I normally wouldn't come here but I was attending mass at the church nearby and came here afterwards to pick up lunch at Starbread next door. This Domino's is so much better than the one I would normally go to in Hillcrest. They don't stuff me on toppings. When I order a seven topping pizza, I expect it to be loaded and that's what I got, especially compared to my local Domino's. And it tasted good. I have no complaints even though I know the locals that eat here more frequently than me probably do. I don't know. I don't care enough to read the other reviews. I'm just here to pad my own review count. read more

Slap on the butter garlic sauce man. It's really salty pizza to me. I also think it's bad when the grease from the pizza box is already staining the outside. Different staff and different versions of the same pizza I sware. I suppose if it's late or you've been drinking and you have some "whiskey glasses" this place might be for you. read more

I order my pizza online for pick up, (1 gluten free cheese and mushrooms and 1 large half cheese and half pepperoni) that was around 5:30pm and the estimated pick up time was 15-18 minutes. I showed up at the counter around 6:05pm. When I asked about my order the young guy at the counter told me it was not ready that it would be 10-15 min. I decided to do take out this time around, due to convenience of not having to cook dinner for once. I placed the order after running some errands and I needed to get back home to my infant; well that did not worked out due to the delay from their end. I didn't quite understand the delay if the they had plenty of staff available 4 people and there was not busy at the counter, but a 15-18 min preparation took over 45 min. At the end you can also tell they rushed the order because the large pizza had verily any cheese and sauce you can see the dough right through, the gluten free was good. I have order from here before and never had this issues, but I hope that this was a one time hiccup, but as food place I believe it should be done right all the time to keep good business. On the other hand I appreciate the national coupon available that allowed me to get each pizza for $8.99. read more

The food is a good pizza it's somewhat quick and if they aren't you get another free pizza so for me it's pretty nice. But once I used my free emergency pizza and the workers got confused and made me PAY I was very mad but I payed and they called back saying that they got mixed up and that I would get a coupon but never did. The ambiance is pretty bad it's a small waiting area with no tables. read more

If I could give NO stars I would do that. I made an order to be delivered later in the day. About 2.5 hours early. Expecting my order to be delivered at 3pm, it finally arrives at 3:32pm. Ok, I'm upset that I had to wait an additional 32 minutes. So, I try calling the store to see if the deal is that the time I give them is the time they start my order. I was connected to a bot, then transferred to a wait line that didn't get answered. Totally unhappy and their so called "issue" reporting doesn't connect or anything. WARNING STAY CLEAR!!! Besides that the product is not that good either. read more

Good pizza when you have no lights go out and no restoral time. Delivered in a timely manner manner.

About 15 mins ago this middle aged Nascar lovin rollie pollie belly button expose numnut came in and started to harass the staff because his pizza wasn't done, even though it was explained to him that it wasn't done because they had an increase of orders that time of day. So my son says he was starving and wanted Star Bread. We arrived at 515pm and of course they are closed. So he then proceeds with almost a meltdown and sees there is a pizza place next door. Fine...we order a small cheese pizza and was told it would take 10 mins. Next to the glass window is suggests we can watch them make it. I pick up my little kid so we can watch. So I see a guy, who was also our cashier, flatten the dough with his fingers. Next to him was a girl holding onto her cellphone. He passes the pizza dough to her and she then proceeds to touch the pizza dough. She didn't wash her hands nor put on gloves. I stand there shocked. Do I tell them what I just saw and risk them doing something to a pizza I may ask them to redo, or ask for a refund and risk a toddler meltdown, or suck it up and say the heat will kill any bacteria that may be on her hands. Needless to say, this may be the one and last time I come here. read more

Ordered a large pepperoni online, to my surprise when the pizza gets here its only bread with burn pepperoni. So disappointing. Immediately they blamed the app for making that selection. Label on the box clearly says large pepperoni with cheese and sauce. I have pictures to prove it and the label that was on the box. It was a mistake they made, I just wish they would have admit it. It ruined my kids dinner. Really who orders just bread and pepperoni?? The box felt empty, ridiculous...... read more

