The Quick: Adorable and yummy donut Shop ran by some awesome young women. Only open during the summer (for now!). Get the bacon and fruity pebbles! The Details: What a cute spot! The family owns a few amazing spots in Kennebunkport. Our local guide and bff Mary helped us find this gem. The maple bacon is a must try followed by the fruity pebble donut. They outsource the coffee to another local shop near by, which comes with adorable mini donut topper... Enjoy! The Damage: Can't remember but it was reasonable. Worth a stop.

By far the highest cost per bite of any donut I've ever had (even higher than NYC), and not because of any special ingredients or artisan methodology. These are cute little donuts, about the size of a Hostess mini, and of similar quality-- maybe slightly more moist but still on the dry side. No seating. Visually pleasing product that's ideal for bridal showers or to impress a date. Not horrible by any means, but unremarkable and basically tourist trap gouging at its finest.

These have got to be the cutest donuts I have ever seen. They are the perfect size as you never feel like you are committing to just one particular kind. We got a box of six - mixed and an iced coffee that came with a free donut on top. Such a fun little shop, the owner seemed to be loving life and I can see this concept doing really well. I must say that they were not the best donuts I have ever had. They seemed a bit harder than I would have liked from a fresh donut. The iced coffee was amazing and we sure got some great photos as everything is just cute!

The cutest little donuts! Lots of different flavors. These are nice because you can get your donut craving fulfilled - but with a few different flavors (try a few - they're small)! I really liked the blueberry pie flavor.

Can I just start with: AREN'T THESE SO CUTE?? Satellite has the fortunate/unfortunate geographic position of being right next to the trendiest ice cream spot in Maine. It is what drew us in, as we had originally come for ice cream. I saw itty bitty tiny perfect donuts in the window and demanded a pit stop. They sell cute little packs of donuts and the donuts themselves were delicious. Not too sweet, wide variety of flavors, photogenic as heck, and almost reminded me of hostess powdered donuts with their texture and flavor. I didn't want to eat them for the rest of the day because I needed "the perfect photo" but eventually the donuts won and I ate them quickly. Definitely stop in here and wow your friends with the cutest lil donuts in Maine.

For such a fantastic little doughnut shop, I'm surprised there are only 18 reviews. We stumbled across Satellite Doughnuts entirely on accident, and it just happened to be National Doughnut Day so they were offering free doughnuts. I usually prefer yeast doughnuts over cake doughnuts, but aside from that I thought the doughnuts were good. The toppings help alleviate the usually dryness of cake doughnuts. The doughnuts are mini-sized, which is great because we could try more flavors. We picked up a 3-pack of cereal and milk, potato chip, and cookie dough. They were all good, but the cookie dough was our favorite.

One of the few places we went to twice while on vacation. Great selection of doughnuts, very cute on the inside, super friendly staff/owner, and bite sized so you can try a variety of different flavors without feeling too bad about your lack of self control. Ambiance/service: The place is right on the main drag so great for foot traffic and right next to Rococo Ice cream so do what we did and just hit one right after the other. The inside was decorated very well. Blue wainscoting walls, white subway tile, just a very cohesive design; glad they took the time to pay attention to the details however slight. Service was super friendly, our first visit we got a chance to talk the owner Colby who had been open for about a week. Food: Depending upon when you get there you may not have many options available to you. Our 1st visit was around 3:30 PM, so there weren't many options. Our next visit was around 10:00 AM and the there were about 10 available flavors. All of the different flavors were good, but there were a few standouts. The lemon meringue was definitely the favorite, followed by the chocolate peanut butter, fruity pebbles, and the potato chip and chocolate doughnut. Overall: If you are in Kennebunkport, you'll be close to this place due to its central location, so walk your ass over there and try as many flavors as you like. I'm pretty sure 4 of their doughnuts may equal a normal size doughnut so live a little...you've earned it.

