It's been roughly 10 years since I last had Captain Tony's. Since I was in town I decided to visit my old pizza spot. I could tell the new owners made changes and I have to say the changes are amazing. The food was reasonably priced. It smelled delicious when I went to place my order. The new owners did not disappoint. I ordered a build your own pizza and it was delicious. I'll for sure comeback next time I'm in town. read more

I love a nice toasted crust and this place does it right. The dough is very good, perfect balance of sauce, cheese and toppings as well. I've tried the lemon pepper wings and they are very tasty. It's a quality wing spot for sure. I'm trying the calzone next time. Staff are very nice, they greeted me as I entered and let me know the pizza would be out shortly as I waited. I live near the mall with good pizza options around me but this place will be my new go-to pizza joint. read more

First, there costumer services was good...but I had to wait 20 minutes for my pizza which is normal but the mess up and all it was burnt cheese and crust...I've gotten the BBQ chicken and the Famous Homie hoag went there and tried it...I think he added extra stuff but the pizza was horrible...wait forty minutes to get disappointed and spent damn bear 40 dollars...that was the most horrible pizza I've ever had and even Pizza Hut was never this bad...but again there customer service was good...gave me a free soda for the first pizza they made bcuz they messed it up...sadly I won't be going back there...I'm pretty sure they have other great items but my first time there wasn't good at all... read more

The reason I am giving it a 3 star is for taste, portion options and customer service. When I visit a mom and pops shop is because they offer single size portions or combo combinations- This place offers neither. I went in to try this place since I live very close to it, looking for a personal size or even slices. I wasn't greeted when I came in, mind you it was empty. My order was taken by a man. When I asked for the smallest size, I was told it was the medium. I went ahead and ordered it. I waited in the car after 15min I went in and pizza was ready. This time a woman was helping out and she was very nice. She welcome me and wished me a great day. (It's the little things). Cost for pizza was $11.25. The taste is ok, just don't go with big expectations. I wouldn't go again. read more

This happened to my family member when they visited this location. "David was very rude because I wasn't wearing a mask, yet their employee's were not wearing their masks properly. David used a racial slur word at me because of this. Very disrespectful and unprofessional. He didn't want to give me my food that I ordered. I stood up for myself against this racial attack and got blacklisted from ever ordering from this place. Now my kids can't enjoy a pizza from this place every again because of David and the values of this establishment. read more

tried to order pizza and the boy or man on the phone had no patience, put us on hold came back tried to finish ordering and he said ill come back once u decide what u what right in the middle of ordering then came back and hang up without even saying hello, called again were placed on hold then came back and tried to argue on why he hung up and why he no longer had our order the pizza looked good but this guy is horrible so unfortunately we wont be trying this place . im curious is this management acting this way or a random employee either way not a good place to be calling review updated: ill change the star rating because management answered, as a fellow business owner i know how ratings can affect a business please hire personnel who love to serve ty! read more

Haven't been to Captain Tony's for a while but had a taste for a pizza so thought I'd try them again. The pizza was nothing like the last time, was dry and tasted like cardboard. Very good pizza! Definitely the best I've tasted in the A.V. since moving here in August '23. It's a shame that it's not more of a sit-down restaurant, a place with maybe a salad bar and beer and wine. But for take-out and delivery, I highly recommend. Haven't tasted anything else on the menu besides the pizza, but plan to do so soon. read more

After looking I realized it was plastic, like a surrand wrap, all around the edge of every turkey slice and on large piece on the entire side of a slice that looked like an end piece. Unfortunately, I swallowed some of the plastic wrap and so did my daughter unknowingly. I tried to call the location and it did not ring but there was a message "mailbox has not been set up" it was 8:45pm so I decided to drive all the way back and got there at 8:55pm. When I walked in I asked to see a manager or supervisor the gentleman said he was one of them. I told him I am upset because there is plastic all over the turkey in the sandwich I had just purchased. I then took out pieces of the half eaten sandwich to show him and he said "oh, I know exactly what that is, it's the plastic around it your sandwich wasn't prepped correctly, that's really bad I'm sorry I can give you a refund for it." As he is giving me the refund he asked if the other sandwich I purchased was ok, I told him that I have no idea because my son ate it quickly and there wasn't turkey so hopefully his meat didn't have plastic on it. He then did the refund and a coworker then said "you can just give her a full refund, I'm sorry you had to come back. Would you want your name down in our book to come in the future for a remake of the sandwich." I told her no shocked everyone is so "calm" about the error that they made because they were the ones making my sandwich. I'm also shocked that no one offered to remake my sandwich right then and there EVEN if it was closing time. The whole "oh man, that's too bad" response and attitude is mind blowing to me. It's not like my complaint is having mayo on my sandwich when I only wanted mustard...my complaint is that there was plastic all over my food, that I ate. It was an error that shouldn't have been made.
