I'm starting to think that sports bars are where I should go to fill my burger and pulled pork cravings. Not specialty restaurants. Not barbecue places. Sports bars. I loved my BBQ pulled pork sliders here, and the fries were skinny, burning hot, and crunchy, just as they should be. The coleslaw that came in the burger wasn't too mayo-heavy and the meat - crisped around the edges - was perfect. What was even better was that it was 4 minutes after happy hour and our super-friendly waitress let me have the happy hour price anyway. For $5 it completely filled me up. Ok so you can come here for the multiple HD TVs, the superb service, tasty menu, the not overcrowded atmosphere OR you can come JUST for the homemade chili. YUM! Surprisingly for a smaller local sports bar they have a good amount of tasty looking menu items (burgers, salads, bar appetizers, sandwiches) and selection of drinks. I came here on a Sunday afternoon to catch football and while it was busy, it wasn't overcrowded and we were still able to snag a seat halfway through the afternoon games. I've been to Riley's and Mojo's which all frequented this same space, and Roundin' 3rd is bar far my favorite. The decor is pretty simple, but in a non distracting and cozy way. There's plenty of booth seating as well as seating around the bars...and at least 15? 20? 8493? TVs hung on the wall so you have no excuse that you can't see at least three games at the same time. As aforementioned I was also pretty impressed with the menu. It has your standard sports bar menu items but with a touch of class and the food wasn't overly greasy and was well made. I loved the laid back atmosphere along with the really friendly service. Definitely a breath of fresh air compared to Buffalo Wild Wings. It has officially become my new favorite spot to watch sports (second to my home, since nothing can beat watching the game in PJs). The only reason I give one less star is because their additional bathroom was a port-a-potty =( Think it's only temporary, but not sure anyone's a fan of those things. read more

Only chose it because of the amazing looking food in those photos. Glad we came in. Quick and easy service. The waitress was GREAT. Found this place on Yelp after leaving the motorcycle show at LBCC. It had the highest rating of anyplace in L.B. - in a reasonable price range. The first thing about this place is that it's overwhelming. There had to be 30 big screen TV's mounted all over the place. The only place I've ever seen that many TV's running at the same time is Costco. If you like sports, you might be able to watch your favorite team here. I say "might" because this place HAS to be popular on game day, and I don't know if they'll have room for you. I sat down and ended up getting served by one of the owners (I don't recall his name right now) and he is a righteous guy. If I remember correctly, he and two guys he worked with saved up and opened this place in an attempt to "do it right." I think they have. I asked him what he recommended and he said the short rib sandwich. Sounded good to me so I ordered it. It was heaven on a bun. I'd give this sandwich 10 out of 10 stars. It's amazing. At this point in my life, I'm middle-aged and jaded so there's not much food that amazes me anymore, but this did. I also had a pale ale made locally for Roundin 3rd, and it was also excellent. I have two minor complaints. First, the place is a bit small for what they've got going. I can see where it's going to be packed when you most want to get in. All the tables they have are bar-height, with a couple of low tables thrown in for families. That reminds me; to the lady who complained that this place wasn't good for kids, let me say, "EXCELLENT!" Don't go back. This is a noisy sports bar and there will probably be plenty of swearing and vulgarity at bad calls during football and baseball season. If you've got kids, stay away. Let us grown-ups have a place where inconsiderate owners of children don't think they have a god-given right to be. We want to drink, swear and talk about sex and not have to worry that poor parenting is in the house. Besides, when it gets packed with rowdy drinkers during a game your kid will get run over as we don't expect to see them there. When it happens, don't shoot me eye-daggers 'cuz I'll be shooting them at you. My second complaint is also small - and fixable. The prices on the online menu are old. Prices have gone up. Please let your web-site guy know. I love this place and it will be my spot whenever I'm in Long Beach. My only lament is I live so far away that I can't make this my neighborhood hang-out. read more

I would give Roundin' 3rd a 4.75 but, the ladies that work there are always in a good mood and are very nice. The food is really good especially for a bar and grill. The mac n' cheese with bacon jalapeno is delicious (secret menu item ask for it and most of the time they can make it for you). The bronzed chicken sandwich is excellent, but I would have to say that my favorite dish would be the #1 of 2 beef dips or the huge plate of nachos. Every time I go, it takes me a good 10 minutes to make up my mind as everything tastes delicious. This place has tons of televisions, they are not a dirty bar, not too loud and super friendly. Today my boyfriend and I went in to eat after not eating all day, we were starved..we ordered the tater tots, but they were a bit greasy. we then ordered a philly chicken sandwich and fish n chips.. My sandwich came out cold, his fish was burnt and super oily.. I asked if I could get a new sandwich, they obliged. We also decided to get a pastrami sandwich instead. We took our food to go. My chicken sandwich was still cold and his pastrami were not thinly sliced pieces, more like 1inch thick slices of fat.. I went here for happy hour last night with my wife and it was the tits! Great food, affordable, good atmosphere, and about 9 thousand games on wall to wall TVs. Try the chili. I think I had 78 bowls. And they'll even dump the chili on some loaded fries which were the bomb! I have to be gluten free and it's really hard to find things I can eat at sports bars, but I had the chili, loaded fries, and tacos and didn't have any issues. I have been here a few times, but this is more a review on behalf of my boyfriend and his friends. They love this place and it's easy to see why. The staff is so friendly and the food is great. Normally, I'm not a fan of bar food but they do it very well. The boys will order the tri tip double dip or the beef steak consistently. Their apps are delicious. We are all huge fans of the pretzels or the tots (with cheese and chili) . They have a great range of beers and very appealing happy hours (2-6 and 9-close). This bar/restaurant is great! Their waitresses/waiters are super friendly and have accommodated our group on several occasions when we have gone there to watch a game. The food is tasty and has a good variety of items. The drinks are reasonably priced. There are big screen tvs everywhere and they even have a pool table in the back. The only thing this place lacks is a full service bar with hard liquor which they are currently in the process of building as we have been told! Roundin' 3rd falls in that sweet spot between a dive bar and a sports bar. The location here has changed identities a few times in the last couple of years, and the regular clientele has been adapting to each change, though the sports bar theme seems to suit everyone just fine. Who are these fine patrons? Long Beach locals, salt of the earth- blue collar attitudes if not defined by actual professions. The new ownership and staff are very attentive and take care cultivating new customers. On my second visit, the owner introduced himself and made an effort to know my name- he said he tries to know everyone. Moving on- the place is a bit Spartan, with the main decor being a solid row of flat screen tv's adorning the border of the wall and ceiling. This joint is set up nice for game day with Direct TV, they can get them all. The beer selection is pretty decent- with the Firestone IPA being my choice. The grub here is really decent pub fare with tender wings that seem to be better than some of the big wing places I frequent. Be sure to try the breakfasts if you can. Great neighborhood sports bar! TVs line the walls and servers are quick to put on your favorite game. The food is better than your average dive but still affordable, especially during happy hour.
