friendly and professional. I highly recommend coming here if you want a permanent salon you can trust. read more

This is a hip, modern, more on the higher-end kind of salon! It's clean, in a nice area (conveniently located near Desert Ridge Marketplace) with lots of stylists to choose from! I ended up here due to unplanned circumstances after my hair appointment scheduled somewhere else, was cancelled last minute. I called multiple different salons trying to get in day of and Rowdy Hair was the only one that had immediate availability. I got right in with a lovely young stylist named Erin. She is friendly, warm and understood exactly what I wanted! I was so happy with the results and have since been back again for highlights and a trim! They're also very active on social media if you want to check out all the stylists and their work! They make the entire process very easy and enjoyable from start to finish! read more

Jentry is AMAZING! Hands down the best hair service I've had in over 10 years. She really listened to what I needed as a new mom--I wanted something low-maintenance but still very blonde and fresh--and she nailed it. The blend is flawless. Even 3 months later you can't tell where my regrowth begins. On top of her talent, she's so sweet, upbeat, and kind and has the best energy. I can't recommend her enough! read more

As a guy, who never really knows what to do with his hair, Jadyn absolutely killed it. She asked all the right questions and factored in my face shape and hair type and the result was exactly what I was looking for. 10/10 read more

First time here. Was encouraged by the reviews. My 17yo daughter went in with long brown layered hair looking for a shoulder brushing pixie cut. We paid $70 for what can only be considered as a circa 1970s BOWL cut - one week before school starts. Stylist (Jayden) clearly took on a task above her skill level and literally butchered my daughter's hair. Just total incompetence. I'm livid. She's distraught. Now I've made an appointment for an extension consultation so she doesn't have to feel embarrassed going to school. Just ugh. If I could give our experience ZERO stars I would. Update: TY Christy for reaching out. Outside of growing out ~6 months, the haircut is unrecoverable. Only time for the hair to grow at this point. If you saw her before and after you would see for yourself. My stylist fit us in today and attempted a correction (blending the chopped layers and mullet look) but even she said she could not discern the "map" Jayden was using. It was just a BAD, poorly executed cut. The cut is easily 3 inches SHORTER than the photo and bears NO resemblance to the style requested. We now must go down the very expensive path of Remy extensions for at least 6 months. So please just refund my $70 and coach this stylist (who quite frankly and very obviously avoided both of us at check out) about having the humility to admit when she F'd up. We all make mistakes , but her lack of compassion was appalling. Acknowledgment of the poor outcome to my daughter, who barely held in her tears while I was paying, would have gone a long way. read more

I should have got myself out of the chair when the stylist had to ask another stylist to come over and show her how to cut my hair. This went on throughout the cut. I take responsibility if I did not explain what I wanted very well, but I did show pictures and if for any reason the styles in the pictures couldn't be done, I expect the stylist to tell me - they are the experts, and I pay for their expertise. I finally just told the stylist to stop, and I got myself out of there because I was worried that the more she cut, the worse it would get. I haven't cried coming out of a salon in a long time, but this nearly did it for me. The staff was very nice and very friendly and offered to have me come back if I wanted a do-over, but at that point after 2 different people cut into my hair, I couldn't take the chance. Cutting short hair is very different than long hair and a stylist needs to state up front if they aren't comfortable handling pixie cuts. $65 down the drain. read more

Love this salon! I got so lucky to get scheduled with my stylist, Chanelle, when I started coming here over 2 years ago. She is so attentive to my requests and delivers premiere results every time! I routinely get compliments on my cut and color. Not to mention she is a sweetheart . The salon is always very clean and has a professional yet comfortable vibe. The front desk staff is always friendly and competent. I've moved a couple times during the past couple years but have always continued to make the commute here no matter how far. It is truly worth giving it a try. read more