This location will STEAL your money, not deliver the pizza to correct address and they will not refund your money. I had to call my credit card company and report them to get my money back. I'm very disappointed with the service I received tonight. I placed a simple order online for a sandwich for my son, requested it to be curbside pick up, notified the store I was there by the tracker at 821pm when my order was done, was notified to turn on my hazard lights to be able to locate me, mind you I parked in front of the store and was not acknowledged at all. I waited 20mins to see if anyone will notice the flashing lights and nothing. So then I called and was told to come to the door. That is not what I requested. If that was the case I would've just requested a regular carryout. And when I asked what was the purpose of me selecting curbside pick up if m not even being acknowledged i was respoded with just a sorry about that. I believe your team members need a course on customer service. I wouldn't give a star at all, but i need to pick at least one. read more

"Cowabunga Dude/Dudettes!" What a day off and watching "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" can start. Honestly, I'm not a big pizza eater, trying to cut those carbs. There are some exceptions to the rule though. "Dominos Pizza" isn't my go too place to be honest, but given the circumstances, I wanted it. Pizza and Beer on a rainy night....I say it's definitely a "YES" and here are my thoughts.. Friday January 5, 2018 Location: Dominos Pizza Pittsburg, Ca People: 1 Adult Story: As I mentioned in my introduction, I was watching "TMNT" and watching those "Turtles" munch of pizza made me want some. There are more than a couple of Pizza options in my area, but "Dominos" was the option less chosen in my case. I decided that was going to be my choice for the night and a chance to see if their carry out specials are actually what they say it was. So I went and here is the nitty gritty. Service/Hospitality: The store was in the process of closing when I got there but they still let me come in and order, that was pretty cool. The manager on duty even took a few moments to go over the whole ordering process with me and answered a few questions that I had. It was a Friday night so every one was moving, but it flowed well and everyone seemed chill. They were a cool staff of people and the manager, super cool. Great Service overall on this visit. Food/Cleanliness: The lobby area and the cooking and prep areas were neat and tidy. Of course this place isn't a dine in place so the upkeep I'm sure isn't hard, but indeed it was a delight to look back at the prep area and see it was clean. Now on to the "Food" I went with the "Large 3 topping carry out Pizza" ($7.99 + $.70 tax = $8.69) For my topping I got Mushroom, Sausage and Bacon on the standard crust. The pizza was super fresh as they don't do "Hot and Ready" and sit it under heat lamps like that "Little Roman guys" company. "Dominos" sprinkle a seasoning on their crust that is a really nice touch and makes it seem as if you're eating pizza made with garlic bread. A perfect amount of toppings and cheese I liked the pizza I got and the value was the best. A pizza equal to this at other establishments would of easily costed more. Overall: A good pizza for the value, my only thing was they didn't have any "Parmesan Cheese" which honestly seems to be the case at most pizza parlors. I would recommend this place and visit again indeed. read more

So I gave this location another go and was pleasantly surprised today, the interior looks recently renovated and was very clean. Pizza was made quicker than what their online menu advised and staff was friendly and upbeat. Would've given 5 stars if my pizza didn't come out a little over cooked but, overall tasted great. Will be ordering again if in the mood for something simple and quick. read more

This location is typically very dependable (carry-out experience only). Accurate, on-time, etc. However, when things do not go well, it's always a mystery as to why. Communication is not their strong suit. They're certainly not trying to win any customer experience awards. read more

I ordered wings and pizza a couple months back from this location. It was a busy evening and my order came in late, so I was expecting the delivery to be a little while. Unfortunately, it took much longer than I'd expected. I ended up visiting this Dominos to get my food. When I went, Sofia, the assistant manager, was extremely helpful and understanding. She took care of my order and informed me that they were short staffed, along with a delivery driver calling sick. What stuck out to me was her professionalism- she could have made excuses, but instead just did the next right thing. The next time I ordered, I brought up the same situation, and they honored a discount for me! I spoke with Shakir who was able to pull up my account and take care of me immediately. As I work in customer service, the way that they handled this was well beyond my expectations. I love the food and am glad the service matches in quality. Thank you, props and respect to Sofia, Shakir and the rest of the team at this Dominos location. read more

I tried to order by calling in. I ended up having to order while parked in front of their door. Was hung up on twice, after waiting for the automatic message for 4 min each time. I had to repeat my payment information 7 times. Not an exaggeration. Informed them I was in my car directly in front of their door. They said 20-30 min. After 45 minutes I called and asked the status of my order. I was informed it was ready 15 minutes ago. The young man that finally brought it to my car said no worries it was under the warmer. Well almost $40 later the cheese was hard on top of the pizza and the cinnamon twists were like hockey pucks. Not a very good experience. Lastly, not one person had their mask over their nose! read more
