8-7-25. As far as Maine bagels go, this is one of the better places. Their bagels are always pretty fresh and they offer a good selection of spreads. My favorite happens to be the olive cream cheese. The bagels have a somewhat crispy exterior and chewy interior.........but you're not getting the same as a real N.Y. bagel. But as I mentioned, for Maine, these are pretty top notch. They provide a good amount of toppings on their seasoned/seeded bagels and are a nice size. Definitely worth a stop for breakfast or lunch if you're in the area. read more

It would be helpful to have whole wheat or multigrain available. We live nearby, but get our bagels in Portland when we can, given the healthier options. Using paper bags or lighter plastic would help the environment. Many customers are travelers, and will only be throwing those heavy bags out. In case anyone reading this can access a Hannaford, Market Basket, or Walmart; they have bins for recycling clean plastic bags in the front of the stores. read more

Bagels were great. Sesame with veggie spread. Toasted to perfection. Chewy and delish. Service was flawless. No seating inside but weather was good so we sat outside. Iced coffee was also good. Did 2 takeout breakfasts. Bagels were chewy and crunchy and fresh with toppings on both sides. Everything, sesame and salt were delicious and there were about 8 other kinds. Three kinds of vegan cream cheese-always appreciated-and generous portions of lox. The coffee was decent as was the Arnold Palmer. Prices were a little steep. The staff kept the line moving. Parking was a bit of a challenge and they don't have a website though they said there was a way you could order ahead. Overall a breakfast I'd go back for. read more

We've never gotten bagels from here, but saw a recent post about them and made quick trek to Kennebunkport today. Glad we did! The bagels are at once crunchy and chewy. The cream cheeses that they make are also perfect accompaniments. The shop is nicely appointed and the staff was super friendly and helpful even though it was super busy. It pains me to write a good review - not because they are good, but because they are going to become very popular and then I'll have to wait in a longer line! Seriously - these bagels are amazing. I've been there for the past 3 days to enjoy their bagels and I'll keep going back. The bagels are very flavorful - I'm must admit I'm a big fan of the salt bagel. They are toasted perfectly and they are very generous with the cream cheese. On top of all that, the lady behind the counter is very gracious, friendly, and welcoming. I only found this place because they have a sign board on the side of the road. When you pull into the parking lot it's a little tough to find it at first because it's tucked back in the corner. Be sure to look for it, because it's worth it! There are also tables outside on the deck where you can sit down to enjoy your bagel. Fantastic bagels! Crispy on the outside, perfectly chewy inside with a great mouthfeel. My personal favorite was the jalapeño cheddar with chipotle cream cheese (unbeatable combo). Nice balance of kick and taste, can't recommend it enough if you like things a little spicy. The everything bagels and cinnamon sugar were other hits with our group. $$$$$$$$$ They make a good bagel don't get me wrong however the cost per bagel is extremely expensive!!! I'm from the NJ/NY area and prices are not nearly as expensive as their bagels. A bagel at KPort is anywhere from $2.50 to $3.50 a bagel!!!! You can get an egg on a bagel for $2.10 in cut throat NJ/NY! There is really no reason to charge $2.50+ per bagel. However, if people continue to buy and pay those prices then I guess they will only charge more in the future. I really wish businesses were more reasonable especially because of the economy the way it is. They may get even more business if the pricing was reasonable. read more

I consider myself a bagel connoisseur and these bagels are 5 stars and the only reason they don't get a 5+++++ is they area few hours away. A good bagel is hard to find.... living in the NYC area they claim they have the best bagels.... NO, there's a new kid "out of town". My favorite is the rosemary/olive oil, my wife loves the everything, kids go crazy for the jalapeno cheddar. I've sample them all but the new cinnamon and they are outstanding with cream cheese, great for sandwiches, even burgers. I hope they become available elsewhere.... otherwise it's a road trip to Maine. read more
