We've been searching for a good pizza place in Oakley and found this one on Yelp. We noticed this place whenever we drive through Main St and we finally tried them. The service is fast, and they notify you when your pizza is ready. We ordered their small Prego pizza. For 2 people, this size is enough. There's a lot of meat on this pizza. The dough is not thin crust and it's generous on their fillings. We enjoyed this pizza and loved the size and flavor. Next time, we will try their other options/specialty on their menu.

Went here for dinner, wish we have reservations prior coz it took 30 mins before we got a seat, ordered right away, but took too long for our orders to arrive.Since we are seating at the back near the door leading to patio, cold air get in everytime someone opens it.food is really good,on point on taste,

Stopped here today for lunch with my wife, one of our kids, my sister, mom, step-dad, my cousin and her husband. The food was pretty good. You can't really go wrong with the pizza here. We all love the decor here. The service was a bit slow, but it looked like they might have been understaffed and got hit with a lunch rush, so I forgive them. I ordered a combination Calzone. The thing was yuuuuuge. It didn't really hit the way I had hoped, though. All in all we love Skips. If you're a pizza person, you can't go wrong here.

Best old fashioned I've had in recent memories. I retract my previous post about them not making them well. Orange peel oil squeeze, rubbed rim, luxardo cherries (×3), and basil hayden. Syd is the bomb

Skipokini's pizza is an East Bay Staple and it's been around this long for a reason. The pizza is always amazing, the service is quick and prompt and the joint has all the old school pizza atmosphere that you could ask for. Skips is a 10/10.

My first time at this location. Excellent customer service from the staff. The food was delicious. I love the outdoor and the indoor dining this time we decided to do indoors. I definitely highly suggest this place. I do love the pizzas. Once again, thank you to the amazing staff I had such a great time.

We stopped by Skipolini's last Friday and had a mostly great experience, with a few quirks worth mentioning. When we arrived, there was no host at the front counter. After waiting a bit, a young lady came over and asked us to walk in front of her to our table, which felt a bit awkward--definitely not the warmest welcome. We were seated in the downstairs bar area, where another server brought us menus after a short wait and later took our drink order. We tried the Skip's Moscow Mule and the Mystic Margarita, and both were fantastic--refreshing, well-balanced. For food, we ordered a medium pizza, half Margherita and half combination with extra onions and cheese. The crust was just the right amount of crispy, and every bite had great flavor. Honestly, the kitchen really delivered. All the staff we interacted with were kind and professional. The only downside was the slow service at the start. Even a quick acknowledgment when guests arrive would help set a better tone. The food was five-star, but because of the service hiccup, I'd rate the overall experience four stars. Still, I'd come back--it's worth it for the drinks and that pizza!

Let me start by saying I love love love Skipolini's pizza. I worked at the Walnut Creek location many years ago and it's an all time favorite. This was my first time visiting the Oakley location, I've only ever ordered to go from here which has always been a good experience. We came in on a Sunday evening and it was pretty busy. Our server Ashley was very sweet, we were appreciative of her attentive service. It took quite a while to get our food but the pizza was amazing as always so it was worth the wait. I love that they have the little play area to keep the kids distracted while waiting for food. I wish I could leave this review a 5 star but the cleanliness of the restaurant was lacking. The host sat us at a booth that had pizza crumbs all over the seats. I had to wipe down myself before we sat down. Then I look up and the vent right above our table was caked with disgusting dust (as seen in photo). The windowsill at our booth looked like they hadn't been wiped down in a long time. And the bathrooms... yikes. The trash was overflowing with paper towels dumping onto the floor. The stalls were gross. It was disappointing. As a customer it's just a real turn off. It makes me not want to eat somewhere no matter how good the food is if I feel like it's not a clean establishment.

Are we able to bring a birthday cake in? Thinking of celebrating my daughter's birthday with family there for dinner.

I brought a pretty big cake in and they stored it in the fridge until we were done will diner, then brought it out to us!

Left a message and was waiting to hear back from a manager to rent the upstairs dining area and no one ever called back. Any suggestions on how to get a call back?

Hi Erick, I'm sorry to heard that no one has called you back. Its there number I can call you?…

Most importantly, if they can't remember every detail of an order by trying to memorize it, have them write it down!! Period. This is a skill not everyone possesses. We will definitely be back as the food was pretty good. But I hate spending $120 for dinner in basically a sports bar, get mediocre Service and they expect a 20% tip. (Which I still gave) This was just a few of the things we dealt with. It wasn't really crowded so do like other restaurants. Make sure the item is tagged for the right table and anybody can bring it out. It doesn't have to be the server as I know they're attending to other tables.

