Just recently a Round Table opened in Tehachapi. We were really looking forward to having something new in town. I went in and placed an order that should be around 50$ and it was close to 90$ I said no thank you and haven't been back. Not only that they are obviously working out a lot of kinks. They are not honoring the catering packs that other Round Tables have and it's on the menu. So this is why we drove to this location that was recommended to us by a friend. It is absolutely the way to go. They were helpful and their prices are not as high as the other location. They have catering packs for large families and had buy one get one half off. Great deal, didn't spend a fortune and pizza was amazing. Very generous with toppings. This location has a salad bar and big dining room. Place was very clean including the restrooms. *Make sure to sign up for the rewards. I received a free personal one topping pizza. read more

i was highly disappointed with my pizza. i ordered four pizzas, and one of the pizzas had a long strand of hair in it. my other pizza had bacon bits and some white sauce on it that i never ordered, and the pineapples used on the pizza taste like their old and canned. the pizza was not good at all, and it is overpriced for the quality. i will not order from this restaurant ever again. the front worker was very kind and sweet! a very friendly woman.. aside from that, i'll give this restaurant a 2 out of 10. major waste of money.. such a disappointment. read more

I frequently eat dinner here and have not reviewed this place. The pizza is always perfectly made, with taste, and the right amount of crisp on the edges. The staff is always very nice and attentive. Just dealt with the rudest person ever... I quit eating here for a longtime because of her... she questioned my credit card on one order which had plenty on it so now I pay cash upon delivery and the other people that work there are so friendly I never have a problem with my orders from the others... they make my salad for me with the few things I like on it... and she wouldnt do it mind you it's a salad bar she said each item would be 50 cents more mind you you dont pay 50 cents per item on your salad if you eat there... and the condensening way she talks to you is so un settling... One of my favorite pizzas places here in the Antelope Valley. Due to COVID-19 they currently don't have the salad bar which my wife and I really enjoyed especially their lunch special which included a personal 1topping pizza with one trip salad bar. I have been going here since I was a child in the eighties. You will pay more but the pizza quality is superior to Papa Johns and Dominos. I also have never had to bring back a pizza because I received someone else's pizza by mistake. I recommend calling in your delivery order because the restaurant always has a couple of items on special. If you order on the app, these specials won't be listed, even though the app is fairly generous with points for free pizza, so you might make up your money that way. read more

I was looking forward to eating Round Table Pizza. I placed my order online for a Large King Arthur Pizza and some hot wings. I went in to pay and the girl behind the counter said she would bring out my order when it's done. At 5:56 I walked in because I still didn't receive my order that should have been done at 5:45pm. They gave my order to another customer who took in in his car, opened it and realized that it wasn't his and walked it back into the restaurant. They tried to give me that same order. I told them I didn't want that one and they expected me to wait another 30 mins for them to make a new one. I asked for a refund instead. They didn't want to give me a refund at first, but I told them I wasn't going to wait another 30 mins. They didn't give me a receipt from the refund of my credit card. read more

I've gotten pizzas 5-6 times here just this last October alone, since deciding to try a different place than my usual spot. It is always pretty good, but some orders have definitely been better than others. I always order the same pizzas but they will have different amounts of toppings and also, strangely, just an overall different flavor depending the crew working at the time / who makes it. The very first time ordered from this location only about a month ago, I thought it was some of the best pizza I had ever had in my life, which is why I have gone back so many times since. Sadly, though, it has not been anywhere close to that first time in terms of quality (taste, texture, amount of toppings, melted cheese, etc.) I don't understand how I got 1 great pizza out of about 10-12 now over the last month. Service has always been very friendly. One general dislike however would be that, given how costly the pizza, is I don't like that 2-3 ranches (for 2-3 pizzas) has to be charged for. I could understand 4 or more getting charged for if a person only has 1-2 pizzas... and they have thrown me a free ranch 1 time (mainly tho I think it was bc I asked for it as I was getting my pizza and leaving, every other time has been an additional charge). On that same note, when I one time ordered a 6 piece parmesan twists (they come in 3, 6, and 9), it only came with 1 single marinara (a small plastic to-go dressing cup); I can understand 1 marinara for the 3 piece, but you think it would double to 2 marinara when the pieces double to a 6 piece. So if you order these make sure you get the required marinara that it should already come with. Would they only give 1 marinara for a 9 piece as well? When you'd think it would be, at minimum, 3... I'm considering a 3 star for the inconsistency, but I'm giving 4 b/c of that first pizza was just so amazing, and I want to believe that it can be like that again... it was only just a month or so ago! Maybe I'll get another pizza here tonight, give it another chance. Did they make it special or something that first time because it was my "First order" on a new account and they can somehow see that on the kitchen order receipt? I am not really the one to complain but this was the second let down from this place first time about 2 weeks ago they never delivered my wings I call her and tell her I never got them ... she argued with them that she packed them her self tell she was blue in the face .. so I just hang up she calls back 2 mins later and says that the wings were sitting on t he counter .. now tonight I order my order at 7:30 She gives me a 40 min deliver and a hour passes and no pizza she finally calls and says that they are 20 min delay ok so 45 mins pass I call them back and she tells me my driver is on her way back her to pick up your order and bring it ... it truly is a let down when you are waiting on something you like and it takes 2 hours so I just canceled and probably will never order again because I love good food but never worth the let down ... good thing is I will save my 80$ I spend there every two weeks $ read more

