Very disappointed with the service from the 20th street west and Avenue k Lancaster store. The last time I ordered they left off an item from my order. When I went in today, not only did they make me wait for service when I was the only patron in the store, when I let them know that the last time I ordered they left did not include the icing with the Oreo bites the manager said, sorry, it happens. I asked him to include it with my order today. He said, nope you have to pay for it. I felt he was a bit rude. This location is the worst I have ever eaten at. They have never gotten my order right, not once. I always request extra sauce yet the pizza is always made incredible dry. Don't you hate it when you make it home to find that you dont have what you ordered? The Papa John's pizza Garlic Butter is one of the things I love about the pizza. So when I discovered it was missing from both of my pizzas, I had to call and find out what went wrong. Employee Rosa answered the phone and after expressing my missing Garlic Butters, she was short in telling me that they have completly run out on a Saturday afternoon. She clearly expressed herself as "not carrying" and told me it's free anyway. Shocked, I inform her that it's not free, as i paid for it in the purchase price of the 2-Pizzas. Enough, can I speak to a manager? Answer; I am the manager! You can't be??? Is there anyone there that cares about the customer? "Please Hold..." Dial tone. Really..? Here is the problem. The staff are a bunch of kids playing around and having fun at work. I can't believe that Managment can't find a mature and responsible adult to run this location and handel reordering supplies like my Garlic Butter...lol How hard can it be? I love that they open earlier than the other pizza joints. I was able to order a few boxes of pizzas for work at 10am! They were quick and perfectly ready for our lunch get together. The mobile app is really helpful and I love being able to keep track of my orders and deals. I ordered a pizza and wings for delivery. The pizza was a large with some toppings on the whole pizza, some only on half. Once the pizza got here the toppings were mixed up and some missing from a half. I called the store to get it fixed and the guy who answered the phone did nothing but argue saying "we gave you meatballs" not understanding that the meatballs were not the only topping. I then asked to speak to the manager. Another guy got on the phone who was a driver, he had to translate my complaint to the manager, Juan, because he would not speak to me in English. I ordered a pizza, and my folks went to pick it up. When they arrived they saw someone receive a pizza and go enter their vehicle. Shortly after that the person returned, gave the pizza back, and stated they had given him the wrong pizza. They then took the pizza back and placed it under the warmer. Five minutes later, the employee retrieves the pizza and attempts to give it to my folks, who had witnessed the pizza taken out of the building, into a vehicle, then returned. They refused to accept this, and the employee asks why they would refuse to accept this pizza, and if they really wanted him to make another pizza to replace it. The said they would very much appreciate a pizza that no one else had taken out of the building. There is so much about this experience that angers me that listing them all would be excessive. Imagine if my folks had not witnessed the earlier interaction and not known to refuse this food? How many times has this happened in the past, where I might have received a pizza someone might have sneezed on, placed on a basket of their dirty laundry on their way to the laundry mat? So we ordered 3 larg pizza's a pepperoni, ham and pineapple and one that was basically a supreme for my son's birthday on the 31st. Bring the pizza's home and start feeding the kids pizza and a few of the older adults while I was finishing making the salad. I finish getting everyone served and go to eat and one of our guests has all the topping picked off the pizza so I as them if everything was ok and they said they couldnt eat the dough because it wasnt cooked all the way. A few other adults agreed that theirs was gooey also so i check my slice and sure enough the dough in the center of the pizza is still gooey but only on the ham and pineapple & the supreme. I called the store and talked to Jeff and he proceeds to tell me that I have to bring the pizza back to the store so I tell him that we have eatten some of it and he says "so you mean to tell me you've been eating raw pizza then" I told him that we had fed the kids and few adult first and that I didnt know right away he also argued that the pizzas couldnt possibly not be cooked all they way since they're on a timer. So he asks how much is left and i tell him there's almost half of a supreme and a little over half of the ham and pineapple. He says fine and to bring it back, apparently they arent supposed to take it if theres more than 3 pieces missing. So Im like you want me to drive all the way back over there while im in the middle of my sons birthday party (which i couldnt leave if I had wanted to because they took the car to pick up cake) to bring the pizzas to be fixed?! My sister takes the phone from me and tells him thats not good customer service and that he should have someone deliver fresh pizzas and they can pick up the undercooked pizza's when they drop off the fresh ones. He says that im going to have to pay for it then because I originally picked it up. She talked to him for a few more minutes and he finally said he would have someone bring fresh ones. The kid that delivered the pizza was polite and understanding and also got a tip. This is the only place I/my family like to order pizza from and have been doing so for a very long time. My wife and I were busy one night and were craving Papa Johns as we hadn't had it in a while and both love the taste of the sauce and the cheese. We ordered a pizza with chicken, mushrooms, and some wings. The pizza showed up in a fast amount of time. However, on first look we had maybe 2 or 3 mushrooms and 5 or 6 pieces of chicken randomly grouped on the pizza (not spread out). Well we thought at least the sauce would save it since we love Papa John's sauce. Unfortunately we were let down by this even, the pizza had little or no sauce, maybe as if it was just like lightly coated, but you couldn't taste it. It was non-existent. Now it looks like Papa John's is off my list of pizza places. Simple order...medium pizza with pepperoni, sausage and half pineapple, and an order of buffalo wings (well done). Got home with my order (25 miles away...not expecting it to be hot and fresh due to distance but re-heating will suffice). Found only ONE SLICE of the pizza with more than ONE pepperoni (it had two). The rest had only one pepperoni and one had only a half pepperoni. There was so little tomato sauce couldn't even taste it. There were a few more chunks of pineapple but not by much. The wings could have been reattached to the chicken and survived...obviously not well done! Now back to looking for a decent pizza place. read more

Will definitely be my last time eating a papa johns. Staff was cold, didn't feel welcomed but my family wanted pizza so I continued with my order. The big guy behind the counter is handling people's money, rubbing his hands on his pants and then reaches right into the cheese and sprinkles it over the pizza without washing or wearing gloves.
