What started off so well is going from sugar to... I placed a pickup order via Uber Eats a few days ago. It was 15m late. Yesterday I placed another p/u order via Grubhub 90 minutes in advance. It was 20m late. The server failed to offer cheese & peppers as she did the patron before me. When asked why the order was late, she replied because they were busy. I informed her of the order time & she smirked & repeated the busy line. I was going to try their app. It's mentioned during their hold time promo. The majority of the reviews are negative so I passed. I really try and support smaller chains. Their prices are affordable and the food is generally much better. I started ordering pizza from this place a while ago and to my taste, it was probably the best around but for the last three months, something happened that the pizza is not the same anymore. to begin with it, I don't know why the pizza maker has gotten into the habit of a toothpick (poking holes all around the crust) at the edge of the pizza crust leaving it flat which is a nono in pizzas. I ordered my with sausage and mushrooms and the sausage was pre-cooked making it dry. hardly put any sauce. so I suggest to the manager to take a look at his/her staff and address these issues because trying to cut corners to save is not the answer for a business to survive. they charge a lot for a pizza so the least they can do is provide a good product. I called down there and they had already made the pizza, but they made me the one I wanted instead with no issue! After I said ooh no I ordered the wrong pizza, the gentleman on the phone said "well which one would you like" I told him the Texas bbq pizza (which is delicious btw) and he said "no problem we'll make that one instead and send that one out to you" I mean come on if that isn't Grade A customer service I don't know what is! Not exactly sure what happened to this place but I am very saddened by it. I was a big fan of this pizza guys but the quality has totally gone downhill. My last couple pizzas had arrived over sauced, undercheesed, and recklessly cut. I decided to give them another chance but this time my pizza was undercooked and the marinara sauce and cheese had a very bad smell I couldn't even eat it and had to throw it out. I was pleasantly surprised at this little pizza place. I ordered a medium gluten free pizza and it was as good as any pizza without gluten has a right to be. It wasn't as good as some artisan pizza places for which I reserve my 4 and 5 star reviews, but it was a solid 3 stars and probably better than most chain pizza joints in the area. The cashier was friendly and when I showed her I had already pre paid, she didn't argue, just looked at my PayPal receipt, had me sign something and offered me free ice cream. i used to order from this Pizza Guys anytime I wanted good pizza and good value. I order tonight was so messed up. I am so very disappointed! first the large pizza is now the size of a medium. I ordered green onions on half of the pizza and i didn't get any. I order extra cheese and didn't get extra cheese. I order wings and ask for extra terri sauce and got ranch. I ordered extra icing for the Cina twist and didn't get it. Wow! what is happing here at this location? i called when I saw that i was missing the topping on my Pizza and the lady said the only thing they could do was to offer me 10% off my NEXT order. What the heck! at least when you order through door dash, if they mess up your order you can get a credit right away.