This place is the cutest little doughnut shop in Kennebunkport. It sells exclusively small doughnuts around the size of a mini muffin. The doughnuts are decorated amazingly, making you feel like you are at a gourmet shop. I personally love the size as it enables you to try several flavors. I recommend the lemon meringue and the Oreo!

Tell me what made me think it was a good idea to stop here on my way back to Long Island. I have never put a more delicious doughnut in my mouth before, these were, sensational, divine, just sinful. What am I ordering? I don't know, so I asked the woman behind the counter. She told me to get their honey dipped, which is probably the last doughnut I would have gone for had I been left to my own devices. But like, if I'm getting one, I'm getting two and if I'm getting two, might as well get three. So I also ordered the blueberry fritter and a pumpkin spice. I walked out to my car and said, I'm just having a bite of each to experience this and that's it. I'm sorry but good GOD I have never. I have no words, the honey dipped are you kidding me!?!?! The fluffy, sweet, amazing texture, melt in your mouth, perfection. I've never had anything like it. The blueberry fritter, divine, pumpkin spice, incredible. I literally pulled over on my drive home to put the box in my trunk so I would stop taking bites. Anyways, all three were gone that night by me and only me and I have no regrets, everyone needs to experience this moment of utter bliss and joy.

Unfortunately, this ended up being the second worst donut I have ever had, and I've tried a lot of different donut shops. The lady at the shop was very kind and explained which donuts were which. I decided to try the most popular options: the Sea Salt and Blueberry Lemon donuts. Sadly, the Sea Salt donut was terrible! The Blueberry Lemon one wasn't as bad, but both ended up in the garbage. My stepmom is usually against throwing away food and doesn't have much of a sense of smell, so she doesn't find many things inedible. However, even she ended up throwing her donut away, which says a lot. I would not recommend these donuts.

I also got an iced vanilla latte - thoroughly enjoyed the latte! Four adults and a toddler sampled a bunch of donuts - sounds like the start of a terrible joke...These are my notes on all of the donuts and not a consensus from the group, in no particular order. Woopie pie: 4 stars - good flavor and texture, nice way to begin this sampling experience. Bacon cheddar fried donut: 5 stars - delicious, amazing flavor, served hot, good distribution of fillings; would gladly have this again! Margarita: 3 stars - definitely taste the salt and lime, little bit of tequila as well; glad I experienced this, not something I'll go back for. Key lime holy cannoli: 5 stars - love the texture of the donut, light and fluffy, good lime flavor and enjoyed the cannoli cream. Creme brulee: 3 stars - good flavor, the crystallized chunks of sugar were a nice touch; I had high hopes, and it was alright but not life changing - that's on me. Maple: 3 stars - typical maple donut, not overwhelming with flavor but definitely knew it was maple. Maple bacon: 4 stars - lots of bacon, almost balanced by the maple. Blueberry lemon: 5 stars - really great lemon flavor to the glaze, blueberry flavor comes through the donut nicely; looking forward to having this again! Vanilla holy cannoli: 5 stars - again, love the texture of the donut, classic flavor with the cannoli cream; I would gladly eat a whole one of these! Chocolate sea salt: 3 stars - good chocolate flavor, didn't get much of the sea salt coming through. Pomegranate: 4 stars - very sweet, good amount of pomegranate flavor; could not eat a whole one as it would be too sweet for me. Honey lavender: 5 stars - mmm, honey and lavender partnered nicely, sweet but not obnoxiously so, loved how well the lavender flavor came through; I very much so enjoy botanicals in sweet treats and lattes. Toasted coconut: 5 stars - deliciously sweet coconut taste, nostalgic flavor of something my grandma use to make, I really enjoyed it! Such a fun way to bond with friends and spend a relaxing morning on vacation! Would gladly get donuts here again, and now that i know my favorites, I can be more intentional with my order next time

The Portland Fog was especially delicious -- I love a lavender + earl grey combo -- though I wish it was 10% lighter on the lavender flavor. The chocolate & sea salt flavor combo was also delicious (though you can never go wrong with that flavor pairing).
