CHICKEN BOY, gluten free crust
Jamie F.

Wood-fired pizza located in a strip mall. They make their own sourdough crust, smoke their own chicken, make sauces in house, and they also have several items on the menu that are gluten free. We had the roasted jalapeño poppers (don't skip the bacon, worth the add), heirloom tomato salad (so fresh with a yummy balsamic glaze), and the "chicken boy" pizza with the gluten-free Detroit-style deep dish crust. It had smoked chicken, spicy peppers, pickled onions and house made bbq sauce. The kids had a regular crust with pepperoni (the cup pepperonis!). Everything was delicious. The server was friendly and Tim seemed like a manager/owner that really cared that things were quality. They were super knowledgeable about allergens in the food, just ask! We had a beer and a cider and were able to relax while we ate our tasty food. The decor is fun and there is a good amount of space for groups of all sizes. We ordered more food than we could eat but it was all so delicious...I have no regrets.

Caesar Salad

Finally tried this place out and I'm so happy I did. We tried their pepperoni pizza and Caesar salad. Both were delicious! I didn't catch that the salad was not chopped, which I personally prefer. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The place looked clean and there is plenty of parking. Definitely recommend!

TOP 5 OF MY FAVORITE PIZZA PLACES!! Came here for lunch on a Friday and was seated immediately. The staff is very attentive and friendly. Very open and airy atmosphere with cool rustic decorations and trinkets on the walls. Got the Uncle G and Leah Lynn pizzas. Leah Lynn: Omg I still have dreams about this pizza. The creamy cheese is piped on beautifully in little puffs on the pizza. The star of the show was the orange zest. I've had peaches and apricots before on pizza but the orange zest was perfectly sprinkled on this pizza and paired well with the richness of the cheese. Uncle G: basically a salad on a pizza. Very refreshing slaw with a light dressing. It complemented the richer flavors of the Leah Lynn well. Very clean restaurant. Parking was easy as it's in a plaza with ample space

Simple small jalapeños.

Medium pizza is 20$ and super small. The jalapeños are thin and barely filled with cream cheese and on top of that they have NO bacon. 12$ for 5 plain small jalapeños. If you want to add bacon it's 6$. I can't believe someone would sell small jalapeños with no bacon. And the picture shows bacon. This place is ov

After Fruition, we continued our Watsonvillle tour at Ozzy's. I am going to proclaim that Ozzy's has one of the best pizzas we've ever had. Hands down. Just as good as Tony's Napoletana in SF and A Slice of New York in San Jose. We sat at the pizza bar where we could watch them make them toss, bake, and dress the pizzas! We met the owner Tim and he was really nice. A sweet, proud grandpa with a LEGENDARY pizza background. We ordered Ozzy's Mama: House made Italian sausage, olive oil, garlic, and parmesan. Finished with burrata, habanero jelly and orange zest. The moment the pizza arrives, your senses are filled with the fresh scent of oranges. Have you ever ridden Soarin' Over California? IYKYK. The sweet n' spicy habanero jelly literally melted into the stretchy, creamy, milky stracciatella. It was the definition of a Flavor Bomb. And the orange zest gave it that sumthin' sumthin'. Tim is a flavor artist. He was super cute and gave us some crunchy, refreshing sesame oil and rice vinegar slaw to try, and sweet orange slices for dessert. What a hidden gem in a Watsonvillle strip mall. We will definitely be back!

5/5 stars without a doubt! Moved to Watsonville from Oakland and was struggling to find good food in Watsonville. However, since discovering Ozzy's my family and I have been coming here at least once a week. I've enjoyed basically every pizza that I've tried. Highly recommend trying their appetizers, I've enjoyed every single one so far! Service is always 10/10. Owner is always super welcoming and understanding of my little one. He's even provided him with cotton candy at times. Ambiance is super nice but can get crowded and busy, meaning your pizza might be delayed due to the amount of ppl present.

