Pat the owner is super sweet and talented. He shared his story of how he got the place together. The man even built half of the bar himself! I didn't plan on getting food here as I try to stay away from bar food but when I saw another party ordered the tri-tip dinner I had to get it. It was SO good! I didn't expect this in a sports bar . Great Food, Great Atmosphere, Great Service!!!! We were looking for a casual place to eat. Nothing fancy, just laid back. We ran across this place on yelp and saw the reviews and of course pictures. The sports bar is divided into two parts but it still open and connected. There is plenty of space for groups or just couples. There is a pool table and an updated jukebox. The bartender (Stephanie) was great. She was the only server on a Wednesday night but she managed the bar and tables. She was very friendly, attentive, and walked the bar frequently, checking on everyone. The food was great. Everything was hot and tasty. We started off with the Happy Hour calamari (fried just right) with a dollop of cocktail sauce. He had a cup of the Happy Hour Chilli (he said it was really good). I forgot to take pictures... Sorry!! Next up the sandwiches. I had the bronzed grilled chicken sandwich (swiss cheese, spicy mustard, lettuce, tomato, and grilled onion) with your choice of fries, tots, slaw or side salad. You can also upgrade to onion rings for a $1.00 more. If chicken is not your thing they have beef, turkey, or veggie patty. He tried the Hot Pastrami sandwich (dry) extra pickles and a side of tots. I love it when things just fall into place. When a local sports bar feels like a friendly neighborhood hang out with all types of people from all walks of life - and everyone is cool. When the place is always clean, well managed and the food is stellar. I love all of that. But what I love even *more* is when the people behind the scenes are genuinely down-to-earth who work their asses off and make you feel like family. The entire staff are awesome - which is a testament to the taste of quality and training provided by owner's Geoff and Karna (am I spelling this correctly?). You can't go wrong with the menu, either. If you're looking for a great hang-time after work, or want to stop in on the weekend for a cold one after running errands (oh! and if you love sports!), this is the place to be. Way less chaotic than the 2nd street Belmont bars, but still a great blend of clientle and service. Will be back for SURE. In town for a performance at the Carpenter Center, but wanted to watch the ALCS and NLCS games before. This turned out to be a perfect spot to do just that. For those who haven't been before, there's kind of a non-descript sign that can easily be missed because the building is not a stand alone. Our server was super friendly and helped us with recommendations of her favorites from the menu since it was our first time there (her husband created the menu). I had the short rib melt which was delicious topped with smoked gouda and caramelized onions. I've had a sandwich similar before on griddled toast, which turned out to be too greasy. This place puts theirs on a potato bun which is perfect. It's served with au jus and horseradish sauce and choice of tots, fries, or onion rings. I also tried the calamari, which she said is cut and breaded per order; it's served in strips and the breading is really tasty. My guy had the mushroom swiss burger (my 2nd choice) and he enjoyed it with the side of onion rings. Overall, the menu has a bounty of selections (which is pretty great for a sports bar) and there are lots of tvs everywhere. It's not a huge space, but it fit what we needed and the service we received here was fantastic. I've been here when it was Riley's, Mojo's, and now Roundin 3rd. Love the new set-up, love the ice cold beer on tap, and my sister loves the mimosas. We stopped in for a quick drink and dinner...and the food did not disappoint. Yumm! Tater Tots loaded with cheese and bacon bits, YES PLEASE. I had the most insane grilled cheese on texas toast with bacon and tomatoes *drool*. I took my dessert to go, so I failed to take a pic...but it was a combination chocolate chip cookie and brownie, with vanilla ice-cream. I finally had the pleasure to try out this place as I've been meaning to for a while. I was quite impressed with my pleasant experience. My friend & I arrived at 3pm on a Thursday, just when the light lunch crowd was starting to leave. It was perfect since we arrived during happy hour. We were looking to do a few beers and have a pizza & some wings. Happy hour catered to our needs as all domestic pints were $3 and the mini pizzas (5" each) were $5. We got two individual pizzas for each of us, and then split an order of $6 happy hour wings (5 total