Really bad service last week when I went to pick up my order the manager Graciela was in the front when I asked about my order she responded in a really rude and aggressive way almost like if she was yelling at me she told me that I had to wait! I went outside waiting for more than 45 minutes. Then she send another young lady to give me my order after all the wait. Yesterday my wife and I decided to try the new pepperoni parmesano pizza on offer at $17.99. it was 1pm and there were maybe two customers. We ordered the pizza and some boneless chicken wings and were told 15-20 minutes. Fair enough...so we waited..... ...and after 30 minutes I went to the counter to inquire where my order was. As I waited I saw through the hatch a large pizza being boxed up. My wife had asked for olives on half the pizza. I saw this employee open up the box and throw a few olives on the already cooked pizza....not good! When an employee finally arrived I asked about my order and also wether the olives should have gone onbefore cooking and told her what I had witnessed. She got the pizza and a manager who really didn't seem to care. She gave us a $5 refund on a $30 order. Not impressed. Not the first problem we have had at this branch and is certainly the final straw for us. There is a Pizza hut and an independent pizzaria within two minutes of this location and we will be using those in future as I am sure other people are doing- hence only 2 customers at lunchtime! What an attitude! You would think that support of a local business would be received in a more positive light. The young lady that brought my pizza outside yesterday was pissed at someone, and seriously displayed it! We were trying to patronize the our local Round Table Pizza, I really don't need a reason not to come back, but to the individual that served us yesterday, you are certainly giving me one. When there are transactions required between the business and the customer, use gloves, protect yourself, your business, and your customers ... only common sense. What I have seen since Shelter In Place has started is a lack of direction, too many businesses are struggling with how to provide take-out and curbside services. Get some help in improving your customer service skills and offerings, you may that it is offered at the district or corporate level. This round table pizza located on Main Street in Watsonville, ca. There are places to eat and to sit and wait for your pizza to be ready for you to take out. I didn't like the clerk at the register because she didn't want to let me eat the lunch buffet which had just ended at 1 pm ( it was 1:05). I recommend this place if you like salad bars. We ordered a pizza for delivery and they told us that it would be here in 40-50 minutes. After one hour of waiting I called to check in and they told me the driver was out and had two orders before us but was on their way. After waiting 1 and a half hours they call me to tell me they made a mistake and said they weren't going to deliver the pizza because when we ordered it was "too late for delivery." My husband called in an order at 7pm tonight for two medium pizzas and they told him it would take 45 mins. 75 mins. later he called to check the status of our order and they put him on hold while they researched it. They came back on the line to tell him that the driver tried to deliver to the house three numbers down and then tried to call us twice. Well they must have written down the wrong phone number too ( even though the order taker repeated the info back to my husband correctly) because the iPhone displayed no missed calls. Best round table pizza I've had. Better than any Salinas or Castroville Round Table; probably the best round table in the Santa Cruz county. I was genuinely surprised that the reviews were not higher but then I remembered Cassidy's pizza (but that's another review). I've never ordered delivery, I have only eaten inside or ordered to go. It's usually empty inside, semi clean (no greasy tables), and fine service. For a regular pizza chain, the pizza is pretty good and reliable. read more

Not Ready On Time I ordered a pizza online to be picked up at 5:15. When I arrived at 5:10 the pizza was not ready. That's ok, but it seemed as though the staff had no knowledge of my order. After some searching they found it on the computer and said, "oh, it was an online order?" My pizza was not ready until 5:30. Made me wonder if they had forgotten about it and then quickly made the pizza when I arrived. Got the Order Wrong To make matters worse, when I finally got home the pizza toppings were wrong. I called them back and requested another pizza. They said, "ok, you can pick it up in about 30 minutes." I told them I do not want to drive back there to pick up another pizza so I would prefer a refund. They then offered to credit "my account" for the next time I order from them. After about 20 minutes of being transferred to different employees I finally talked with someone who was able to handle the refund. Do not bother ordering delivery from this place. They have gotten our order wrong 3 times. Like really wrong, wrong size, wrong toppings, wrong sauce, .... Plus they lie, they will give you a delivery estimate by telling you it'll take 1 hour, but the pizza won't show up for 2 hours. Maybe they just can't do basic math. read more

