Best bagels in the whole world :) but really!! And the staff is super cool!! I have (and will) drive hours for these bagels. If you're near Biddeford it's a must stop. The shift meal, BLT, and vegan chive cream cheese are our faves! read more

They have really awesome bagels they are wood fired bagels an they taste great, very good pricing, the workers are very fast but efficient, an they are always smiling, great place to start the day off read more

My wife and I were first time visitors this morning. I ordered, and loved, a cranadama (rhymes with Bananarama!) bagel filled with vegan chive along with avocado. We were also thrilled to hear Lou Reed's " Street Hassle " along with a Velvet Underground tune. To paraphrase General MacArthur, " we shall return ". read more

I love supporting local businesses. The coffee is amazing. Bagels are the best I have ever had. The combination and offerings will meet everyone's taste. read more

Margherita pizza didn't even have tomato, it was just the sauce and cheese. We were not even given plates to eat.

I love rover bagels and every spread that I've tried (bacon scallion!). Great owners and atmosphere too.

This place had the best cinnamon rolls i have ever had! I also got the sea salt bagel with chive cream cheese, delicious! They even gave my son some avocado! Great customer service, cant wait to come back read more

Stopped at rover to try to get some bagels today. Walked up to the window and asked for a menu. Woman replied rudely that the menu was online, and so was the ordering. I asked, so if I don't have the internet I can't get bagels? She said no, and immediately moved on to the next customer who had just walked up. I will not be back. It is not right to make your business exclusive of people who don't have access to the internet on hand. Guess they don't want business from the elderly, blind people, or anyone else who doesn't have internet access on hand. Bagels were ok when I had them before, except the ones that were burned beyond being edible. read more

An awesome addition to Biddeford in what used to be a sketchy convenience store. The owners are young, eager to deliver good customer service, and have a delicious bagel to offer. They offer hummus as a spread so there is a vegan option. Get the #1 sandwich-the creamy avocado paired with the chewy bagel is the bomb. Pizza is coming next January. UPDATE-they now have tofu/cashew cream cheese! read more

Make plans immediately to buy a cinnamon bun at Rover as soon as possible!! Best I've ever tasted and I'm kind of a cinnamon bun snob. The bagels are great and rival Scatch bakery. Nicely baked crust with a soft and chewy interior. Customer service is really good. Pricing a bit difficult to understand without asking and the chive cream cheese lacked a bit of flavor, but the bagels was perfectly toasted and slathered with it so, yum! A little pricey? (The cinnamon roll and 2 bagels with butter on one and cream cheese on the other cost near $13) but it's a better breakfast value than Holy Donut, and I think you'd pay this much at Panera for something you can't even call a bagel, and sub-par coffee. Can't wait to try one of the bagel sandwiches (their breakfast sandwich is also excellent). read more

AMAZING pizza and bagels. The dough is fantastic. Just recommend eating the pizza fresh out of the oven there instead of doing take out. Would be nice if they offered some beer or wine and small apps as well as a variety of salads. What they do have is perfect though. read more

Defiantly the best pizza in the area. One of the bests pizzas I've had in a while. Fresh ingredients, homemade dough and excellent service. Everyone was so nice and accommodating. The only thing I wish they had was a better variety of toppings. I will defiantly be back! read more

We both said 'best bagel we've ever eaten'. Had everything bagel w chive cream cheese. Staff was very friendly and informative as well. Looking fwd to returning to try their pizza. read more

Great, unique bagels!! Delicious! Staff was warm and friendly! Don't let the outside building appearance stop you! Get in there!

Super delicious bagels and hot Tandem coffee! Typically they don't toast the bagels here (though they will put them in the oven on request), but if you can't let go of what you now about bagels and appreciate their amazing flavor and just-right chewy texture, they really don't need it! I loved the Shit Meal bagel sandwich with bacon, avocado, and spicy honey-- a super great dairy free option, which I appreciate!! Service is always friendly and helpful. read more

I do like their bagels, especially the cranadama. However, my recent visit was very disappointing. On July 4th, I arrived at 9 a.m. only to be saddened by the announcement that they had just sold out of bagels. I'm sorry, but for a bagel place to sell out of bagels?? According to their IG, they often sell out pretty early - maybe just make more bagels?? I don't live near Biddeford, so I don't get many opportunities for a Rover bagel unfortunately. And I'm sure some of you reading this will think, "Well, the early bird gets the bagel." And you are correct, but this is my review and my bagel-less perrogative. read more

Incredible wood fired pizza! Had a margarita pizza and tried the pepperoni as well, crust was crispy and taste was delicious! A must go! read more

Love the wood fired bagels, smoked salmon, and BLT! Can't wait to try more, and haven't tried the pizza yet on Friday/sat nights but dying to try it! read more

Thanks to my new sister, us newly weds were spoiled post wedding Sunday brunch with amazing bagels and awesome cream cheese from Roover! My papa is a huge skeptic and these bagels knocked his socks off!! Thank you for being great!! read more

