Great experience for a weekend birthday excursion. Expansive donut, sandwich and coffee/tea menu. Super friendly staff and owner. We had an allergy concern and everything was fully explained. Reasonable prices. Relaxed casual atmosphere with great music in the background.

Cool place for really unique donuts. Wife and I split an iced coffee and two donuts - old port and the s'mores donut. The s'mores was just what you would expect, tasted like a cruller base with marshmallow, chocolate and pieces of graham cracker. It was good but a little too chocolate forward for me. The old port was a similar base with a cake type of crumble on top. This one tasted denser, which I liked. It's a small place with 4 seats inside, and just as many outside. Plan to eat on a bench.

After an extremely disappointing experience at one of the super popular donut spots in Portland, my group actually ran into another group of super disappointed patrons that mentioned they were at Hifi earlier and enjoyed their donuts. Saw this place sold crullers and figured we really needed a win so gave this place a shot. Opted to get two donuts. The salted matcha cruller and the Portland Fog (a take on the London fog). The latter donut was a cake donut, albeit like an old fashioned style one. Was pleasantly surprised with just how MOIST the donuts were. Significantly more than the last place: My only critique was I found the frosting to be a bit much. Almost like it was a hard shell placed on top of the donut versus a nice glaze over it. Still, this was a pretty solid donut shop and I would definitely come here again to try some of their other crullers. The space itself is pretty cool. Has limited seating so would just grab and go. Workers are pretty casual and nice.

Highly recommend visiting this spot. My friends and I went for breakfast and it was so good! Quick, and easy to order. Donuts were good and their sandwiches and coffee were top tier! family friendly vibes and you can sit outside too

The service was superduper fast, which is really nice. However, I wish I came here a little little bit earlier in the day because I didn't realize some of the donuts would be sold out nevertheless, I got a twist and a chocolate sea salt crueler. I would definitely recommend coming here however definitely come here early so you can try all the flavors that would not be sold out later in the day. The place is downtown and super Duper cute part of town and I highly recommend stopping by there when you're exploring downtown.

Small but mighty, we came in for coffee, breakfast sandwiches, and to try some donuts. We absolutely loved these cruller style donuts! They were all so light and had great flavors. Iced coffee was affordable and good and the breakfast sandwiches were large and tasty, just a bit salty (especially the pork roll one). Food came out fast and there's some indoor and outdoor seating!

Fun flavors and they're oh so good! They offer a variety of unique donut flavors including: chocolate orange, boysenberry, apricot and almond cobbler, hibiscus salted chocolate, etc. I ordered the lemon poppyseed and maple crueler. Both were amazing in their own ways! The lemon poppyseed was a fresh old fashioned donut. The lemon glaze is a little tart and it was fantastic! The maple cruller is very fluffy - reminded us of a popover! Definitely unique and yummy. We both agreed we loved the maple frosting on it.

Yeah, this place is the BOMB. If you're questioning it or you're overwhelmed by the sheer amount of options (there were over THIRTY-FIVE to choose from on a Sunday morning!!), get a cruller-style doughnut. You have to. It literally melts in your mouth, it's so good. I don't have any other way to explain it. It's also worth mentioning that I've never been a super floral flavor person, but I was intrigued by the Portland Fog cake doughnut and the (super friendly) staff member cashing us out told me that it was their personal favorite, so I gave it a try, and it was DELICIOUS -- great flavor and honestly not super floral, which is exactly what I was afraid of. Post-COVID, they no longer have tables indoors -- there are a couple of counter seats and minimal outdoor seating, so prepare to grab and go. 10/10, so sad we don't have one of these in Jersey!

Delicious donuts and an even better breakfast sandwich. My sandwich was egg with ricotta and roasted vegetables on Italian bread. It was perfection. Coffee was fantastic. There's some seating and the staff was very patient and inviting.

The donuts were SO FREAKING GOOD. We picked up some for my friend's birthday to share. Three different blueberry types plus a raspberry chocolate. They were all great, but the blueberry with a bunch of sprinkles (I think it was called blueberry crunch or something similar?) was my favorite. I wish I were there for longer because I would have gotten more. Definitely would come back!

Tragically for every donut shop in town, I am more of a fan of Entenmann's uber-processed grocery store donuts than artisan ones--HOWEVER: Hifi Donuts is the place to go if you're a donut lover. I ordered both the nutella and their savory ham/cheese donuts, as well as the lavender lemonade. Surprisingly, the savory donut took the cake, as it was exactly like a ham and cheese pastry--ooey gooey and delicious. Pro tip: get it heated up. The nutella donut was good but not necessarily anything to write home about. The lemonade was fantastic and perfect after a long day at the beach! The staff were very friendly and the space is small but both tidy and cute. Not a ton of indoor seating, but the seating they do have overlooks Congress Square. Definitely a must try!! Can't wait to head back and try new flavors.

