Orlando D.

Huge shoutout to David and Mohammed at Round Table Pizza, 408 Bailey Rd, Pittsburg, CA. I told my kids they could choose what they wanted for breakfast, and they picked Round Table Pizza. We showed up around 10am, not realizing they don't open until 11. As we were walking away, David noticed us and opened the door to ask if we needed anything. He offered to make us a pizza to go, which already made my kids excited, but they were really hoping to dine in. David went the extra mile and checked with Mohammed, and together they allowed us to come in and eat. The moment they said yes, my kids lit up with excitement. That kind of customer service and kindness is rare and truly appreciated. David and Mohammed turned a simple morning into a special memory for my family. We'll definitely be coming back. Thank you both!

I am very disappointed with the experience my kids had yesterday at Round Table Pizza. Ordered 03-11-2026 at 7:09 PM. Bring this pizza back to them. 03- 11-2026 at 7:37 PM. They were served a pizza that was clearly undercooked. The dough was still raw in parts, which is unacceptable and potentially unsafe to eat, especially for children. What made the situation even worse was the customer service. When the issue was brought to the staff's attention, there was no apology and no effort to properly address the mistake. Serving undercooked food is already a serious problem, but showing no concern or accountability afterward is extremely disappointing. Restaurants have a responsibility to ensure that the food they serve is safe and properly prepared. I hope the management takes this issue seriously, improves food safety practices, and provides better customer service in the future so other families do not have the same experience.

Solid 4 stars! Slice…read moreHouse is located in downtown Walnut Creek on Mt Diablo Blvd between Main St and Locust St. There are just a couple of bar top seats and tables inside but there is a covered outdoor seating area just to the left of the restaurant. I love the Motorhead Detroit style pizza! There's a generous amount of mushrooms, pepperoni, bacon bits, sausage and ricotta cheese. It's well worth the $8.20/slice and you'll be full. I grabbed two slices recently and ended up splitting it across two meals. The crust along the pizza edge is gold! The Combo Americano is another one of my favorites here and is topped with pepperoni, sausage, olives, mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, bacon, salami, and tomatoes. I've also ordered their New York style pizzas as well - Pepperoni and cheese are always favorites for the family. However, if you're at Slice House, you have to try their Detroit Style pizzas! Service here is decent overall...nothing particularly memorable. Be sure to join their rewards program to accumulate points and earn rewards. There is a $5 off your first order coupon just for signing up. However, the fine print isn't clear on the app and it's off of a $15+ order.

We came here because my sister remembered seeing this place every time we drove by, so we just had to stop by. I got the Hawaiian pizza Detroit style, and when it came out, boy it was pretty big. That's unacceptable when customers are spending time and gas based on the information provided. Beyond that, the concept feels all over the place. The branding is confusing, trying to be a pizza place, burger joint, sandwich shop, wing spot, salad shop, and kids arcade all at the same time. Nothing about the storefront or presentation communicates a clear identity. The arcade area also appeared cluttered and disorganized rather than family-friendly. My family came here a few weeks ago and we were so impressed!…read more It's funny because just by looking at the place from the outside, it looks like an Olive Garden type spot in terms of dining experience, but when you come inside you notice it's a much more luxe looking restaurant. Good for date night, girls night, or family. Very versatile! We ate on the patio which worked great as we have a 3 year old who was having a tough time staying still and being quiet. My husband and I didn't have incredibly high expectations for the food. Not sure why, but we figured it would be good but average. But man, we were wrong! Our pastas were some of the best I've had in a loooong time. My husband got the pomodoro which you could just tell was made with perfectly ripe tomatoes, some of the best sauce I've ever had to be honest. I got the pesto which came with loots of yummy sauce, and homemade thick noodles. I got the side Caesar salad too which was very delicious. The house made dressing was incredible! We got a kid's pizza for my son which I thought was well sized so even if you have a big eater I feel like they'd still be full. One downside is the bread is not included. Waaaah. A well sized bread basket is only about $4 though, so not too bad. They also have fancier bread you can opt for too. I will say the pricing is - well - it's Walnut Creek. haha I would say that while sometimes you leave a restaurant in downtown Walnut Creek thinking "Man I paid so much for average food", at least here you can say "Man I paid a lot for really good food." You can tell this menu is curated by a trained chef. Would we return? Most definitely!

The chopped salad was also standout with really great flavor. The carbonara was tasty and well-made, though fairly standard compared to what you get at other spots. Pickup was seamless and extremely fast--just a heads-up that for takeout pickups, you go in through the back door entrance rather than the main front door. Would definitely order again!