Rover is an awesome addition to the nascent Maine bagel scene. The bagels absolutely hold their own with Rose Foods, Forage and Union. Good chew, nice crisp exterior. Great sourdough flavor. These guys are doing the work! read more

Stunningly good bagels. They are big, 4.5 ounces each, and soft inside with a mild chew. On the outside, you can really taste that they were baked in a wood-fired oven. I have never had anything quite like them. They are really, really good. You owe it to yourself to give one a try. read more

Amazing bagels, everything I've had from them is beyond delicious. And also very good Vietnamese coffee like some of the best I have ever had. read more

Hands down the BEST bagels I've ever had! So addicting, I could eat the sea salt bagels all day long. It's so exciting to have amazing bagels locally! read more

Went in on a Sunday morning and they were quite busy. The person taking orders didn't seem familiar with their system and it slowed the line down a bit. We ordered 3 bagels and wanted to have one of them toasted. We were informed that they don't toast their bagels but would heat it up for us. The bagels were just ok. It tasted burnt and kind of hard to chew. Overall it is a cool place but it seems like they could improve a bit. The chairs are ripped and covered with duct tape. They have a wall of refrigerators that are all empty and it seems a bit strange. Overall it was disappointing. read more

Lesson learned! This is the second bagel place I've gone out of my way to try. Neither have been good. I'm not sure what people are raving about. Bagels were chewy and hard to take a bite of. The plain tasted like sourdough, which I dislike. They toasted my bagel without asking me or me requesting it. I didn't want it toasted. It took too long to get one bagel because it was being toasted. And that was with no line and no other customers. The staff was very nice and friendly. The inflated price for a mediocre bagel was not worth it. As a native New Yorker I have high standards for bagels, pizza and lots of other things. New Yorkers, wait until you get home to grab a bagel. Locals, you seem to love these so keep on doing your thing. read more

This place has the best bagels in New England. The people who work here are terrific. And I'm always looking for a good excuse to head to Biddeford and grab a bagel. I love this place! read more

Rover has been open for just a couple days and it's already packed! Just went there for brunch and they were sold out of bagels by 11. If you're looking for classic New York style bagels, that's not what you're going to find here, but their wood fired bagels are awesome. They're nice and fresh and chewy, similar to wood fired pizza dough, and they have a great selection of toppings and cream cheese. Also seems to be owned by a nice group of kids. Would definitely recommend! read more

Came here in the morning last week to grab a few bagels to try with my family. I got three sesame bagels, un-toasted and without any toppings. Taking them home, I found they are very tender on the inside. The outside has a slightly charred, smokey flavor from the oven, like a wood-fired pizza crust, and the sesame seeds are toasted to a nice nutty brown in the baking process. We tried them toasted and un-toasted. I actually preferred them un-toasted, because the inside was so soft and moist like a French bread, not at all the texture of a typical water-bath bagel which is usually dense and has fine crumb. These are very unique, and have a slightly sour-dough flavor, which none of the other reviewers mentioned. We liked them a lot and they are VERY filling. Also grabbed a cinnamon roll to try, which are very good--filled with a lot of sticky cinnamon and slathered with a rich cream-cheesy icing. read more

Went in on my day off for breakfast, and LOVED it! I had a plain bagel toasted with Chive cream cheese. Super yummy, nice and chewy, wish I bought 2! Will definately be back! read more

We ordered 4 pizzas by phone and we were told it was a 25 minute wait. We took our time getting there and we still had a long wait when we got there. When we got home we found that the pizzas were very small, too small for the money. The crust was soggy for a wood fired grill. The sauce was tasteless. On the pepperoni they covered it with red pepper flakes which made it too spicy. The margarita with the tasteless sauce and the fact that they cooked the basil made this pizza not very good. The Special with bacon and pineapple was nothing special. They are overcharging for the pizzas and they are tasteless. (Isn't that a Woody Allen line,"The food wasn't very good and such small portions") They get rave reviews on their bagels so maybe they should shut down after breakfast. read more

So good. Excited that these guys are in town. Bagels are great, we can't wait for the pizza!

Ok first time there, Saturday morning at 8:45, busy place. Ordered a multigrain bagel toasted with vegan chive. Was disappointed there were not any veggie spreads with cream cheese or tofu. The tofu was different, made with almonds, Jury is out on that one. Bagel took a while but did not appear to be toasted, rather limp, but flavor was fine. Coffee cup lids took lots of work to make fit but finally got one. Nothing but white processed sugar for the coffee. Run by a young group of guys, obviously trying hard to please. Remember to try and please all ages, us older folk have health issues and need to avoid sugar when we have diabetes..... someday it could be you. In running a successful business I've learned that the old saying, "the customer is always right" has some truth to it. And one last thing.... I did a search for bagels in Biddeford, ME here on yelp. Rover did not show up until I typed Rover bagels, Biddeford, ME read more