Although people post pictures of the food-- the menu is constantly rotating and changing on a day-to-day basis and a seasonal basis so the food you see might not always be the same menu. I really like that because it makes it a consistent date spot because the food is constantly changing and it's a new experience every time. The food itself was amazing because everything's handmade and farm-to-table. Everything is seasoned so nicely, presented, with super fresh quality ingredients. You can tell the kitchen staff are highly trained and have exquisite taste buds. Would recommend for anyone looking for a new date spot, cocktail bar, or special restaurant for a special occasion!

Unfortunately, the bar and the kitchen just didn't deliver. My Gin & Tonic was a hazard; it was so completely overloaded with peppercorns that I felt like I was chewing my drink and had to spit them out after every sip. For food, the corn elote lacked balance, and the scallops--which arrived swimming in a soup instead of a puree--tasted noticeably off. The chicken parm was entirely forgettable. With these kinds of texture and flavor issues, there's just no attention to detail in the kitchen. Even with great service, we won't be returning.

This Delta mainstay attempts, and often succeeds, to balance both. A short drive from the city delivers you to this laidback waterfront outpost, where the real show unfolds just beyond the patio: a steady procession of boaters launching, docking, and lingering over the day's boating stories all around you. It's an unpolished but undeniably charming backdrop, best enjoyed with a cold craft beer in hand and nowhere urgent to be. The menu casts a wide variety of burgers, seafood, barbecue, designed more for broad appeal than culinary ambition. Still, it largely delivers on its promise of satisfying comfort fare. Service, however, is where the restaurant consistently distinguishes itself. Staff members are warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, a level of hospitality that feels increasingly uncommon and worth noting. On this visit, I returned to a familiar favorite: the cheeseburger, paired, at our server's suggestion, with tater tots. Around the table, fish and chips and pulled pork sliders completed the spread. The cheeseburger, Juicy and cooked with precision, it carries a distinct flame-grilled character that signals real attention to technique. The toppings are fresh, the bun properly toasted, and the overall construction strikes a satisfying balance between indulgent and controlled. It's a burger that delivers exactly what it promises, and does so consistently. Having previously paired it with excellent onion rings, it remains a dish I'd order without hesitation. The tater tots, however, were a notable misstep. A great tot should offer contrast, crisp exterior giving way to a light, airy interior. These lacked that essential textural payoff. Soft and underwhelming, they suggested oil past its prime and a lapse in execution. After sampling a few, I left the rest behind. It was a surprising inconsistency, particularly given stronger past experiences. Fortunately, the pulled pork sliders recalibrated the meal. Three well-proportioned sandwiches showcased tender, smoky pork layered onto soft buns with a restrained hand on the sauce. The balance was thoughtful, allowing the meat to remain the focal point. Each bite was cohesive and satisfying, making them one of the afternoon's clear highlights. The fish and chips were fresh and not over battered, well-flavored, but just a little heavy, that defines the dish at its best when lightly crispy, in my opinion. For this visit, I award 3 out of 5 stars. Not for lack of potential, the kitchen clearly has it, but for inconsistency. Strong dishes sit alongside underwhelming ones, and that variability prevents the restaurant from reaching its full potential. Having experienced better execution here before, particularly with fried items, it's evident that higher standards are within reach. Still, three stars should not deter a visit. This remains one of the Delta's most appealing gathering spots. The waterfront setting, approachable pricing, generous portions, and engaging atmosphere create an experience that extends beyond the plate. It's a place where time stretches, conversations deepen, and the rhythm of the water sets the pace. I'll return, for something new on the menu, the view, and with the hope that the kitchen rediscovers the consistency needed to match its undeniable strengths.

Most of the seating is in a covered outdoor courtyard with string lights and patio heaters, which creates a cozy setting for a group dinner. There's also a smaller indoor bar area that feels more intimate. The atmosphere is inviting and well done. We started with saganaki and The Bee's Knees to share. The Bee's Knees -- toasted bread with goat cheese, honey, and bee pollen -- was actually one of the highlights of the night and something I'd definitely recommend. We also ordered cocktails and a couple bottles of wine for the table, a Pinot and a Napa Cabernet. The Pinot was enjoyable; the Cabernet was not our favorite and felt a bit underwhelming. Service was friendly but slow and somewhat disorganized. We were told there was only one cook in the kitchen that evening, which likely explains why the food took quite a while to arrive. Several in our group ordered the "I Really Don't Care" entrée. I had a salad with steak, and unfortunately the steak was a bit clammy and lacked flavor. It wasn't terrible, just not memorable. For dessert we shared the lava cake, which was decent but not exceptional. If half-stars were an option, I'd probably land at a 3 1/2. Since that's not how it works, I'm giving it three. The ambiance and a few dishes stood out, but the overall execution didn't fully meet the expectations we had going in.
