So glad someone told me about this place! Wow legit real TX bbq in Cold Spring?! It's a few min drive from Main Street but worth it since so many spots on main were closed early on Tuesday! Get the brisket and ribs wow Smokey flavourful good spices and tender! Service was excellent and friendly! Cashier was helpful and Joe showed us the smoker in the barn and was a little field school trip for my nieces lol. Thanks guys see you soon!

The closest you'll get to Texas BBQ, without a plane ticket. Fall off the bone ribs, sweet and hot sausage, juicy chicken, plenty of sides, it goes on. There's a nice smoky flavor that permeates the meats. The BBQ sauce has a little sweetness and later you have pleasant tingle of piquancy on your lips. You wish you could eat more; even when you're satiated. Maybe, your doctor might not approve of it daily, but now and then it's just what you need. Especially, if you've been cooped up and now that the weather is getting better; to sit outside under an umbrella, BBQ sauce dripping off your fingers delicious BBQ'd meats and a couple of sides. It's what the doctor ordered, to help keep your sanity.

Great find and a delish spot on a beautiful spring day. At the end of our meal nothing but bones and napkins were left behind. We ordered some meal combo lean brisket + spicy sausage & marbled brisket + regular sausages. Really didn't have a preference, loved both styles. Also had some fries, potatoes on the side. Nothing extraordinary but complimented the meat dishes well. Would have rounded this up to 5 stars if they actually had the prominently advertised Shiner Bocks, a Texan beer institution. I had my mouth watering expecting this and was disappointed they had ran out. Guess just need to come by again next time! P.S. this spot has ample of spread out tables for the COVID conscious!

Round Up Texas BBQ may not be much from the outside, but the food is a hidden delight. The spicy mac and cheese and fried okra are standout items that you don't want to miss. Don't let appearances deceive you; this spot knows how to deliver amazing flavors. The perfect place to go with family and friends.

Visited this establishment yesterday after a morning of fishing with best friend Pots & Pans AKA Mud Magnet (full disclosure, I caught 2 pickerel and a bass; he got SKUNKED). We fished and swam in Canopus Lake...very refreshing. Anyway, Round Up Texas BBQ is right on Rte 9, minutes from downtown Cold Spring. We both ordered the brisket sandwich, and I also ordered the friend okra. P&P also ordered spicy sausage (which we shared) and corn bread. Prices were very reasonable, and the menu very diverse. We both thoroughly enjoyed the brisket...very tender and moist, and the sausage, which had a kick to it. The fried okra was really pieces of battered okra deep-fried. Definitely interesting. He raved about the cb. Both our trays came with a small cup of tangy sauce. There was both indoor and outdoor seating. We opted to eat outside on a beautiful day. There was a pretty steady crowd as well. All-in-all, a very good experience, and I recommend this unpretentious place.

Best place for bbq upstate! Small hole in the wall environment. But awesome staff and great food! Outdoor seating is available on nice days. They have really good Dino bones. The owner is pretty a awesome too. I remember him coming around the tables to see how things are and is extremely friendly.

We four out-of-towners and BBQ lovers sat ourselves at Round Up's wooden outdoor picnic tables around 5:30 PM on an October day. A small birthday party was going on with a bouncy castle and a half a dozen adults hanging out drinking Buds. The tables were covered with food crumbs. We got the feeling this place was not meant for city slickers like us. Before we could get settled, dark and stormy weather set in and we moved inside. To be honest, it's really cool inside. Reminded me of the old West. Very very rustic. Old pictures on the walls. Wooden tables. I'm pretty sure there was a poster of John Wayne. No one else was there and it seemed dingy, but maybe that was just the dark weather outside casting shadows. Together, we ordered a variety of meats (I ate ribs and brisket) plus mac n cheese and cole slaw. And some beer. They were out of the ranch style beans and a few other items, which was a shame. The guy behind the counter seemed like he couldn't wait for the day to be over. The ribs were a bit dry. The brisket was okay but not the best ever. The mac n cheese was mushy. Maybe it was slow day and the food was sitting around...? I was expecting better based on other Yelp reviews.