The outdoor area is pretty cool, there is cornhole and other games to play. I like all the picnic tables for you to find a spot and hang out at after you get your drinks and or food. When you're inside you walk up to a counter and order your drinks and food. There are also coolers where you can pick out unique beers. We didnt get food this time as we had just come for dinner, but everything we saw looked pretty tasty. The prices weren't too bad, pretty moderate. The service was great, all employees that we encountered were super nice and friendly. It was also pretty clean given the fact that it was the middle of a busy Saturday night. The only thing that kept this from being a 5 star review is that there could have been more tables inside. I felt like there was alot of dead space that could have been better utilized. It was pretty chilly the night we went, so sitting outside without a heater was a bit of a buzz kill and we would have stayed longer had we had a different place to hangout. All in all, cool spot, good people, good drinks, good vibe!

I bought snack food here in October 2017 on a morning break. I remember it because the woman behind the counter was really pushing me to return on my "next break". I think she even told me her name - like we were "friends now" and I "wouldn't let her down". Because it felt weird (when have I ever gone to a convenience store and gotten a high pressure type sale? It doesn't happen.) I specifically didn't return. Today I went again, but I nearly instantly regretted it. I took a photo of a strawberry candy flavored for online friends who grew up in Watsonville and miss the town and what it's known for (strawberries being one). I did it "for fun", but apparently taking a photo of it makes me some sort of a criminal. I was told not to take photos so I stopped. No biggie. But it didn't end there. The guy went *on and on* saying "if that is all you are here for I'm going to have to ask you to leave". Now he is pissing me off. DON'T MAKE ASSUMPTIONS. ITS NOT EVEN CLOSE TO "ALL I WAS THERE FOR". What am I? In the liquor store business trying to rip off their ideas? No. I'm on BREAK looking for CHIPS. If I were in the same business? I would do a FAR better job. I guess he didnt believe me that I was there for food. I guess it was "suspect" that I looked at all the stuff they had for sale to eat. At this point since he wouldn't stop harassing me I said I would just leave. And I did. So now I'm standing in the parking lot thinking "where can I go buy chips?" The same guy (maybe 30, tall, muscular, dark complexion) was on a phone and followed me out. It was quite the production. I didn't need a food break that bad. Now he says he wants to see my badge hanging on my keys. HELL NO. I put my badge in my pocket. He is acting really weird and I don't want some freak knowing my name. Call the police and have THEM look at my badge. I'm good with that. Him? No. He said he was on the phone with his boss (that should be reserved for a crime, just sayin.). Maybe he was lying. Who TF knows. The guy is going on and on asking me WHY I would take a photo. I told him ***more than once*** why. People like to see and talk about their home town. He wasn't getting it. I love history and enjoy making people happy by showing them pictures of their gorgeous hometown with crops sprouting up around here, or anything unique to the area like strawberries and old Victorians. Its not a crime. Last week I told the same friends "Super Max Grocery" closed down a few doors away. Why the 3rd degree? Because I'm female? Just post a clear sign and none of this would have happened. Because he was acting like I was here to rip off his "marketing strategy" (it just looked like your typical Hispanic liquor store), I made it CLEAR that my work has NOTHING to do with the grocery/liquor store business, I am not "moving in next door and trying to compete with their business". I just wanted some damn chips and a drink. I actually had to SAY this to him. Are you kidding me? Now he asks me to delete the photos in my phone and he wants to watch me do it. I deleted the photos AND DIDN'T LET HIM WATCH. I don't want a guy like him THAT close to me complete with the attitude of "I'm going to have ask you to leave". He was still going on and on. I told him !I JUST WANT LUNCH! Maybe he finally understood those words as he FINALLY left me alone. Had it gone on any longer you better believe I would have called 9-1-1. I guess now I can stand OUTSIDE and take a photo of the parking lot which has a strawberry on the sign which will make my friends happy. ..... I went to my amazing friends at Ace Hardware next door and got a chocolate milk, a Payday bar, and some hardware. I told my "friend" there what happened and he said "I'm not surprised." He said he had some sort of problem there also. He used the word subservient. There are lots of other liquor stores (ie: Manny at Aptos Village Liquors)- no need to give these people your money. He has the right to ask for no photos in his store, but he should ALSO have it clearly posted in the store to not take photos. He said there is a sign. I walked all over and didn't see ANY signs so he obviously didn't do a good enough job. I think that is a lie. I have never seen such a sign in that kind of store that sells Bud Light and Ding Dongs. His stance, insinuating that "all I'm there for was to take photos" (weird), getting on the phone, and wanting to see my badge was simply too much which IS my issue today. Keep walking. Seriously.
