So the Niners last win of the year netted me an awesome coupon for some pizza! We looked to see what the options were and I stumbled across Indian fusion pizzas which I had no idea they had! We got a large Chicken Curry pizza that was amazing! Great curry flavors, all the vegetables were crisp and played so well in the pizzas success. Jalapeños were a nice touch to bump the heat up a bit and the chicken was flavorful and not dried out. We also got the garlic sticks with cheese since the discount was there on the pizza. I ordered from this store on DoorDash yesterday and what was delivered was absolutely vile. I ordered the Apple of my Pie which is something I've tried before from a different location and liked. What we received is a repulsive, grotesquely raw, entirely inedible, underbaked abomination from the pits of hell itself. It's also missing several ingredients. It's supposed to have cheese and cinnamon topping that bakes to a golden brown over the apples. For me, everything was so unbaked that the poor apples slid right off of their pedestals revealing the sticky raw dough that violated my eyes and turned my stomach in horror. I ordered pizzas for lunch on a Sunday afternoon using the website. I've done it many times at another location in the next city over, so I thought the process would be just as seamless. Sadly, that wasn't the case here. This location doesn't have indoor dining at this time. So when you walk in, it looks very dead. There appeared to be only two workers in the back - one of them running back and forth, covering both front and back. After I placed my order, I thought 30 minutes would be ample time to have my order ready. But when I arrived, they hadn't even started my order. I had to wait 20+ additional minutes for my food. The food quality was not as good as the other location I frequent, it may have been undercooked because the crust was cardboard-like. I used to be a huge fan of Mountain Mike's when I lived in the Bay Area. Quite a few years ago, though, they went through a slump in quality (in my opinion) and that caused me to stop eating their pizza. Fast forward to a few days ago, my wife and I decided to treat my parents to pizza and when asked where they'd like it from, my mom suggested Mike's. I placed an order via Uber Eats and called in to the location immediately for them to add extra sauce to my pizza as there was no option to do within the Uber Eats app. The young woman on the phone said it would be fine and that they could do that. About 2 minutes later I get a missed call from a totally different number and try calling the number back to no avail. The number was disconnected. Then I call the actual phone number to the location just to follow up and the young woman then reneged what she initially told me and "the cook already started your pizza so we couldn't add extra sauce." If you are looking for pizza locally I would say this place is it. It's tough to be a business/restaurant in this day and age.... But with that being said I generally have sub par experiences. Food generally isn't ready on time even with online ordering. I'd also like to preface that I don't expect my order out on the dot, but within a reasonable 10-15 minutes after the ETA is given is always nice. Additionally staff seem to give average experiences. It's a more leisurely paced and take your time vibes.... Very single task oriented, as in staff are not well trained to multitask and be efficient. On what seems a quiet day with only 2 customers in a 15 minute time span the front workers were confused.... The worker was apparently waiting for a side of honey garlic for the wings... though no special requests were made but rather he thought it was wings with a side of sauce? If you are going to be put on the front end you should at least know your menu. Definitely think some re-training would go a long way to make these employees successful. But anyways back to the pizza review: it was flavorful but cold. read more

My family are repeat customers because we love the pizza and breadsticks. It's a tasty, convenient meal that gives us enough leftovers for the next day. The staff is always friendly in my experience. The one reason I had to take away one star is, we usually get our food delivered, and almost never receive the Parmesan and peppers we ask for. This time we didn't even receive the ranch which we paid extra for. I called the restaurant about this before, but now that it's still happening, I thought I'd come here in hopes it will improve. Two stars, not one, but only because historically they've been pretty reliable. Yesterday night, ordered a 32 dollar pizza via EAT24. Received the confirmation that the order was placed. Waited 20 mins, and since i was working, my wife headed over to pick it up. She got to the the store and was informed that they never received an order for me. Went back and forth and back and forth, and then back and forth so more! Bear in mind that i already for this pizza, i received confirmations that this store was getting it ready and it was on time. The manager on site really made us feel like we had to prove to them that we were not lying, which is horrible to do when you work in the "hospitality industry". I paid my money, the 3rd party service confirmed that this store had my order and was working on it. So, after wayyyy too long, I resorted to have to forward them my personal emails (key-word here: "personal email") they my (1) confirmed my order , AND (2) my email (from my pesronal account) confirming that I paid for it. My wife hard headed about stuff like this. I'd prefer not to waste my time and i'll find another pizza place. We are in no way short on place to eat pizza.. Anyhow, she waited for them to make it. They said that because they "never got the order" that we'd have to wait the regular amount of time for the pizza to cook. At this point, it was almost an hour of valuable time wasted. But,this is where it gets kinda funny.... The manager on site explained they they have "NEVER HAD TO CONFIRM AN ORDER FOR EAT24". Common sense called BS, because a business structure for an SAAS service provider, such as EAT24, would be completely out of business tomorrow if they never confirmed with a partner restaurant brand/chain that they were actually getting the orders..... just think about that....that statement makes no sense. As a side note, I work in software, I write SLA contracts as part of my day to day workflow. An SLA is a "service level agreement" that explains how the process or software works, and how a software company will resolve issues or problems should one arise. A professional would laugh themselves silly if they saw an SLA that says, 'we never asked the client (restaurants) to confirm the order'. Anyhow, she's waiting, and five minutes or so after they offered to make the pizza IT WAS READY! They have magical ferry dust that creates pizzas faster than some people can urinate in a toilet! I was impressed. The best part, right when she called to say they had it ready, i received an email from EAT24 saying the restaurant had just advised that the order was fulfilled. LOL. bear in mind, they "never got this order", from the managers mouth, so the other logical explanation was that the ferry that gave them the ferry dust which makes pizzas in 5 mins VS 25 mins that it normally takes on a busy weekend, and also told EAT24 that my food was about to go out the door! So, to bring this all to an end, and to offer some proper feedback, Mountain Mike's should look this review as some form of a NPS score or Net Promoter Score (some more software and restaurant verbiage). If they do, they will realize that by looking at the terrible reviews on social media. ALL THE REVIEWS on Yelp, these reviews also serve as a KPI (key-performance indicator) that they are not doing something right. Oh yes, and, i sent over an email to EAT24 because they asked for feedback. They replied that this location confirmed the order not ONE time, but TWO times which they verified on their action logs. Once via tablet set exclusively for EAT24, but again via a general email address at the restaurant. So, someone is full of it.....and based on my professional experience in tech, the person what was full of it was not emailing me back in tens minutes to advise they issued me a full refund and would have someone reach out to the restaurant to ask they are telling people that they "do not confirm any orders". When you own a restaurant, you sell two things that mean more than anything else - 1) food, and 2) service. Food was fine, but service sucked big time. Thanks for reading my rant! Veggiemore which they have apparently changed to Mr. Veggie"less" while charging the same $30 price. Pizza had half the toppings compared to 3 months ago and all piled in the middle 1/2-2/3 of the pizza while the outer portion of the pizza was just 1.5-2" of cooked sauce. It's been years since I've tried Mountain Mike's Pizza (MMP) and so I thought I'd give them another try. It's exactly how I remembered MMP. It must be an acquired taste because they have been in business for years now. It was a Wednesday evening and they had a buffet going on. Salad bar was under par as certain items weren't refilled and maintained. There was no lettuce! Pizzas offered weren't appealing. Crust seems to be on the dry side, but I believe it is a preference for some. Part of their buffet offerings were advertised with breadsticks, but they were no where in sight.