Due to COVID, traveling and visiting restaurants have been something hard to come by. This is a rare gem of a space with plenty off outdoor space and vaccinated worker and employer. I am glad to find this place out of a random search for burger. We end up getting Texas bbq instead which is much better Our hiking spot is about 5 minutes drive from this place and it was easy to find off the route. Just be careful coming down the road because sherif is parked nearby for speeders. So don't drive too fast for you hungry folks. We came on a Sunday afternoon and there are 75% empty benches outdoor. Parking is not an issue except for those having decision problem because there are so many. To the food!! We got two combo due to decision issue and fries and potato salad. Combo has a mix of short rib, sausages and brisket. Portion is a small but great for the waist line right!!! Brisket is a little dry but it's decent enough. Right is top of the line. This place can sold out of stuff so be patient. We walk away pretty full after this order. Price is reasonable. I love the wood bench and paper towel. Sorry we ate all the food too fast to take some pictures.

Recommended by Andrew who's been there plenty of times, We came in and right off the back you have a Texas feel with hung up bulls and Texas flags and benches to sit it has a very humble surrounding you can also come with your family or a group of friends on a weekend afternoon to eat outside and enjoy the brisket, ribs and sausage, its soooo delicious!!!!!! also the side corn bread is super tasty and it goes perfect with the coleslaw and fries. The owner was welcoming and friendly you'll like him right away. I dont normally go for the fancy dining and picture perfect food this is my kind of meal. We'll be back soon.

Compared to other bbq in the area, I believe Brothers is a winner. The food quality is great, and techniques of prep and cooking are perfectly mastered. The brisket has a flavorful crust and it breaks apart with a fork. The baked beans have all the right stuff to make them excellent. Baked Mac and cheese is BAKED. The chicken falls off the bone and smoked perfectly. Candied yams are perfect and you can actually taste the butter that you're SUPPOSED to bake into it, (they're the only ones who make it right) in my opinion. We ordered an appetizer of "burnt bacon ends", and so much flavor, and fall apart with a fork. The cocktails were potent, so beware . Did I say enough about the food? Even the service was great. One of the owners even swung by to see if we needed anything. If you haven't already gone, go. It's a nice relaxed atmosphere, and sometimes has live entertainment. You'll love it.

You cannot order an entree with two sides included for "x" amount of money. This is not the norm and not very customer friendly. Here's the good and the bad. We'll do good first..............I loved their cornbread. Lots of BBQ joints do not know how to make good cornbread and even seem to consider it an after thought. Big Mistake. I liked the Mac and cheese. M & C is very personal. If you ask 10 people how it should be made you may get 10 different opinions. I like mine a little creamier but this was good, nice and thick and tasted great. The only way you can get burnt ends is to get them in a beans and burnt ends dish. The beans were good but the burnt ends they put in the dish were tough and dry. After chewing and chewing some of the pieces I spit them out. I love collard greens. Collard greens are one of the reasons I go to BBQ joints. Here it comes......they cook the greens with something (hot sauce maybe?) to make them burn your mouth hot and spicy. Why would you ruin collard greens by making them so hot that you don't even taste the greens? They went into the trash. I hate hot and spicy. I've never been to a restaurant that did that. Really annoying. This place is not cheap, so don't expect "typical" BBQ restaurant prices. But it's in an upscale Westchester neighborhood so I suppose they charge what people are willing to pay. More power to them. Keeping a restaurant running is expensive and exhausting. I might return sometime and try their chicken. I'll have some more cornbread and M & C and try another side dish. I'll skip the collard greens. My order came quickly and the man taking my order was friendly and nice.

For me, the main event was the original patty melt. You know when something tastes homemade, but in the absolute best way possible? That was this burger. It was hot, juicy, and dripping with flavor, with perfectly caramelized onions and melted cheese. What really made it work was the bread, it still had a crunch instead of turning soggy. Every dip into the Thousand Island just made it better. The onion rings were a perfect sidekick. Around the table, my brother-in-law went with the Nutty Hog and enjoyed it, my sister liked her quesadilla, and my wife was happy with her chicken. No complaints anywhere.
