We ordered the Eggs Panagura with kyufte and a breakfast Sammie with bacon. Food was flavorful. Though, for $4.50 for a side of fruits, they definitely could've given a bigger serving. There was like 4 pieces of bananas.. overall food was good. I wish the banana pudding matcha was sweeter though! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Service was good, and it felt cozy inside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I liked how different this menu was, both the fried eggplant and crumpets were very good. Waffles were a large portion but not very crispy, though the fruit and cinnamon butter were good. Drinks were good though wish they had more hot options, their lattes seem to be cold option only. Service was friendly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Menus are nice but pretty beat up looking.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I think it would be helpful if there are pictures on the menu that it look like the food item being served at the restaurant instead of random stock photos.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Also sampled the some of the potatoes but they came out very hard. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Cute space with a window looking out to the road, though with the cold Maine weather currently definitely some cold breezes coming through in the front of the house.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Came here on a Sunday, we got seated fast (2 people), good service and the foods came out super quick. It was good food and made order because the meals were hot temperature wise and tasted fresh.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]A cute little breakfast/brunch spot.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We saw the great yelp reviews and decided to stop in for breakfast, boy are we glad we did. Service is quick and with a smile, and the food is delicious. We started with the Mekitsi which are little fried crumpets with fresh fruit and honey. Everything we ordered was fantastic, but the Eggs Panagura was next level delicious. It's poached eggs sitting on a cloud of whipped feta. Yum. They have mimosa flights as well as several other house cocktails, beer and wine.

My boyfriend was born and raised in Bulgaria. We stopped by Nom Cafe for brunch on NY day and were very impressed by the food. The kifte and lutenitsa hit very close to home for him. Cheers to the owners!

One of the BEST brunches I've had. Their bloody Mary's were heavenly and the mushroom toast was out of this world - creamy, flavorful, salty, mushroomy. All the right things. Service was great - quick, helpful, kind. The vibe was bustling. Busy but quaint and very homely. The restaurant is beautifully decorated.

Quick service and the food was delicious. Enjoyed the mushroom scrambler. A hard to spot place but well worth finding it.

Great food, Bulgarian is not something I expected to find in Portland but it absolutely hits the spot. I probably need to come back tomorrow and mix it up somewhat, if I lived here I'd consider coming every week. Pretty fantastic!

We were in town for Soccer. We found this place after finding a 1hr wait at our first choice. Happy we did. Cute little place. We were seated quickly, although we just beat the rush. I had the Shakshuka and daughter had waffles. Both were delicious. A little pricey for breakfast but worth it for a passerby looking for a good meal.

Came here after morning run and wanted brunch. This was an accidental visit, but my belly was beyond happy! I had the kyufte and eggs, which is apparently a Bulgarian meatball and eggs. It was amazing along with my coffee. I was so glad and grateful to come here to satiate my hunger.

Before I rip them a new one, let me be totally up front and say the service was very good. Like many places in the Portland area, they're short staffed, and the people who work there are doing the best they can. Friendly, like genuinely friendly and nice waitstaff. They're doing the best they can with too few people. So, to be clear if any management read this? Your staff is fantastic. The food? That's another story. They used to have things on the menu like roasted Brussels Sprouts with all kinds of delicious. There was a pot roast, cooked over three days, which melted in your mouth, with truffle oil and parsnips and carrots. The cocktails? WAY above par. Now you may as well go to Applebees. Over seasoned, boring, and generally NOT worth the money by a long shot. It just tastes like all the other places who use Sysco or Gordon foods. I had the burger, which was so average. I mean REMARKABLY average. Yes, the lettuce on it was actually not just boring iceberg, but that doesn't make up for serving someone a mass produced, firmly packed slab with way too much salt. It says it's some fancy farm beef, but it sure as heck didn't taste like it. The dish my wife had was similar. Some decent ingredients but for the most part it was literally no better than what you'd get in something in a mall. WAY too much salt, way too little flavor. I also ordered a Manhattan. In a Manhattan, the forward flavor should be the whiskey (rye or bourbon or whatever). All I could taste was vermouth. AND it was served in a highball glass with a massive ice cube, and it was warm. The ingredients should go in a cocktail shaker or mixing glass, with ice, then stirred for at least 15 seconds while stirring. It should be served in a cocktail glass like a coup or a martini glass which has been chilled. Mine was in a highball glass. Not sure what happened, but I'm sure profits had something to do with it. You've got dozens of better choices in easy walking distance.

We also enjoyed the hand cut fries - can add truffle powder to it - and the spelt bread. For cocktails I had the dirty moon martini, which was just the right amount of dirt. Solid place, located at the Press Hotel. A few other things on the menu caught my eye that I'd come back to try.

So, we decided to sneak over here after a busy morning at the lighthouse with our toddler for a nice, filling lunch before a later flight home. We must've gotten lucky on a Sunday bc our wait for three people was about 15-20 minutes quoted and we spent 10 minutes walking the block to entertain our toddler, came back to check-in and our table was ready! yay! We had a great table in the corner by the window which was excellent with our toddler. Our server, Brian, was wonderful and super friendly. Menu isn't huge but, has enough stuff that should be able to please most. We chose a small fry with the daily dip which was almost like a mayo-based honey mustard dijon and was delicious, with ketchup and vinegar for dipping. Fries were crispy and delicious. We got the green salad and the Cuban to split and loved both. The sandwich was delicious and the green salad was light and refreshing with some really yummy herbs on top to include fennel which isn't usually on a salad but I loved the taste for this one, worked perfectly with the dressing. My husband ordered their house-made cherry soda and let me tell you, best cherry soda of my life! We ordered two bc I drank about half of it. They have a charming outdoor patio area with about 3-4 other tables. Charming spot - def. recommend! Wait can get super long - by the time we left they were quoting over an hour for a table since it's smaller inside and large parties can take up almost all the spaces.

Our waitress was incredibly friendly, sweet, and attentive. The food was delicious, and with nine people ordering all different items, everyone left happy. My personal favorite was the breakfast tacos--they were fantastic. The homemade jam was also a big hit at our table. What really stood out to me, though, was their homemade maple turmeric hot sauce. It was so good that I kept putting it on everything. I honestly wish they bottled and sold it because I would have bought several bottles to take home to Arizona and give as gifts to my coworkers. Great food, wonderful service, and a fun atmosphere. We would definitely come back the next time we're in Maine.
