Went there with family on a Sunday at around 8:15 The price for two large pizzas and 5 drinks was about 57 dollars, not bad. The pizza was AMAZING, the lady who rung us up was the owner, very kind lady I chose to write a review because I went in there with the idea that I was going to have a bad experience and everything was going to go wrong, I read a lot of the reviews before going in and had this image of what this place and service would be like I'm assuming they count the plates because there's no point in giving extra plates if they're just going to be thrown out, if you ask for an extra one there's no reason why they would say no She (the owner) looked like a first time owner to me and I know they like to be involved in their business, (looking around, staring, being demanding towards employees) not the best idea but come on, put yourself in her shoes Anyways, food was great! No complaints from me or any of my family members, keep up the good work read more

One star. When I arrived I was greeted but in a very rude manner by a man who looked like he was in his 40's or 50's, the whole time me and my family were ordering he kept rolling his eyes. After we paid we sat down to wait and I noticed that the cashier had a massive hickey on his neck which is completely unprofessional especially for a big pizza chain like this. After me and my family arrived back home with our pepperoni pizza, my daughter said she felt like she bit into something, she took it out and held it up and from afar I thought it was just a burn string of cheese, but as I came closer I noticed that it was a string, looked like it came from a bracelet. This is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. After seeing the assumed bracelet string come out of the pizza it is very clear that the hygiene level going on behind the scenes is being taken as a joke. This needs to be brought up with the team immediately or you can seriously get someone into a medical emergency with this. Never returning ever again. I do NOT recommend this location!! read more

Updated review is for their weekday 11:00am to 2:00pm lunch pizza buffet ($13.99+TX) which still includes pizza, salad bar & soda. Haven't been here since pre-pandemic days and then some because even though the competition offers a better pizza buffet, this one was an occasional fall back then because of the slightly cheaper price point. Upon this revisit, fast-forward to today...quality wise nothing has changed, in fact in some ways it's gotten worse. So is the price as they are pretty much on par charging what other similar pizza buffets do. Same ol, same ol: the absolutely unhappy, borderline rude, miserable and crass old lady is still running the place. I didn't see the son or husband from past visit but she's still there like a pus-filled, angry pimple that won't go away! Quality of the pizza choices took more of a downward turn. The selections today were pepperoni, veggie, Hawaiian, and cheese. The pepperoni was pathetic, maybe 3-4 burnt, nickel size pieces on each slice, some with just 2 pieces. Even though I'm the least fan of "Hawaiian" pizza, I just wanted some meat on my pizza, and what I got was a small paper thin slice of ham topped with a bunch of pineapple bits. The cheese pizza was dried out, overcooked and disgusting. The veggie was the only decent tasting one. A happy and fair medium would be if they had made the veggie into a combo? My biggest beef with Mt Mikes is their crust is very thick which this location strategically incorporates so they can ultra skimp on toppings. Nothing at this location remotely looks like their ad. Salad bar is still very basic, using low quality produce...limp iceberg lettuce swimming in water, assorted other veggies, toppings and dressings. It's always a mess, food items spilled into other containers, globs of salad dressing dropped everywhere. Some containers were empty when I got there at about 12:45p and weren't filled till the end of the buffet...what is up with that! At 1:30pm I noticed they completely stopped bringing out any pepperoni pizza; about 15 minutes later they stopped bringing out any pizza. At that time, the only area I noticed the grumpy manageress refilling was the salad bar area...again what is up with that! Oh speaking of the manageress, yes she still walks by people frequently, stares, comes back and stares again uncomfortably as though she's suspicious of you doing something. She should be managing the kitchen production and overall dining experience better at this dismal location. The only humorous thing was the nearly 10" inch straw you get with a kids soda cup, LMAO! Save your $15 bucks, skip this place and head across town (or out of the area) to competitors for a better value and dining choices. read more

Whoever that woman is at the front is just awful. She's the same one pictured in the video below who didn't acknowledge the customer because she was watching her show. As the other poster said the pizza is delicious but the customer service is horrid. She yelled at my husband because he used his water glass as his soda glass mind you we were getting both water and soda and they are both the same size. One is blue and one is clear. I don't know why she had such a reaction to this. I don't know if she's an owner but if not she really needs to be fired read more

Came in during a niner game was giving this place another chance because last time I was here I treated my family for pizza and drinks I spent over 300 dollars and the lady Diana I believe her name is was not only rude to us but turned off the video games on the kids while they were playing it was a hour and 1/2 till closing mind u the kids were bieng good I asked her why she did that's she said it was getting close to closing I looked at the time there was still a hour and a half ... we packed up and left early anyways came in to niner game staff still rude even when I said thank u to the man at the counter he ignores me and rolls his eyes and when he brought us out good we said thank u again and he walks away rudely never a smile never a hello never a thank u i will not be back but the pizza cook did a amazing job pizza came out great ! Thank u to the pizza maker ! But I will not spend my money there no more ! read more