buffalo wings). Everything tasted great, and our server was extremely nice and attentive. I do like the layout of this place with the wrap around U-shape bar and side tables/booths. The parking in the back was pretty open for us, but I'd imagine during busy times it would be difficult to find space. This seems like a perfect neighborhood staple if I lived in this area. We love this place. Geoffrey anf Karna are amazing. We have been there several times and will keep going. The food, service and prices are great. This last time we were in there for my bday and had a cinnamon toast shot recommend by Karna. Then the fish and chips to top it off and and few beers. The coleslaw was not sweet or too creamy, fish was fried to perfection and steak fries on the side were perfect. My husband got another pastrami with tator tots. Great sandwich and side. We were really disappointed in this place, especially considering the high ratings. It's a typical loud, long-in-the-tooth, neighborhood sports bar with decent service and typical happy hour specials, but my main consideration was their burgers, and that's all I cared about. Burgers are quite possibly, the perfect food. Simple, yet VERY easy to get wrong or ruin. Most burgers out there in eating establishments are mediocre, and rarely do you get one that is great...but when it's great, it's SUBLIME. Unfortunately, and much to my chagrin, this was far from it. I'm not going to get into all of the details of every issue I had with it, but will focus on the one the that is of utmost importance and arguably the most important aspect: the meat. You know that weird old cow flavor you get when ground beef is kind of old, been in the freezer or fridge too long or has been frozen and thawed one time too many? If you know what I'm talking about, you know it's funky, not fresh. That's what our burgers tasted like. And they had that weird color and texture that goes along with it, even though they were cooked medium. Besides the two bad beef burgers, one of our group had a turkey burger that she was also not excited about for the same main reason--the quality of the meat/patty. I don't know if the people who gave this 5 stars had the burger or were so buzzed that they don't know what they ate, or this place was just having a bad day, but I won't be back. Shame, because it's close and I was hoping for a good alternative. read more

What can I say...Food is bomb... especially the nachos and/or the buffalo chicken sandwich. Drinks are always stiff and beers are nice and cold. The servers here bust their arses non-stop to serve you. Tip them well, please! The owners Jeff and Karna are usually onsite and work the floor too. If anything is ever wrong, they will make it right. Been coming here for at least 3 years now and "Roundin' 3rd" is hands down the best and friendliest sports bar in town. P.S. Roundin' 3rd is the perfect place to pre-game before checking out the Dirtbags (Long Beach State's baseball team) down the street at Blair Field as it's just a 10 minute walk to the stadium. What used to be two narrow bars has been combined into one bar with top notch service, good happy hour pricing (until 6pm weekdays and 4pm weekends), a decent beer selection (including their own amber and pale ale), and good food. There are plenty of TVs and the staff is happy to accommodate you and turn the TV on to whatever sporting event you want to watch (Hello Dodgers!). The mushroom swiss burger was spot on with lots of chunky mushrooms, plenty of cheese, and a nice fat patty. Be sure to upgrade to the onion rings - thick cut and super crispy. read more

There are good sized tvs all around the bar so its easy to find a seat with a good view. The bartenders are really cool and friendly. The place is clean and organized. The food is good quality bar food. I usually opt for the fish n chips and or tater tots. Yum! Their grilled cheeses is also delicious. My fiance and I came here to watch the Blues v. Sharks NHL playoff game since we were out in Long Beach on a weekday afternoon. The staff was very inviting and made sure that we took advantage of the happy hour specials. They personally made several recommendations and were very attentive to making sure we had what we needed for drinks and food. One of the bartenders working definitely went above and beyond to make sure we had a good experience by telling us about their made from scratch foods and several of the favorites that customers get. They had a good TV selection and a wide variety of sports on throughout the evening. My only suggestion would be putting on audio for a particular game rather than always having music playing. We called in advance to see if they could play audio for the hockey game, but they said they couldn't. read more
