What started off so well is going from sugar to... I placed a pickup order via Uber Eats a few days ago. It was 15m late. Yesterday I placed another p/u order via Grubhub 90 minutes in advance. It was 20m late. The server failed to offer cheese & peppers as she did the patron before me. When asked why the order was late, she replied because they were busy. I informed her of the order time & she smirked & repeated the busy line. I was going to try their app. It's mentioned during their hold time promo. The majority of the reviews are negative so I passed. I really try and support smaller chains. Their prices are affordable and the food is generally much better. However, I'm big on all aspects of customer service. I sincerely hope their timeliness and customer satisfaction vastly improves. The pizza was delicious as always. After a half day of moving for friends, it was either in and out or pizza. Pizza definitely won and it was good. A large combo was great, not much to complain about. I started ordering pizza from this place a while ago and to my taste, it was probably the best around but for the last three months, something happened that the pizza is not the same anymore. to begin with it, I don't know why the pizza maker has gotten into the habit of a toothpick (poking holes all around the crust) at the edge of the pizza crust leaving it flat which is a nono in pizzas. I ordered my with sausage and mushrooms and the sausage was pre-cooked making it dry. hardly put any sauce. so I suggest to the manager to take a look at his/her staff and address these issues because trying to cut corners to save is not the answer for a business to survive. they charge a lot for a pizza so the least they can do is provide a good product. I hope they make adjustments for the sake of their business because the customer always deserves the best. read more

I love pizza guys. I've ordered from them twice and the second time I made the mistake of ordering the wrong pizza online. I called down there and they had already made the pizza, but they made me the one I wanted instead with no issue! After I said ooh no I ordered the wrong pizza, the gentleman on the phone said "well which one would you like" I told him the Texas bbq pizza (which is delicious btw) and he said "no problem we'll make that one instead and send that one out to you" I mean come on if that isn't Grade A customer service I don't know what is! Not exactly sure what happened to this place but I am very saddened by it. I was a big fan of this pizza guys but the quality has totally gone downhill. My last couple pizzas had arrived over sauced, undercheesed, and recklessly cut. I decided to give them another chance but this time my pizza was undercooked and the marinara sauce and cheese had a very bad smell I couldn't even eat it and had to throw it out. I was pleasantly surprised at this little pizza place. I ordered a medium gluten free pizza and it was as good as any pizza without gluten has a right to be. It wasn't as good as some artisan pizza places for which I reserve my 4 and 5 star reviews, but it was a solid 3 stars and probably better than most chain pizza joints in the area. The cashier was friendly and when I showed her I had already pre paid, she didn't argue, just looked at my PayPal receipt, had me sign something and offered me free ice cream. I was delighted to be able to use Yelp Eat24 on this to go order and I have to say I was indeed delighted and I plan to use this a little more often when I have my..lazy days. So I seen on the Yelp site for them that you can order from the page and even customise your order.....very cool Yelp/Eat24 I can dig that indeed. So my carnivorous side of me desired meat, so I went with the all meat pizza. I ordered a large with standard tomato sauce and..that's it really, pretty straight forward. My pizza arrived in the allotted time frame they gave from the ordering page (between 35 - 45 min) My only real minus was my pizza was kinda lukewarm upon arrival. Didnt feel like they used a insulator bag when they were transporting my pizza. Considering how close this Pizza Guys location is to my house, it still should of had the steam rising from it..but that's just me. In conclusion, not a bad way to spend $27.51 which is I feel just about adverage, and me being lazy, I didn't mind the convenience factor. This Pizza Guys location is off Railroad here in Pittsburg. Not bad pizza at all, although their are locations that I enjoy maybe a little more.