Picked up a phoned-in order here. The restaurant inside was a bit of a mess. Trash and napkins around on the floor and it looked like only 2 people were working - the cook and the cashier/front of house person. There was a homeless dude who had just used the restroom and he was kind of milling about in the dining area. It was only around 8pm and I believe they closed at 9... nonetheless they had already put away all the items on the salad bar. And the tall wheeled cart holding all these items, was still sitting in the front area by the cash register. So, standing near that thing, I had to wait a few mins for my pizza, okay, no prob. When it came out and she rang up my total it was about $25 for a large pizza with 3 toppings! I told her I had a coupon and she told me there were already promotional prices applied. I couldn't get my free garlic parmesean twists cause no one knows the concept of a yelp deal coupon. So I then order two personal pizzas and twists with one soda, (I had to clarify to the cashier numerous times one soda) she gave me two (thanks for the free drink). I have an extremely disgusting complaint. I visited your establishment for lunch. My family and I ordered 3 of the buffet lunches. After finishing our first round, we went up for seconds. Seeing no plates around, I went to the front and asked for new plates. Gabriela told me no. She then said she is only allowed to give me one plate for pizza and one for salad. I understand this, as they do not want people to share. However, I asked for a new plate for health and sanitary reasons and she denied me again. Add the fact that clearly, my whole party ordered the buffet. I work in a restaurant, and this is violating so many health codes. CA Health Code and the Food and Drug Administrations food code requires a new plate each time you go up to a buffet line. This was very very wrong. I am going to report this location and make sure that this gets fixed. I am a regular at the Salinas, CA location, visiting at least 2 times a month and I have never had a problem there. However I will not be returning to any location whatsoever because of the dirtiness here. read more

Ordered curbside delivery online. Order was supposed to be ready at 6:09PM. I arrived about 10 minutes early and parked in front of the store with my lights on as instructed. A lady from inside delivered to 3 different cars that were around me. She looked at me as I was watching her to hopefully let her know I was there. I sat and sat as now there were no other cars around me and I had my lights on in the middle of the front door. Finally at 6:30PM I got out of my car and walked into the restaurant. Upon approaching I asked if my order was ready noticing that there was one order sitting in a hotbox behind the counter. A young gentleman acknowledged my order on the computer. I asked him what the point of curb side delivery was during COVID19 if I had to come inside the restaurant to get the order. He didn't even ask what I was talking about and turned his back while saying he was sorry. The lady that made the deliveries to the other cars around me was on the phone not 5 feet away from the gentleman and when she got off the phone she definitely could hear me because she was too close to not hear me talking about my situation. Not once did she ever look at me or acknowledge me when I addressed her to ask what happened. The gentleman took the food out of the hot box (you guessed it) it was my order. The gentleman gave it too me while looking down and not looking at me. In closing I walked out of there REALLY feeling like if I was not caucasian I would have been taken care of better. read more

I ordered a large pizza for carry-out on April 30 and was told it would be ready in 20-25 minutes. I arrived 20 minutes later, paid and was told it would be a couple minutes. Fifteen minutes I was still waiting. Finally saw what looked like our pizza coming out of the oven (it was our pizza). After a couple minutes, an employee removed it from the oven and placed in on a cutting table where it sat for about a minute before he finally cut it. Then he proceeded to look around, then walked around, stopped to talk to another employee, and finally went back to where the pizza was. He stood there for 30+ seconds, finally looked for a box and then put the pizza in the box. Finally after another minute, he put the box and slip on the counter of the pass-through window. The pizza was okay. Unfortunately the last 3-4 pizzas we have got from this Round Table have gone down in quality, not to mention skimping on the pepperoni. I do not know if the problem is the management, the employees or both, but the quality of the pizzas has declined over the last few years, as has the service. Extremely disappointed. Would not recommend I spent $75 on an order asked for extra cheese and definitely got charged for it but then my order gets here, 20 minutes early that's the only good things out this experience, and my pizza is stuck to the top of the box. So there goes all of my extra cheese. I even found a chunk of who knows what sitting at the bottom of my arch sauce how disgusting. So then I call the restaurant and all they can do is offer me store credit or send me another pizza. Why would I want them to do that? For what? So I can get sent another shitty pizza? No thanks. Definitely will not eat here again and advise others against eating here.
