Trying to get situated was difficult trying to maneuver your legs through the legs of the tables. We ordered our drinks, which were enjoyable. Our meals were delivered and there are no complaints. Hot, and very tasty. We were all disappointed in the ambience of the restaurant. There was no light music playing. People were enjoying themselves - some more than others. The restaurant definitely needs noise buffering so patrons can carry on a conversation without having to talk loudly across the table to be heard. Felt almost cafeteria-ish. We won't be back because of this. When paying for a nice dinner, we expected for the surroundings to be enjoyable as well.

From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm, inviting, and elegant. We were seated in the back area, which was stunning and provided the perfect setting for a relaxing family dinner. Our server, Beto, was exceptional. Friendly, genuine, attentive, personable, and welcoming, he made the entire experience enjoyable from start to finish. As parents of young children, we especially appreciated how quickly everything came out without sacrificing quality. The food was outstanding. I ordered the Laconda salad with salmon (on the side), which was incredibly fresh, vibrant, and perfectly balanced. The special house made gnocchi with various cheeses was fresh and delightful. We also enjoyed a cheese pizza and the spaghetti and meatballs, both of which were delicious and expertly prepared. Every dish tasted authentic, fresh, thoughtful, and full of flavor. What stood out most was how effortless the entire evening felt. Great service, beautiful ambiance, and excellent food came together to create one of the best dining experiences we've had in a long time. Locanda Capri has firmly reclaimed its place as one of my favorite restaurants in the area. We left happy, impressed, and already looking forward to our next visit. * A special thank you to Beto for making our evening so enjoyable. Outstanding service can elevate a meal, and he did exactly that. *

The flavors were identical to what I grew up with--simple, rich, and full of love. I finally had the honor of trying it for the first time this past May on my birthday, and it instantly felt like home. Walking past recently and seeing the restaurant completely cleaned out was heartbreaking. I truly hope the owners are doing well, because what they created was something special. If they ever decide to reopen--especially in downtown Brentwood--they would absolutely thrive. People that come to downtown Brentwood appreciate authentic, high-quality food, and at the value Caffe Paradiso offered, they would have completely crushed it. Thank you, Caffe Paradiso, for giving me one unforgettable meal that brought me right back to my roots. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed that this isn't the end, but just a pause before an incredible comeback.

It's a good place to stop if you're wanting a small snack. But you can order a full meal as well. Both the chef and the woman at the counter are really nice and friendly. I had made dinner reservations ahead of time. When we arrived we were warmly welcomed and seated right away. The inside had a nice bar and tablecloth covered tables giving off a classy yet cozy atmosphere. We were seated by the window in a cozy and more private space. It was a lovely spot. Our server brought us cold water and menus to look at. While we were looking at the menu, we were brought warm bread and butter. My husband decided to order the Moroccan Beef Tagine and I ordered the pescatore with fettuccine. I don't care too much for salmon and asked if they could please omit it. They offered to give me more shrimp and mussels, which was very nice. I really appreciated that. I'm so glad we made reservations, because the restaurant filled up fast. I definitely recommend reservations when coming here. It's a popular place for the locals. Our food arrived quickly. I was offered freshly grated Parmesan cheese for my pasta. My husband loved his Moroccan beef. I tried it and it was delicious and had so much flavor. My pasta wasn't the best, but just okay. The sauce was very bland, and I had to add a lot of salt to make it taste more flavorful. The pasta was overcooked and not al dente. The worst part was the shrimp. The shrimp were overly cooked and hard to chew. The mussels and clams were very good, though. I would have mentioned this to our waiter but I didn't want to be late to our concert. We didn't heave a lot of time to waste so I ate about half of my dish and made sure to eat all the mussels and clams. If we had more time, I would have asked if I could try something else and I'm sure they would have accommodated me. The staff were very friendly and kind. I would definitely come back and try one of their Moroccan dishes. When I read the review for this restaurant, prior to coming, many people commented on how good the Moroccan dishes were. I can see why, because my husband Moroccan beef Tagine was so flavorful. If we are ever in the area again, we will give Fiore another try.

The buffet was decently stocked, but my mom was a bit bummed there were no waffles or pancakes. She asked and we were told only the buffet was being offered. So, fine. The food was about as good as buffets get (so so). We asked twice for water and it never arrived. We had to ask 3 times for the bill. What made matters worse was once the bill did arrive. When I opened the bill holder, it had an old-style receipt with simply "150" written down. With (what I assume) was and additional $13 for tax, I was looking at $163 for two for a buffet brunch. There was no indication of prices for the buffet anywhere. I half thought the waiter gave us the bill for the foursome next to us. While I was expecting maybe $45-$50 a person because restaurants like to wring us on these sort of holidays, I am completely flummoxed with how on this green Earth they seriously feel they could charge $75 per person. Highway robbery.
