I'm a big Round Table fan. I love the pan pizza. I really do like their sauce, so I pay for extra sauce. I received my order today and there was light-normal sauce. I called to let them know that this is the second time in a row we paid for extra sauce and we don't get it. They asked me who took the order and then bickered about who did it. Then a young gal got on the phone and said I remember that order and I remember putting extra sauce in it. Maybe someone else got my order? I was more disappointed that they didn't think it was possible they missed. I have to consider other options. No reason to go back. read more

Our go to Round table despite there being one closer to us,but this one always has it fast and hot, cashier was kind of rude today tho I think he might have been the manager. I understand it was sat and rush hour but other than that I ordered a xl pizza 6 twists and 6 wings and I only received 2 containers of ranch and I asked if I could get more because I ordered two items that come with a sauce and he said each 6 piece order only comes with 1 container and ranch is $1.07 so I told him to remove my tip and I'd use it for ranch instead I would've left it but as I stated earlier he was kinda rude and i wanted at least 5 containers of ranch.will come back but they never used to charge for ranch.oh and they recently remodeled.they also only put like 8 pieces of sliced jalapeños in the half of the pizza read more

Our cheese pizza showed up completely burned. Called the manager and they said it would take an hour and a half to get a a new one. Was surprised since they clearly messed up our first one but an hour and a half went by and nothing. Called back again and said it would be there in 5 minutes. Waited another 45 minutes and nothing. Called back again and finally got a hold of a manager who said there's no record of the pizza in the first place. This place has absolutely gone downhill since the new owners have taken over. We've ordered from round table at least two times a month over the past 10 years and it's disappointing to see the new management does not care anything about customer service. Buyer beware. read more

Food is good, but why AJ? Why is this guy such a rude creeper. I use to come here atleast once a week, but not anymore. Now I come maybe once or twice a year because this person AJ is just rude and unreasonable. Penny pinching In the wrong way. Today he tried to argue with me about giving me something I already paid for. Then when I proved I already purchased it, still wanted to pout giving me my over priced ranch cup. I don't have time to spend money at establishments that don't even want to give you what you paid for and treats you like a thief.... AJ is just rude and clearly hates his job, and it shows by hiw he treats customers. read more

This place is awesome the new owner really makes us comfortable and is very welcoming! We've been coming here for over 30 years and it still just as enjoyable the chicken club and wings are still as amazing as they always have been thank you to the Benicia round table crew ! Many more visitors to come read more

Pizza okay. But you don't get what you pay for. I ordered a large pizza and it came in a medium box. It was definitely much smaller than other pizza spots in town. It was very upsetting to see the size of the pizza for the amount of money we paid. Won't be ordering from them again. Too many other options around town. read more

Recieved a flyer for 1/2 off beer and wine 4pm -9pm Monday - Thursday and they never honored the deal. Argued with the owner and they claimed that you needed to bring the flyer in. We got home and double checked and sure enough no where is it mentioned that you needed to bring the flyer in. We are never coming here again as we will not be supporting liars read more

I have been going to this round table for 35 years. It was at one time "the last honest pizza". However, the quality in the last six (6) months to a year has fallen to such an unacceptable level for the price, that I am never going back. Everything is terrible. Pizza is under done, orders are wrong and the customer service is now awful. There is a piece of my childhood that is gone forever. Sorry RT, you have lost a customer who worked at multiple pizza places and thought that was the last honest pizza. Goodbye. read more

Updating one more time, as the owner has once again contacted me and confirmed ordering is now online! I took a look and ordering looks like it is indeed restored, and I'm upgrading my review accordingly. I'm very appreciative of the owner communicating with me and staying on it (and even contacting me again after resolution) I can be pretty picky about my pizza so I'd normally leave at 4 stars, but I'm adding the extra star as a thank you for going above and beyond in communication and also to support a business in Benicia which has obviously struggled dealing with pandemic-related logistics issues. read more

So tried again because we heard the salad bar was back. Ordered two pizzas, large twist and 5 salad bars. Just be aware each salad bar was$12.99. Seems a little high how a one trip to the salad bar. Total bill was $120. One large pizza and one personal. read more

Went in at opening time the other morning! Looked like they were still having a Staff meeting at one of the tables and a guy shouted across the room can I help you!? ‍ Order a Pizza to go? Ordered a King Arthur Supreme and when I got it home it was horrible! Very little of anything on it and you could actually count the vegetables! Worst Pizza I think I have ever had. I've noticed a change in staff, most of the people are being brought in and out of this place it seems. Don't really like the new store manager, he came off as very arrogant in my opinion, same with the other people Oder man. I believe his name was AJ, I noticed that he stands over most of the staffs shoulders which is very creepy in my opinion. I miss the old managers, it was three women and they were always so kind to me and my family, just overall disappointing that they aren't there anymore read more

