It's not my first time here. Whenever we come we always get gelato. But this time we ordered food. We got the focaccia and it was really good and of course we got gelato. It's a good place to stop if you're wanting a small snack. But you can order a full meal as well. Both the chef and the woman at the counter are really nice and friendly. They have actual conversation with. The place does get busy people in groups come and go. The inside of the cafe is tiny but they have outdoor sitting that's really cute. The owner and his wife run this very authentic restaurant, the food is fabulous as is the gelato! It feels like we were back in Italy! The serving size is perfect, not a huge plate that you can't possibly eat. They stay open later than the hours to accomandate you. No chain will do that. read more

A slice of garlic bread (garlic crostini) was crispy and soft in the center. Very complimentary to the dish. I would order this selection again. Pasta Alfredo - 5/5 Cork screw pasta cooked perfectly al Dante with original Alfredo sauce, and Garlic crostini. The Alfredo sauce was very flavorful, rich and robust with parmesan cheese flavor. A very excellent pasta dish. Domenico has established a very nice, small and quaint Italian eatery in Brentwood. He serves Italian dishes that most everyone is familiar with. It's really nice to walk into a place and right away you are greeted even if the employee is busy with another customer. When you first walk in there is a menu over to the left of the door. Once you have decided what you want to order, you place your order at the front cash register. After paying you can either choose from the very limited seating inside or go out onto the patio where there are a few more tables and chairs. I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs, and my fiancé ordered a daily special of spaghetti with shrimp in a garlic wine sauce. The portions that you receive are more on the side of a lunch portion, you do receive a little slice of garlic bread with your meal all for a reasonable price. The spaghetti and meatballs were very flavorful. I definitely would order it again. My fiancé said his meal was delicious. Once we were done eating we simply went right back into the café and ordered dessert. Dessert was delicious. Sadly, the dessert is the only thing I was able to take a photo of. My family and I had the best experience here! We stopped in on a whim for lunch and were very impressed. Among the four of us, we ordered pesto pasta, Alfredo pasta, the meatball sandwich, a salad, and various drinks (coffee, tea, affogato). Not a single item disappointed (special shoutout to the bomb meatball sub)! Not only was the food delicious, but the owners were incredibly friendly, checking in on us frequently. This Italian pastry joint reminded me of something out of my trip in Milan, Italy. They had music in the background and were just enjoying themselves. We ordered their gelato, tiramisu and Domenico welcomed us with an amaretto cookie. All items were delicious and had that nice authentic flavor to them.