This used to be my go-to pizza until one time I called to place an order and the lady who owns the place yelled at me for "calling repeatedly and not saying anything" I reviewed my call history while she was berating me wondering if I pocket dialed them but nope. When I said it wasn't me she called me a liar and said to not call back. So I never called back. Judging by some of the other reviews, she hasn't changed. This location only gets more than one star because yes the pizza is really good, the place is kept clean, and the other staff has always been nice. This wasn't my only bad interaction with her but it was the one that became the last straw. read more

I called in a special order which I routinely order at other locations and they initially wanted to charge me a lot more than usual. The manager was nice enough to follow up and make it OK. However, when I went in, the staff just seemed off and grumpy. Was wondering why Yelp has this spot at 2 stars but I get it now. read more

I love this Mountain Mike's location. The pizza is great but more importantly everyone there is so great to me. I'm blind and I just call and if I ask they will bring the Pizza out to me. Everyone is always so nice and greets me by name and takes care of me like I'm special. A+! read more

I was hesitant to send this but honestly if I don't how will this location improve. I like the pizza here but the customer service is getting worse and worse. My last few experiences were terrible. The pizza was still good but this last visit was crazy. The woman at the register didn't even acknowledge my existence until after her show she was watching was over. Literally 5 minutes into me standing at the register I started filming her. Please fix this this issue. I'd love to continue to do business here but not when I'm treated this way. Thank you. read more

I have tried many pizza places in the area but none compare to the quality and taste of this Mountain Mikes. The pizza was made to perfection and the toppings were fresh and flavorful (made by JOEL). The staff is friendly. Highly recommend! read more

While going to this location today the lady that helped me at the counter made me and my daughter's feel uncomfortable while dining in for the all you can eat buffet she was constantly watching our every move we weren't comfortable because every time we would get up she would follow us from behind the counter checking what we would serve ourselves the whole time we were there. She went as far as sitting in the dining are to take her break but she made sure to sit right in front where she could keep an eye on us it wasn't too busy there was another table there all guy's and when they left they took food with them she didn't say anything to them. We felt uncomfortable eating there and we were getting ready to leave we didn't finish our pizza and since those guys took it with them I didn't see any problem with Taking our two slices each since I volunteer at a soup kitchen and feed the homeless I thought about handing the pizza to them since I didn't want it to go to waste and she stopped us at the door and made us throw it away she said we were not allowed to take it that if I wanted to take it I had to pay her another $20 for it I honestly felt harassed by her I always come here and we always order take out but since having this bad experience I will no longer go eat here and won't be ordering from here in the future I will definitely pass this information along to friends family and coworkers who also go here I will definitely not recommend people to eat here read more

Mountain Mike's Pizza - Receipt for our meals - Pizza Near Me - Watsonville, California

I went to My Mike's yesterday to celebrate my nephews graduation. Of course it was packed in there with other families which was understandable. My family was able to find 3 tables not all together but near so when a large family left. We decided we all wanted to sit together so as the family left my oldest daughter went to sit down to reserve it as we gathered our things to move to the table the RUDE owner of Mt. Mike's (older lady) asked my daughter to move to let customers sit there. Excuse me lady we just spent close to $200! She insisted we go back to our original spot.,, Nope... sorry.... Anyways that is my last visit. I refuse to give my money there again... Cassidy's is better and super friendly.... read more

They do not update their website saying that they're closing early. I've been placing orders with them so many times And this one time they forget my soda I asked to see if they can re bring it back to me They say they'll owe me next time sorry delivery. Better off somewhere else now. read more

I want to give a one star to this pizza, place, the worst customer service ever, especially when the employees made a mistake a tall female goes and secretly talks to her manager, telling her my pizza was wrong in front of me. This is my last try. I know that covid has made things difficult, but $60 for a large pizza and an order of wings should at least get you a properly cooked, warm pizza. every single damn time my family goes to order pizza using this fkn website or app it doesnt work for this location only. why? can you guys not comprehend how to fix said issue because this service sucks, and no one wants to have an interaction via phone call when they just want to wind down after a sick day and order food. fix the fucking issue already, its been years. damn. read more

The woman in charge/owner needs to learn how to treat her guests. We are the ones supporting her business. We had a child's party there and she asked us to keep quiet. How do you keep a dozen plus 4 year olds quiet at a party???? Mind you she Did Not have anyone there except for us. Then she wanted us to settle up with the bill because she was leaving. Yet we were not ready to leave. We will not be having any thing to do with that business ever again!! Also did not offer 1 cent of discount, because she doesn't charge for reservations. Ordered pizza to be delivered for my sister's birthday. I tipped $9 on the order, then they scammed her for a second tip when they delivered. Shady place! Unconscionable. Good food and great staff an overall good experience would go there again with my family.