We've been ordering here for a year. We get delivery from here twice a month. No issues with food quality or delivery. Until today.... 2 of the 3 pizza we ordered were incorrect. I called it in immediately and person who answered wasn't friendly nor apologetic but she transferred me to the main cook (?). Man I spoke with was courteous enough and even said "that's interesting..." after I told him about the 2 wrong orders, ingredients missing. He offered a solution, I did a carry out (no charge) and he even offered me a free soda. I checked that it was all good and went home and fed my family. He added Extra toppings and it tasted fresh. I appreciate the job well done. Mistakes happen and all it took was being polite and not yelling at them. Everyone was happy in the end. read more

I get wings delivered every once in a while when I'm feeling kinda lazy and don't want to cook. They are just so-so and they forget the dipping sauce half of the time, but it wasn't enough for me to never come back until now. I had the order dropped off contactless. They left at the door my order with the sauce in a bag on top of the boxes. The bag had been dropped before being left at my door and one of the sauce broke open and got all over. Still not that bad I had one more. Then I open the boxes to see what feels like a joke. I received 12 bones... these are the most pathetic small meatless wings I've ever seen. Needless to say the $25 I spent to be lazy was not worth it and I definitely won't be back. I can't believe they let these leave the building. read more

Round Table Pizza - The "wings" if you can call them that ... - Pizza Near Me - Benicia, California

What else is there to say ? Round Table is the best pizza chain going. I'm visiting in Benicia and had a King Arthur Supreme from this location. It was delivered and was fresh and hot when it got to the house. I don't have any intel on the facilities this time since it was a delivery order. That process was smooth ordering over the phone. We had some boneless "wings" which were not good to me but everyone seemed to like them. I would have preferred traditional bone-in style. Anyway you cannot go wrong with RT. read more

Have been to many, many RT's in my time. This location consistently makes pizzas wrong and has a very incomplete menu for a RT. Final straw was worker arguing with me over missing toppings on a specialty pizza. Had the menu in my hand showing ingredients and he still Claimed it was right. Far better pizza at Springs location in Vallejo. read more

Awesome Pizza, awesome staff, awesome location...The restaurant feels old fashioned with that spices and herbs aroma wafting in the air.

I'm shocked and disgusted by the negative comments I'm seeing. I got a to-go order last weekend and apparently lots of people were up in arms that there was no restaurant dining option. Yes, we're all way beyond tired of COVID, but don't take it out on hard-working employees who are doing their best. I grew up in Benicia and still visit family there frequently. Round Table is a favorite go-to for lunch, as it used to be for delivery for us. I never cease to be blown away by how gracious, efficient and just generally pleasant every single staff person I've ever encountered there has been. The pizza quality is consistent and great (I've always loved how toppings go all the way to the edge here!) I frequented Round Table throughout 2021 and once so far in 2022 for both pick-up and eat-in dining, and they've been a delight. They're working with constantly-changing COVID rules and the high demand for takeout that comes as a result. I'd recommend this place to anyone, any time. read more

This place changed ownership, it also lost all sense of customer service. Last two orders, pizza was good but that's not the problem. The issue is with a very disorganized staff, I can't tell if there is actually a manager there. Complete chaos, people waiting for their food, I heard one of the guys call out a number in a low tone, by the time the customer got to the counter his order was already in the warmer oven. I was told 30 minutes when I placed my order, I had to wait another 30 minutes for it to be ready. One hour for my pizza. No problem, just get it together and tell me an hour from the get! read more

The Benicia location is my favorite Round Table restaurant. One of the management members, Kimmy, has a lot to do with it. She is always cheerful and helpful. Great service, the quality of the food and restaurant cleanliness is top notch. I actually live in the next town over but this is the place that keeps me satisfied. I know that there were some hiccups lately due to employee turnover or management change but all businesses go thru their rough patches. I will continue to support this local business. read more

This used to be our go to pizza place on Friday night. The owner, Todd, sold it and the food has been horrible. Just horrible. We've asked for our pizza to be well done (crispy) for more than 20-years and remind them with ever order. Obviously it's too hard. They also get the ingredients wrong ALL THE TIME. I hope Todd is enjoying his retirement, but we need someone that cares to by this RTP. read more

