The bacon was crispy, but the waffles had a softer than usual (for us) texture. I'm not sure if that's normal, or just the batter and cooking that Sweet Memories does. I ordered the cleverly named "Big Breakfast" (8.89) that included: Three eggs served with two pieces, bacon, two sausages, a half slice a ham with home fries and your choice of toast or an English Muffin. The quality of the food is good and the prices are an amazingly good value. I'm sure that this same meal back home in Minneapolis would be more $15 for the Big Breakfast and $12 for the waffles and bacon. The service was a bit sluggish, but all in all, fine. Don't do that." I had arrived at 11 am, and it was just before 1 pm when she approached me during my Zoom call. Two hours. Quite the rude surprise. The rest of the staff have been so kind and, for four years, have never complained about my patronage, even when I stay for a couple of hours chatting with locals or working on my computer. Let me offer the following admonition: If you're going to play Christian music, act like a Christian. If you're going to run a business, exhibit a modicum of consumer relations acumen. Don't spring arbitrary time limits out of the blue. Post a notice if you'd like, but rudely approaching customers you've never spoken to previously with unprecedented demands is not the way to elevate your reputation But perhaps this is just one mendacious bad apple, oblivious to the importance of civil discourse. They also offer free WiFi with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, making it a great spot to work remotely or enjoy lunch. I spent about three hours here and would definitely come back. One thing to keep in mind: they're right in the center of town, so it stays busy. There was a line nearly the entire time I was there, but don't let that discourage you. Even with the line, both my drinks and food were ready within just a few minutes of ordering. Great service despite the crowds!