My family and I have been coming here for over 10 years! This is perhaps their favorite pizzeria in town! The prices are generally the same compared to all other pizzerias. As far as most restaurants go, I would say they're pretty generous with their toppings. Especially their simple pepperoni pizzas. Mountain Mikes has a very distinct taste that many people love. My only complain is that the crust and the bottom part of the pizza seem a little overcooked and crunchy, but some people love that! My favorite thing about this place is their Mon-Fri. pizza, garlic cheese bread, salad and soda buffet from 11AM-2PM. I cannot remember the exact price, but it's about 7-8 per person. Kids eat a discounted price! read more

I love this Mountain Mikes Pizza location! They serve a pizza/ salad lunch buffet that is very good! The salad bar vegetables are very fresh and the pizza is piping hot! I'm impressed with the rapid way they restock the pizza lunch buffet and salad bar! The owners are ALWAYS nice to differently abled adults who eat here! They greet everyone with a smile and a happy welcoming attitude. The restaurant has been very clean every time I've eaten here. There's a variety of video games for the kids to play and safe high chairs for the smaller children to sit in while eating. Pretty great pizza for west coast pizza! I'm from the east coast and this pizza is alright in my book.

So I think they make some really good pizzas!! Every time I get pizza from there I'm guaranteed some good stuff! The only thing that didn't impress me was the customer service, it's a very bland and not so welcoming service. A bit pricey as well! read more

First the positive....ordering online was very easy and our food arrived before the time stated. My daughter said her pizza was good. Now the bad. I ordered the boneless wings with their tai sauce. When I opened the container with the wings I could not believe what I saw. These things they called boneless wings were these small round-ish discs that when you bit into them you find out its almost entirely some kind of coating with a ultra thin piece of chicken. Imagine maybe 1/3 of a McDonald's chicken McNugget thick. Mountain Mike's has been around a long time and I'm really surprised they serve something this sub-par. I know they can do better than this read more

Soo good. First time. Pizza was delivered faster than expected. I would definitely order from here again. So good.

))))) FOOD POISING WARNING ((((( - My wife and I visited this Mountain Mike's location in Watsonville for their lunch special on Friday 2/7. We've had the pizza lunch special two or three times in the past couple of months with no issues. However, this time I had the Vegetarian pizza and my wife had the Hawaiian pizza. My wife had no issues with her's but as soon as I got home I felt the ill effects of my Mountain Mike's lunch visit. I went through two days of the extreme sickness that comes with 'food poisoning'. I called Mountain Mike's and told the manager about my experience. He asked me if I was sure it was their pizza. I said " Yes!, I threw up pieces of your Veggie pizza!". He said he would have the owner call me back. One week later no call so, I decided to write this review to warn future visitors to at least eating their lunch special. read more

Mountain Mikes pizza opened in Watsonville in 1982. I was in high school at the time and this was one of our hangouts. The pizza today is just as good as 1982. This place is still a family run business with a family atmosphere. The beer is cold and the pizza is hot. read more

Ordered online using the Yelp app. Got a confirmation email with pick up time of 7:35pm. Got there right on time only to be told (by Deanna) there is no order. Gave my name, phone number, even pulled up the email confirmation and still they have no order in their system. She doesn't even offer to make the order on the spot. I have to ask, "Are you going to make my order now?" To which she says she can and disappears to the kitchen for several minutes. She rings me up, doesn't even offer a discount for the inconvenience and to top it off asks for my name. Were you not paying attention in the 5 minute exchange in which I not only gave you my name several times but also my phone number and showed you my email confirmation which has all my information on it... yet you forget my name! Wow! What amazing customer service! I love Mountain Mike's but I see why this location has such a horrible review. read more

So this place stinks... literally. I didn't smell anything (not even pizza) when I walked in, but after I ordered and sat down I smelled it. Idk if it is the salad bar or the bathroom, but it smells like something is rotting. I wish I could get my $$ back because I am too sick to my stomach to eat now. Food arrived... the mozzarella sticks aren't great (same with the sauce that comes with it.) The pizza is good, just like MMs is suppose to taste so I'm not sure what the others are talking about. All in all I probably won't come back as I am a Cassidy's and Pizza My Heart kinda girl now. read more

On the internet, you are sort of forced to order online vs calling because there was no phone number listed. I ordered online. The girl who greeted me must be her first day on the job because she did not know what to do with me when I showed up. I ordered the meat version( Pikes) and it was okay. Not as good as the Trevor at Corralitos Pizza. But, it was more expensive than Corralitos. read more

I want to put .5 stars in this stupid restaurant, but the app doesn't let me!!!!!!!!!! First, the lady is messed up. She doesn't let people who didn't get a salad order get at least some vegetables and give it to someone who came with you. She even looks all CREEPY!!!!!!!! My grandma even hates her because my dad bought a salad order and she wanted a piece of chile and the lady didn't let her and gave her a bad look. My grandma just bought the pizza order in buffet hours. The only thing I like is the pizza, not the CRUST. I totally dislike the crust because it gives me a bad taste. The cheese, bread, and the topping are fine. I have to say the pizza is a bit salty. I don't recommend this place until the management changes. I still like the pizza but change the management read more
