Normally I eat there. I really enjoy sitting outside during the summer. But today I had it delivered via DoorDash. My only complaint is how expensive the pizza is - so I eat there or deliver in this case as a treat only. Took our family of 5 to this beautiful place and had the best time together. Food was a 10/10 we orders two pizzas cheese for the kids and combo for the teen and adults. Pizza came out fresh and hot (Big brownie points for me). The kiddos loved the cheese and we loved the combo it couldn't get any better than this place. Being able to pull slices and the cheese pull is legit made it that much more fun to experience with the kiddos. Ambiance 10/10 very inviting, very family friendly. We sat outside near the play structure and were able to let the kids play and run while waiting on the food. It was such a nice way to enjoy the evening and allow us some grown up time and allow the kids to burn some energy and come back to the table ready to eat. From the inside to the outside everything was clean. Service 10/10 I am very big on customer service and the cashier that took our order and served us was great. I'm sooo upset I didn't get his name but on my receipt it says Cashier C, he wore glasses and has curly hair! So prayerfully if the owner see's this please give him a raise he was such a sweet heart and so accommodating. Our family will definitely be back to visit. This site hosted an event for my son and friend who received thier black belts earlier that day. I went in early and reserved outside tables for 40+ people. They were very accommodating and charged a small fee for the reservation. I also proceeded to order pizzas in advance which they had ready for us as our guests arrived. The outdoor area is fenced in with a play area. Safe for parents with small kids. It was an amazing day ending with great food, and great service. The manager is a bit of a jerk. I mentioned that there's a sign on their front door that says enter in the back gate. He pointed out that the sign was for a private party and that people going to the private party would know it's for them. Duh... it just is not clear for the general public. My suggestion of perhaps stating on the sign that the directions were for a private party were met with a dumb stare. There are plenty of other restaurants that we can drop a couple of hundred dollars for dinner! Places where our observations aren't met with the cold stare of I don't care. read more

My family and I have been coming to Skip's in Antioch for decades. We love the family atmosphere. We love sitting out back and having our kids play. Lots of memories have been made there, but unfortunately, the last few times we've been we feel like it's gone downhill. Like everything nowadays it's pricey. $28.50 for a large cheese pizza. $40.75 for a large all meat! By the time you order salads, drinks, and maybe a pitcher of beer you're looking at paying $150-200+. For the price you pay the place is disgusting. I've worked as a server in restaurants before and the bathrooms are always a direct reflection of how the kitchen is kept. The pizza is so good but the last few times we've gone there I lose my appetite every time I step inside the restroom. With the money that they are bringing in off of pizza and beer alone they should be able to afford to professionally clean this place. I have seen cleaner bathrooms in gas stations along I-5. And we were there on a slow week night and the bathrooms were gross. Imagine the weekends. read more

Two of us went in shortly after the restaurant opened, before 11:30 am. We both ordered egg plant parm. We were told it would take 20 minutes, no problem we said. When it came, it wasn't even warm!! We told the waitress who brought it back to the kitchen. She said they put them both in the oven. When they brought the food back to us, it still wasn't hot...in fact it wasn't any different then when we got it the first time. They got screaming pizza here, no joke . On 9/25/21, we came to the Skipolini in Antioch. On this day, there looked to be a ton of cars in the parking lot. I had no trouble finding a good spot to park. We entered the restaurant and the vibe was busy although I didn't see a whole lot of people dining inside. Turns out most people eat in the patio area which is extremely spacious. I thought this would make a nice place for a kid's birthday party. There's even an area where you can play cornhole. We ordered a large combination pizza and the good people at Skipolini let me use my $5.00 off yelp coupon just for checking in. Pizza came to about $30. There are TVs inside the restaurant and on this evening there happened to be a Giants game on TV with playoff implications, so I asked for them to slightly turn up the volume and they happily agreed . I was intrigued by the restaurant's decor and paintings hanging on the wall. Pizza took about 20 minutes to be served and it was a decent sized large pizza. Ingredients all tasted fresh, Pizza sauce had a zesty flavor and the pizza was on the thin size. As we were leaving the restaurant it had gotten late in the evening and I realized how dark the neighborhood is. I don't know why the reviews are so bad, the pizza is really good. I was surprised. I got the chicken specialty o-something with garlic, bell peppers, onions and asked for no feta cheese. The kids had a cheese and pineapple. The students working the counter were helpful. My cashier was new and the young girl next to her was helping her.