It's hard finding good salons in AZ (shocking I know!) but Michelle at Rowdy is one of the nicest and talented hair stylists in town. I've referred so many people to her and everyone has felt the same way. She does get pretty busy though so make sure you book in advance to lock in an appointment! read more

Hi christy, my hair did not look like this prior to coming in. Also, I booked a partial highlight originally and Stephanie was the one that suggested I do a full head of highlights. If my hair was that damaged to begin with... why would my hairstylist recommend a FULL head of highlights??? I never agreed to what you called "warm" orange hair. I wanted blonde. Not orange. Do not put words in my mouth and say that I agreed to something, when I never agreed to anything. Especially orange hair. It is clear to me that you did not see the photo that I had attached at the bottom of my first review. read more

Here's an updated review I called to speak to the owner of the salon today and the manager Sabrina was expecting my call. She said she already heard Megans side of the story and they have Decided since I'm not willing to let Megan fix my hair that they will not give me a refund. I let Sabrina know due to health reasons I only get my hair done four times a year. I physically cannot sit in the chair again to get my hair fixed. I just missed my brothers wedding and I just canceled my pain management appointment today because I'm into much pain to get there. Sabrina treated me horribly and would not stop arguing with me. I'm still going to wait for the owner to call me back and make things right. read more

I was excited to get my hair colored and cut . I received a call 20 minutes before my appointment by the manager Charisma letting me know I was booked wrong . She had my appointment time completely wrong and kept repeating herself with a complete different appointment.. she didn't even apologize and would not honor the price that was given to me on the phone . Horrible costumer service. read more

Found Rowdy about 2 years ago after a HORRIBLE cut from AZ Hair Co, and needed someone to fix it. I saw Lillian tha thg day, and she was a doll. Fixed ny hair and was actually able to make it look great without having to make it super short. Fast forward to last weekend, I decided on a whim that I wanted a change. My last hair cut had been from 2 years prior, so it was about time, and also my birthday weekend, so I felt the urge to mix it up. Decided to walk in and see if there was an opening. Surprisingly, there was! I got seated with Tarin about 5 minutes after walking in, and she was as sweet as can be! I showed her a picture of a hair cut I had about 5ish years ago that I loved, and wanted something similar to it again, and left her to do what she felt necessary. I LOVE my new hair cut! She did exactly what I wanted, without even having to ask for it! She saw the picture for about 30 seconds and knew what to do. I am super pleased with the experience! read more

I don't have a particular hairdresser to go to. However, the stylus I have had a great and friendly.

NO MASKS This will be a positive for some and a negative for others but I think it should be absolutely transparent to all before going in is that most of the staff, receptionist and stylists, do not wear face coverings anymore. Same with a majority of the clientele. Again, this will be a positive for many, but for those of us who have not have Covid and want to still be protected from someone breathing over for you for up to 2 hours (and/or sitting less than 6 feet away) please know this going in and go somewhere else if that is important to you. I called and asked for a hair trim to incorporate more volume at the crown of my fine/thin hair and was told it was $75.00! Through other's RECENT photos, o-o I don't see the work of 55$ let alone 75$ for a hair trim. That is all. read more

Just to start this off, Allison is amazing!! She truly took her time to come up with a plan to fix this mess another salon caused me! (dark brown hair w yellow strips all the way up to the root, just horrible). She really tried to listen and work with what I wanted and how we could fix the dark pieces etc. Allison is the best and I will keep coming back to her! After searching for what seems like an eternity, I have finally found a top notch salon. I saw Allison this evening and let me tell you, I'm blown away. I got caught up in rush hour traffic and ended up being late for my appointment. I called to let them know and they were very kind, reassuring me that I was still going to get my hair done. I was expecting a smaller salon, I was blown away from the size, cleanliness and overall ambience. My hair needed some major TLC, I told Allison that I wanted to make a major change, and that's exactly what I got. She was friendly, professional and a true artist with hair. I highly recommend these guys! Give them a shot if you are looking for a great hair salon. read more