First off, the new remodeling they have done to the place makes it look amazing in there. The food was amazing, me and my family and I used to love coming here and eating and were so sad when it closed. Now that it's open, there food was amazing, and the service was great. Jacob was super nice and patient with us and brought the food out to us and checked on us during the entire time we were there. I can't wait for the beer wall to finish!!! read more

Round table never fails! The one thing I love about Round Table is in all the years I have gone, I have never had an issue with their service or pizza. Consistency. Makes a huge difference sometimes when you are craving something.(Especially after the fiasco in Carmel with Mountain Mikes...) On Sunday I ordered delivery. They said it would take 45 minutes. Honestly, I feel like they came like 5 minutes early or so. We ordered half Smokehouse Chicken and half Chicken and Garlic Gourmet. Oh my days... The pizza was sooooo good. Benicia is making it really hard to decide who has the best takeout pizza. Amazing crust. Amazing sauce on both pizzas. With the Smokehouse, you even get red sauce with BBQ sauce drizzle on the top. Who doesn't love BBQ sauce? I loved the Chicken and Garlic with their ranch. It gave even more depth with the flavor. Not much else to say. Round table never fails. However they are a little pricier than our other pizza joints in town. Then again, they are like the Nike of pizza take out so it's a given. But very happy to see their pizza is still glorious!! Can't wait to order from them again! :D read more

This pizza restaurant is amazing! The staff is always courteous and friendly. And the pizza lives up to its reputation every time. I'm including a picture of Their new pizza the Apollo. Personally, I found this pizza to be a bit dry and salty, but with high-quality ingredients. My personal favorite is the double pepperoni which is ridiculously delicious. read more

Been ordering pizza here for the last 6 years. Birthday parties, playdates, home movie nights, end of season team meet, family in town, friends visiting--all good all the time. Round table in restaurant service is good. Round table phone etiquette is also good to go. The restaurant smells like.. a PIZZA Parlor! Shocking, I know. Doesn't have any weird or unseemly smells or odors throughout the restaurant (in the main entrance, by the arcade, either side rooms). (Some ridiculous stuff in these reviews... I mean, sure, a place could stink, but it has not for us, ever, and we go maybe 1x a month...) Never once have we been disappointed: pizza has been crispy, perfectly tasty, wings and cheese bread have been delicious. One time I ordered mild buffalo wings, and they came out spicy--told the guy at the counter, and he apologized, went ahead and prepped me 6 more wings. Polite, customer oriented, and responsive. Awesome, thank you! Also want to add, RT pizza is delicious at the time its served hot, and its delicious as a leftover. When we have put leftover pizza in the fridge or freeze and thaw it later, pizza is tasty and good to go after reheating in the oven. Did you know there is a local pizza place, where each time we order Hawaiian pizza, the leftover ham turns brown? I mean, maybe its organic? But it is unappetizing for sure. Hawaiian pizza from this RoundTable? Delicious and the ham doesn't change colors overnight . We love this place and will continue to patronize them! Thank you for being the last honest and really, the most awesome pizza for good prices and in our neighborhood! Winner winner pizza dinner! read more

Only Round Table Pizza I'll go to. Food is always fresh and the service is outstanding!

Pizza was delivered timely and hot. I did notice the sauce is different which makes me sad. The sauce was one of my favorites there and now round table tastes like a completely different pizza. No flavor in the sauce what so ever hope they decide to go back to original sauce as I felt like that's what made this place unique. Two friends who were over for pizza noticed the same thing. I don't understand why a recipe would be changed that has worked for years. Why would we change to a sauce that has no flavor? Because of this they may lose a lot of customers because of this. I've never heard of once complaint about original sauce so this is super weird. read more

I've been to many round tables in the area but this one stands out by far. The customer service here is phenomenal, the young lady in the front was so helpful and patient with me ordering and with my indecisiveness. Great service and ambience. Management was great! great Location and is servicing the local community of Benicia well.

Wow, I waited 1 hour and 45 minutes for my pizza last night and pretty recently I waited 1 hour and 20 minutes. That's crazy. I know they had a driver problem but it's not the first time. Generally it takes no more than an hour. Customer service here is usually very good and the pizza is usually good. But waiting that long? I would have NEVER ordered if I'd had any idea. I had dinner at 9:45 p.m. The pizza was not up to their usual standards either - though not bad. I suggest they call folks who order when they have these BIG delays. I definitely would have cancelled. Anyone else? read more