Cute little place with lots of delicious donuts and breakfast sandwich option's! Ambiance was great! A warm and welcoming decor. Service was great! Coffee was good as well. I'll be back for certain.

A small cafe in the heart of downtown Newport, they offer a few high top stools for a quick bite but mostly cater to go orders. Donuts were decent, though not as delicious as some others in the area. We ordered the honey twist, hefeweizen twist, Portland fog, peanut butter chocolate, hibiscus salted chocolate, and bacon and cheddar. We felt there was no flavor to the two twists. The Portland fog and peanut butter were the most tasty of the bunch. The hibiscus salted chocolate was more fruity than salty. The bacon and cheddar was delicious, but more like an empanada than a donut. A few in our party also ordered coffee. They said it was good. Service was very quick. If you are in a rush and need a decent coffee and donut, this is a good option.

We tried a vanilla and a chocolate donut and thought they were OK but, a bit dry and not to our liking. I ordered an iced coffee but was given a to-go cup and you get it from a canister on the side. So, we decided to sneak over here after a busy morning at the lighthouse with our toddler for a nice, filling lunch before a later flight home. We must've gotten lucky on a Sunday bc our wait for three people was about 15-20 minutes quoted and we spent 10 minutes walking the block to entertain our toddler, came back to check-in and our table was ready! yay! We had a great table in the corner by the window which was excellent with our toddler. Our server, Brian, was wonderful and super friendly. Menu isn't huge but, has enough stuff that should be able to please most. We chose a small fry with the daily dip which was almost like a mayo-based honey mustard dijon and was delicious, with ketchup and vinegar for dipping. Fries were crispy and delicious. We got the green salad and the Cuban to split and loved both. The sandwich was delicious and the green salad was light and refreshing with some really yummy herbs on top to include fennel which isn't usually on a salad but I loved the taste for this one, worked perfectly with the dressing. My husband ordered their house-made cherry soda and let me tell you, best cherry soda of my life! We ordered two bc I drank about half of it. They have a charming outdoor patio area with about 3-4 other tables. Charming spot - def. recommend! Wait can get super long - by the time we left they were quoting over an hour for a table since it's smaller inside and large parties can take up almost all the spaces.

After having some of the bread prior to our meals at a few restaurants, we found out the bread is locally sourced at a sister business right around the corner from where ate the night before. There is parking avail for customers in the lot for 30 mins, we prob waited about 20 mins and crossed the threshold into baked goods heaven. There was so much to select from - we got pastries, cookies, pizza and bread - and we pretty much liked everything. Our least favorite was the morning bun with walnuts - we didn't have it right away so that might've been part of the issue. Just note that the bread served at the restaurants aren't available until 2pm - we were leaving that morning so we weren't going wait for it. They clearly use excellent ingredients, that really help prevent overly saccharine donuts. Their seasonal varieties provide a good number of new flavors to try. That said, their sweet donuts overshadow what I would argue is their best donut: the savory bacon cheddar! Their description of "ooey, gooey, cheesey and delicious" is spot on for this one. I also generally recommend the maple bacon, triple C (caramel, coconut, and chocolate), and trying one of the fruity holy canoli. While all locations are clean, very friendly, and professional, I especially recommend the Scarborough location. The drive-through and reduced foot-traffic (compared to the Portland locations) can make it faster to drive there on a busy day than wait in the Portland lines! Margarita: 3 stars - definitely taste the salt and lime, little bit of tequila as well; glad I experienced this, not something I'll go back for. Key lime holy cannoli: 5 stars - love the texture of the donut, light and fluffy, good lime flavor and enjoyed the cannoli cream. Creme brulee: 3 stars - good flavor, the crystallized chunks of sugar were a nice touch; I had high hopes, and it was alright but not life changing - that's on me. Maple: 3 stars - typical maple donut, not overwhelming with flavor but definitely knew it was maple. Maple bacon: 4 stars - lots of bacon, almost balanced by the maple. Blueberry lemon: 5 stars - really great lemon flavor to the glaze, blueberry flavor comes through the donut nicely; looking forward to having this again! Vanilla holy cannoli: 5 stars - again, love the texture of the donut, classic flavor with the cannoli cream; I would gladly eat a whole one of these! Chocolate sea salt: 3 stars - good chocolate flavor, didn't get much of the sea salt coming through. Pomegranate: 4 stars - very sweet, good amount of pomegranate flavor; could not eat a whole one as it would be too sweet for me. Honey lavender: 5 stars - mmm, honey and lavender partnered nicely, sweet but not obnoxiously so, loved how well the lavender flavor came through; I very much so enjoy botanicals in sweet treats and lattes. Toasted coconut: 5 stars - deliciously sweet coconut taste, nostalgic flavor of something my grandma use to make, I really enjoyed it!