I always visit Round Table when I'm in California because it is by far my favorite of the "chain" pizzas. I love the super tangy sauce, and the not-too-thick/not-too-thin crust and the super gooey cheese and toppings. Every bite is a food memory from childhood. The only place I've been that has the similar sauce is Alamo Drafthouse Cinema in Texas. Super yum! In the past when I'd visited this location I'd been by myself and just ordered a personal sized pizza, but for some reason, I don't think it scales down as well. This time, I visited with my dad and ordered a large with sausage, olives and pepperoni & extra sauce. It was perfect. Yeah, it was a bit pricy compared to others. But it tastes good enough that I don't care. The only thing that wasn't as good as I remember was the quality of the sausage. That has gone downhill a bit since childhood. There's a place in Dallas that uses the kind of sausage that Round Table used to though... so I can get my fix there. read more

I came in to round table pizza ready to pick up a pizza I had order but I made the mistake of ordering a cheese pizza instead of a pepperoni Pizza. I grew up on Round Table Pizza. It was one of our first choices to go to when indoor dining resumed. The food was amazing however the service was AWFUL. We were made to feel like an inconvenience for coming in to eat. I understand Covid protocols are very specific and regimented and we follow them, to make it easier on everyone. One specific employee made it my worst experience eating out ever. From getting an eye roll for asking for a menu (as no menus were posted or readily available to look at) to continuous asking for napkins, plates, forks, drinks because we didn't get the number we asked for. We dealt with one lady only who looked like she'd rather be anywhere than work but Kayla picked up all her slack! Kayla really was amazing and I felt bad for her working harder than she had to. I let all the bad service go...from this individual and rude stares, and telling of my children not touch the games (they weren't) shooing my child on to a sticker when they were telling me what they wanted to eat, telling us only 5 to a table when the regulations are really 6 to a table but we split up anyways to avoid any problems, I let it all go and figured they are taking Covid protocols pretty serious until I saw the same lady, who picked us apart at every turn, TAKE HER MASK OFF and let it hang around her neck as she had a little necklace connected to it.. the same one for eyeglasses. Not only was her mask OFF, she was refilling the ice and walking by food waiting to be ran under the heat lamps with NO mask on her face. That's when I decided she doesn't take Covid protocols seriously AT ALL and was absolutely rude and unprofessional and food service isn't for her. She should really seek a new job if she hates customers and serving others so much. For that reason, I will not return and encourage others who really take Covid seriously to do the same. The Pizza is really good there but it's very expensive for pizza. A medium pizza two drinks and two salad bars run you almost $45. I can have a good steak dinner with my friend at outback for that. Also the only pizza restaurant I've ever been to that if you take an item off the pizza you can't replace it with something else they want to charge you for it. How ridiculous is that? Tonight I went there and we got water cups well we had a lot of kids and they had gotten sprite and one cup before we had told them they were water cups and the waitress (Jamie) came over and said "These are water cups so I need to take them away." We love Round Table Pizza! We don't go very often because we don't always have it in our budget. Yes, it's worth every penny and we've never had any issues. But tonight the lady who took my order over the phone was so rude! I was going to talk to a manager when I went to pick up my order only to find out that the lady on the phone was a manager!
