Once again, Captain Tony's pizza has outdone themselves. We ordered pizza for our banquet for the Palmdale High School swim team. And the pizza was amazing. We ordered pepperoni, cheese, vegetarian, and a couple of their specialty ones. My favorite was the Elote. All of their pizzas have so much flavor. They are so good. I love a nice toasted crust and this place does it right. The dough is very good, perfect balance of sauce, cheese and toppings as well. I've tried the lemon pepper wings and they are very tasty. It's a quality wing spot for sure. I'm trying the calzone next time. Staff are very nice, they greeted me as I entered and let me know the pizza would be out shortly as I waited. It's been roughly 10 years since I last had Captain Tony's. Since I was in town I decided to visit my old pizza spot. I could tell the new owners made changes and I have to say the changes are amazing. The food was reasonably priced. It smelled delicious when I went to place my order. First, there costumer services was good...but I had to wait 20 minutes for my pizza which is normal but the mess up and all it was burnt cheese and crust...I've gotten the BBQ chicken and the Famous Homie hoag went there and tried it...I think he added extra stuff but the pizza was horrible...wait forty minutes to get disappointed and spent damn bear 40 dollars...that was the most horrible pizza I've ever had and even Pizza Hut was never this bad...but again there customer service was good...gave me a free soda for the first pizza they made bcuz they messed it up...sadly I won't be going back there...I'm pretty sure they have other great items but my first time there wasn't good at all... read more

The reason I am giving it a 3 star is for taste, portion options and customer service. When I visit a mom and pops shop is because they offer single size portions or combo combinations- This place offers neither. I went in to try this place since I live very close to it, looking for a personal size or even slices. I wasn't greeted when I came in, mind you it was empty. My order was taken by a man. When I asked for the smallest size, I was told it was the medium. I went ahead and ordered it. I waited in the car after 15min I went in and pizza was ready. This time a woman was helping out and she was very nice. She welcome me and wished me a great day. (It's the little things). Cost for pizza was $11.25. This happened to my family member when they visited this location. "David was very rude because I wasn't wearing a mask, yet their employee's were not wearing their masks properly. David used a racial slur word at me because of this. Very disrespectful and unprofessional. He didn't want to give me my food that I ordered. I stood up for myself against this racial attack and got blacklisted from ever ordering from this place. Now my kids can't enjoy a pizza from this place every again because of David and the values of this establishment. read more

Haven't been to Captain Tony's for a while but had a taste for a pizza so thought I'd try them again. The pizza was nothing like the last time, was dry and tasted like cardboard. Very good pizza! Definitely the best I've tasted in the A.V. since moving here in August '23. It's a shame that it's not more of a sit-down restaurant, a place with maybe a salad bar and beer and wine. But for take-out and delivery, I highly recommend.
